The Lead teacher Tatiana is an amazing and skilled teacher who inspires and keeps kids engaged. My daughter loves to go and the teachers attitude and passion is a great reason! Thank you Tatiana and her assistant teachers to make Saturday mornings fun!

Unfortunately, the owner's pushy/aggressive demeanor and the way she berated me in front of my guests was unacceptable. Many of the party guests found her to be offensive (rushing them, being unnecessarily bossy, rude to both the children and adults). I gave her the benefit of the doubt and figured she just ran a tight ship to keep the place clean and party on schedule, although I did feel very rushed during food/cake time. I actually have her on video loudly hurrying my daughter to blow out her birthday candle! Towards the end of the party, I generously gave a $50 tip to our party attendant. The owner ran over, snatched the tip out of her hand and dramatically laid the money out on the table, counted it OUT LOUD bill by bill and started YELLING AT ME that it was not enough! I can't believe I was treated this way after spending over $600 at her establishment for a 2 hour party (only the first 30-40 min of it was actually run by them- the rest was free time while they ate in the back). She would not let up after several minutes, telling me that culturally I should tip 15% of the party total (I should add that she was including the $80 in pizza I ordered and tipped for in that total) and that most people tip $45-$60 per party attendant (she considers herself, the owner, to be an attendant). When I told her I did not have any more cash on me she demanded I venmo the party attendant (she was so embarrassed she refused to give me her venmo) She would not let up until I told her she was ruining my daughter's special day. My friends and family who overheard the incident were appalled. Gratuity is at the discretion of the customer. If she wanted to include required gratuity in her price, she should have done so.

Last year my son went to idTech Camps for the first time. He went for two weeks, taking game design…read morecourses. My son loved the camp. He learned a lot and really liked being around other kids who are passionate about technology. The staff to student ratio is great, so kids get the help and direction they need. The facilities are good, allowing each camper to access the equipment he needs. It's a pricey camp, but worth every dollar. My son is going back this summer.

What a tremendous experience. This has given him an opportunity to be around like-minded kids and not only have an educational experience, but a social one as well. As much as he enjoys hanging out with the other campers, he's a huge fan of the instructors too and truly looks up to them. Based on his comments and what I've seen when dropping him off and picking him up, the instructors relate well to the campers. That's a huge plus. As a parent, my expectations for what he gets out of the camp are realistic and have been met every year. I don't expect my son to walk out of there an expert in whatever course he took that week. As long as he had fun, was challenged and inspired, and made some friends if even for a week, it was a worthwhile experience. He's already looking forward to doing it again this year.

Even with that, he's playing vs very good players. Top high school players, players with over utr 7. Good drills. Lots od coaches watching. Good scrimmages. Besides the high caliber of players even at the lower tier tennis camp, what struck me most was the people here. The staff are super personable. They explained to me how they run the camps and what to expect. There's just a friendly old school vibe with all the people here. I appreciated how they are open for talking and actually listened to my concerns and addressed them. I felt respected. Maybe they are originally from the south I don't know... ‍ Def not the norm these days in the tristate.
