They have always gone above and beyond. They treat you like family and I trust them explicitly. First Day out, Biminis blew off, if somebody would've been sitting on the lounger they would have been seriously hurt or worse one or two months later that became a recall item from Barletta, not long after that the depth finder quit working, found out later the plug came off, the nice dining table that makes it the entertainer has some beautiful, beautiful chrome welds that came apart Now they want to fix it with L brackets. Also, on the first Day out the paint started peeling on all the floor rails.We wanted to trade it last summer, but the owners at Colorado boat center asked me to wait until this year's boat show they would not be able to pay me what that boat was worth at that time in the season but if I waited, I they would definitely take care of me. NOT SO MUCH!! Went to visit them today at this year's boat show they offered $60,000 less than I paid for it , not a very happy man today there's less than 30 hours on this brand new boat that is supposed to be heads and shoulders above the rest when it comes to build quality. On top of that, I can't even trade today because of all the warranty work that still isn't done and it was reported when we got back from Lake Havasu last March. Sold me a $2000 cover for travel, and it came apart on the way to Havasu our first voyage BUYER BEWARE!!!!! 2/2/23 Well, I reached out to Eric as suggested in their response the same day they posted it and have not heard a peep. 3/3/23 Well warranty work finally done. I can't say enough good things about Scott in service and the guys in the back however, you cannot trust ownership as far as you can throw them. I have visited Colorado Boat Center three times. First time was to buy a new boat. Second was for service. Third and last was for a part. Each time I have left empty handed. I felt the time I was looking to buy, the salesperson was high pressure and really didn't listen to what we wanted. The service call resulted in an expensive diagnostic charge just to bid a repair that was 3x what I ultimately paid someone else to do it. Today, I needed a part. Upon arrival the part guy walked away from the counter as I approached. 5 minutes later he came back to serve me. They didn't have a very common part but he offered to order it. I explained I needed it today and he acted very annoyed. I see no need to return here because the prices are high, the service is high pressure and rude, and they seldom have what I need. I dropped off my boat for a small repair that I knew exactly what was needing to be done, they claimed that I needed and additional $15k in repairs!!! As I asked more questions as to what was wrong, his story started changing once he realized I knew a few things about engines. He tried justifying it by saying we had another owner with the same issue. You may have found one sucker today but not two! I took it to another repair shop and they said there was no other issues with the engine. Had I not known what I know, they would have conned me out of $15k. Unless you really know boat engines...STAY AWAY!!! read more

Among the worst Marine Service Centers I have ever dealt with. Avoid Scott in Service Department and Eric Smith (Co-Owner).

Truly one of the worst companies I have ever used. I had 10000 dollars of new fishing equipment installed from Minkota trolling motor and two new hummingbird fish finders. From the first time I dropped boat off it was a nightmare. I was told it would take one day to install. I told them I would be out of town for 3 days and Scott said that would be no problem. I called when I got back to pick boat up and was yelled at by Scott that they were very busy and boat would be done when they had time and hung up. I called back and asked what was going on and why he was so angry. He said I don't have time for this and said pick up your boat in two days. When I went to pick it up I asked the young technician to show me how new trolling motor and electronics worked. He said he had not installed it and had no idea. I drove off with boat and thought I could figure it out. Immediately I noticed many wires were not connected to trolling motor. I called back and asked what was going on and explained what I was seeing. Scott said bring boat in. I did they worked on it another two days. I was told to pick it up at 9 am on a Saturday morning. I drove in and was told by Scott it was not ready. I said it would have been nice to get a call as he had just told me the day before to be there by 9am. He yells across the counter that I should have called and walked off. Truly unbelievable. I picked it up 3 hours later and was told they checked everything. I took it to the water and the trolling motor deployed and would not redeploy. Spent a hour on the lake taking it apart and pulling it up manually. Took it back and was told mother board was fried and would need a new one. I said I would like a new trolling motor as this was the first time used. So they replaced it. Second time on lake again motor would not redeploy. I you tubed it and it said probably was electric plug if they used one from old trolling motor which they did. I called and now I was working with Tom the owner as multiple times Scott was very rude. He brought service tech out to lake to repair trolling motor with new electrical plug. Come to find out he is a fireman and does this part time and had installed my entire system. So now trolling motor works but I am having problems with fish finder linking with network to follow contour. I spent hours with technical support and the said probably lose wire. I spoke with Tom and technician they said needed software update. I had this done in July and had used boat maybe 5 times with always a problem. Now it was end of October and I was leaving for Arizona. I spoke with the owner Tom and he said he was too busy to fix right now but would in the spring. I said I was worried about the warranty with waiting so long. He said it would be no problem. So I waited until April and brought boat back in. I go to pick it up and was told I had a 400 dollar bill for software update. I said this makes no sense as it never worked correctly and was told it would be under warranty. I than received a call from the owner Tom who stated he would write off the bill but to not ever bring my boat back in as he could not keep fixing it for free and that I had used it for 9 months. I reminded him I had used less than 10 times and he had said warranty would be good. He hung up the phone. So now it has been a year and I am still having same problems with system and they will not back up there work. Truly a nightmare from the owner to his employees. Definitely would not recommend anyone using this place. read more

The team at Colorado Boat Center has been storing and servicing my Bennington boat for 4 years now. They have always treated my boat like it was their own, pricing and recommendations for repair have always seemed very fair. My boat is a 2006, and I've never had any issues out on the water. I damaged my swim deck with an anchor and they had someone come to their location to fix it. Very nice group of people. Also, storage fees seem very fair as well. Thanks, CBC! read more

When you drop nearly 60 grand on a boat you would like to feel like the people who sold it to you actually care that you had an enjoyable buying experience. Once the paperwork is signed you are left feeling like they just want you to go away. They didn't honor everything that they agreed to in our contract and Ashley, one of the owners, is snotty and acted offended when asked about it. Still waiting for a call back with resolution but its been a few months so I won't be holding my breath. Can't comment about their service dept. but considering our treatment by owners, we wont be trusting them with my boat. The worse after sale experience ever. Things seem great when you are signing the paperwork then the problems begin. BUYER BEWARE!!! There are so many better boat dealers out there. Take your time and do your research, I made the mistake of trusting their service dept after I bought my boat from them. I ended up with a quote for over $7000 for a motor rebuild or $600 trade in on the almost $20,000 boat I bought from them a few years back. When I went to see and hear how bad the motor was they had completely ripped it apart so that it was not functional. So I really could not see if it was broken or get a second opinion. I won't even get into the other issues with their service dept. By the way if you read this CBC, tell you service tech's I pulled the supposed bad gas that blew the powerhead out of the boat a year after you said it was bad and it was still fine. I always used ethanol free 91 octane and winterized with stabil. read more

This place is horrible... Charges are outrageous... Over 400.00 to change the oil in my boat. The front desk lady Jen did not explain the options for winterization and they took it upon themselves to do as they wished and said it took 2.5 hours to do service on the boat ( aka...change the oil )... The service manager and owner both are extremely unprofessional and don't care if they lose business because " where else are you gonna take your boats" that's what I was told. My previous marine dealer was half the cost for twice the work...too bad they are back in Idaho. read more
