I went here for a Mommy and Me paint night and had an amazing time! We've also bought ceramics to do at home as well, so this was my second time here. It's in the shopping center with Nomad pizza (great spot to get dinner beforehand), lots of parking, you have to walk into the middle of the plaza to get to the store front. The staff are very helpful, friendly. The facility is clean. The prices are good, they have groupons as well. The event we went to was so much fun, very age appropriate and easy for the kids to follow along. I hope they offer more of these in the future. They have lots of events on their Facebook page. Definitely recommend!!

Post glaze a pre glaze. This place is super cute, it's in the center of the shops and it house an indoor and outdoor area. It's right near the fountain so it's a peaceful ambiance while you are painting. They have a wide range of objects to choose from. The staff was incredibly nice and would regularly come around to find out if we needed to refill any specific paint colors. It was my first time painting pottery since high school so they were nice enough to explain in detail how many layers to put and which areas to paint first to make it easier. We stayed painting around 2.5 hours. They offered the chance for my mother to return another day at no cost to finish hers since we were hungry and wanted to go get food. This place is a much calmer pace in comparison to the one I've passed by in Menlo mall so I like that I picked Princeton as it gave the flexibility to stay for as long as we wanted.

Just an Update: This buisness has been sold to a new owner (her name is Krystal), but things are just as simple and nice as they have always been. (I was worried when I heard it was for sale because I like this place so much, but it's clear that the torch has been passed from one wonderful woman to another) The new owner really understands how much people in the community value and enjoy this buisness. She sent out an email to a bunch of the regular/previous customers introducing herself, where we learned she is a brain surgery survivor who enjoyed using art to help her healing process. As an "almost (school and clinical hours done... just need that license to come in the mail) psychotherapist" for children, I feel we need places like Color Me Mine now more than ever, so I truly hope this buisness continues to succeed

The instructors…read morewere so kind and helpful to us and we genuinely had an amazing time for our first ever pottery class. We got to choose between a mug, bowl, or plate but you can modify the exact shape or depth and they help you do that! We were there for about two hours and it was plenty of time to make our pottery and paint. Definitely search up some ideas or a Pinterest board for inspiration beforehand since we all spent so long there trying to decide.

This summer 2023 I decided to spend some time to explore pottery making. I chose this studio…read morebecause I wanted to try out pottery making first with a one day experience ( use the wheel with their expert guidance, create a finished piece and paint the piece). I loved my process during the one day wheel experience and decided to take their 4 week wheel classes. I mostly learned from their staff Danielle and she was an excellent teacher! One day wheel experience - $48 per person - perfect friend hangout or date activity! - make 1 piece on the wheel with expert staff guidance with options to make 1 more piece on your own - paint your piece with engobes paint and pick up your piece after a few weeks! 4 week classes - $200 total- such a good deal! Weekly 1 hr classes that includes all supplies, glazes and firing - make atleast 2 pieces depending on how your skills progress throughout the classes. I made 6 pieces but only took home 4! - I was a beginner so Danielle focused on throwing cylinders. However I wish there could be more variety in throwing different shapes- like a bowl - I learned so much from each class from wedging clay, centering, making even walls, trimming, making and attaching handles I loved my experience here and I'll be back to utilize their studio space for wheel throwing as well as glaze some of their premade pieces

I love how they have such wide variety of items to choose form... the options were endless and all SO CUTE! The staff members are available to give you refills on your paint during your session and they are also willing to give you additional colors after your chosen 5. They also have tons of tools to use at your disposal (stencils, different types of brushes, hairdryers, etc).  Reservations are up to 2 hours, which I found to be on the shorter side (esp for a perfectionist like me!). My friends and I actually did not finish our pottery pieces during our first visit, but they were very accommodating and we were able to come back to finish our pieces a few weeks after.  Pieces are ready for pick up 1 week after you finish painting, which is a very quick turn around.

They have plenty of items to pick from and the prices are all on the pieces. The service is good and they bring you the paint you need. The worker reminded us right at the 2 hour mark that we had to finish up and leave, or that we could take our pieces to go and bring them back. We decided to just stop our pieces and leave them as is. We came back a few weeks later to pick up our finished pieces. Overall a fun spot that I've been to a few times, but definitely not affordable as a regular hobby.

Every room is private so it was just the 2 of us and they let you connect your phone to their system so you can listen to your own playlist while painting. They give you ample and quality gear - poncho, coveralls, gloves and goggles. And then they send you into the room with plenty of paint, 1 canvas per person and whatever else you ordered (paint bombs, paint guns, spin art, stencils, etc). We also got the bear pour as an add-on and I'm super excited about it! (Note that the bear can't be taken home that day though so we paid for shipping). You can paint wherever and however to your hearts desire. Our room also had plastic axe throwing and a drum with paint on it to splatter. I LOVE taking pictures so I also very much appreciated that they come in constantly to take pictures and send them to you a few days later. When it was time to go, they give you pizza boxes that hold the canvases perfectly. We laid down a sheet in our trunk underneath but it wasn't necessary (and our canvases had A LOT of paint on them so we we were impressed they didn't spill - and made the 1.5 hr drive home without getting ruined). It was a fun way to celebrate my birthday and I would definitely go back with my 3 boys! Afterwards, we did their target zone with BB guns (they said age minimum is about 10 which makes sense). I wasn't sure if we'd do it but I wanted to extend our day to more than just the hour so we went ahead and did it. VERY WORTH IT! Ron helped us and was a great instructor - very nice and happy to be there. We tried their airsoft rifles and then their handguns and both were very different and fun to play with. My husband and I went head to head making it a fun competition and it's pretty easy to pick it up quickly. Overall, great experience and really friendly staff!
