Our HOA used American Backflow last month to test the backflow for our unit. Dylan came out to do…read morethe job and told my father who was there to let him in my home that "even if the backflow doesn't pass, we'll pass it anyways". Well, that's exactly what he did. The backflow then proceeded to leak for 5 days when my wife and I discovered water seeping up through our floors next to the utility closet. The backflow was leaking from the 2 check valves on top of the backflow that Dylan used to check the system. It was also discovered that he accidentally moved our drain for all the piping in that utility closet when he conducted his test which caused the condensation line from the condenser to leak into that closet as well. Dylan came back out that following Monday and repaired the 2 valves that were leaking, and a separate plumber (a friend of Steve Krebbs) came out to fix the drain issue. Dylan apologized for the water damage to our floors and admitted it was him that caused it and that Steve would call me to discuss paying for the damages caused by his employee. I waited for over a week and received no call from Steve. I called his office twice during that time and they assured me that he would be calling. He never did which shows what type of person he is. I called him after waiting that week and he is now saying they aren't liable for the damages and trying to pass the buck to my HOA for hiring his company. I have video evidence and pictures of the damages. Do not use this company.

Cooper installed our HVAC system about 9 years ago. We bought the annual maintenance agreement for…read morewhich we get a testing and cleaning of both heat and AC....Last week it was time of the AC test. Mario is a nice, polite and well versed serviceman. During the inspection he mentioned the capacitor was "reading low" and he recommended I replace it. I looked it up on google and it suggested the price of the part was about $25. Now mind you, I had no trip cost, as he was already on premises for the annual service. He quoted $500 and change. I was shocked and he then went to to say that I really should install a "Turbo Capacitor" and "UPGRADE THE ELECTRONICS. for a total cost of $702. Now look at this video on replacing the capacitor for $25 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwdsAD019pk I challenged the number and asked him to cal the office. They confirmed that the price is fixed - I felt under the gun. He was already here, trip fare was paid so I figured to approve the install and challenge the number with the office. He then told me that the insulation was warn, so he needed to replace, not urgent, but needed. About 18" of foam insulation....price $209....FOR 18" of cheap, off the shelf insulation that probably costs under $1....and he was already at my place. After a lot of back and forth, he "threw in" the foam. I called the office and explained my shock at the price and was told they bill at $400/hr labor plus parts. Even with trhat exorbitant hourly rate, he hardly worked for 45 minutes to do all the work, so I asked for a breakdown of parts and labor. Was told they work on fixed pricing with no breakdown. I have been a satisfied customer and find their technicians to be able and polite. On their website I gave them a 4 star review thing I would be able to put some of this story but there was no such opportunity. I hate feeling that every time something needs repair, you have to guard against being taken advantage of. I thought I had a trusting relationship with them, and am disappointed to find out that is not the case.

I've been using Cooper since 2021. I went through Costco to purchase a new AC and they contract…read morewith Cooper. They were amazing when they did the install and I've been happy with their preventative maintenance services. I recently used them for a plumbing service and had Mirwais out to complete the job. It was a big job that took all day. Mirwais and Eric were professional and communicated everything they were doing throughout the day. Cooper has done right by me and I'm very happy with their services.

I really don't give bad reviews but this poor communication and poor job really harmed our timeline…read moreon our home sale. Absolutely avoid if you want an honest assessment or technician willing to work. I confirmed in advance that we wanted our sewer line cleaned to comply with our inspection during our home sale. The technician came out and said he was going to scope it first, not the service we asked for, and then told my husband repeatedly it didn't need to be cleaned. I later got an email with a recommendation for a cleaning at $1400 and a bill for $154 for scoping the line. I already have an appointment to have the line scoped after the cleaning tomorrow by the original company who scoped it. Never asked for a scope, asked for a cleaning. I've attached the communication that they could do the cleaning while in site. Really challenging when the technician said no cleaning necessary, no repairs necessary and then sends an estimate for recommended cleaning and repair. Moving on to the next company who can maybe do the work we hire for and not waste hours of our time and now days.

Hyper Flow Service has been my trusted plumbers since 2021, for the past 4.5+ years. The owner,…read moreKyle, has also referred me to my equally trustworthy HVAC/Electrician, ArkEHC, and I couldn't be happier! I've worked with David, Jacob, Brian, and James, and can't speak more highly of all of them! They've all helped me in various ways, the past few years, during both emergencies and routine maintenance. It all started in Labor Day 2021, when I had just flown here from Arlington, VA (Washington, DC), to "hug my dad for surviving COVID," as he returned home from the hospital after starting at the VA, then being at a private hospital for 5-weeks, and he was scheduled to be discharged Labor Day weekend, just as his basement sewage plumbing backed up! I was so overwhelmed. I called 1.800 Water Mitigation, to remove all the HAZMAT, then get going on the dehumidifiers, fans, and worked with USAA to re-build the entire basement thereafter, and for the stopped-up toilet, I called Hyper Flow. James helped me snake the basement toilet, and begin to explain all of home plumbing to me. That was 4-years ago. Then I began hiring Hyper Flow to slowly rebuild two upstairs toilets that my dad had perhaps not maintained as well as ideal (he was on fixed income, after all, so no judgment), as well as the two upstairs bathroom sinks, then ultimately I hired them to replace the Kitchen Sink Faucet (James did this work, as Brian was the manager, who helped me assess the problem and do the estimate). James also helped me get my Water Heater (that a different company installed, that was no up-to-code) up to code, per the retroactive Home Inspection, and James helped me install a mainline water shutoff. My house is finally in ship-shape - on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC - all thanks to Kyle, the owner of Hyper Flow. Highly recommend! FYI, they've also jetted my lateral sewage line pipes - twice - and I will be hiring them for the excavation of the line that connects to my HOA main sewage line, before it connects to the City of Denver, once that time comes. Great work, great value, and - most of all - I trust them & their work.
