Avoid AT ALL COSTS. Find a reputable, reliable, and trustworthy mobile mechanic in the area that isn't just trying to make a buck off of you. These people are con men just trying to milk out the biggest bill of the smallest repair ever. A $250 job MAX turns into a $1000+ job just off of their over priced labor and their multiple trips back and forth to your residence to try to run up a "service call" bill at $140 each. They are not transparent with prices no matter how much you ask them. Their labor is $180 an HOUR!! I even helped the old man out with the labor to make his job easier anything to make a buck in today's day and age I guess. I recommend rv doctor, roaming rv tech, or big guy mobile repair. There is a dearth of honest and dependable RV service providers across the country. It's a shame and a real frustration for folks like us who travel full-time and frequently require expert service. I have intentionally waited several weeks since our repairs were completed at DM RV to make sure that my feelings were in proper perspective before writing this review. But no amount of time will change my opinion of Don, Marianne, Huey and the rest of the staff here. They are competent, honest and they treated us the way they would want to be treated. if there was a negative number this company would have a -1,000,000, but I had to at least do a one to get this thing posted!!! You are lying just like everybody else that works there. Because you keep sticking up for them when they do shitty work. The batteries were just looked at couple weeks ago and they have corrosion all over them the guy said that they were never ever maintained and you can tell that, and I am enclosing a picture. They were not cleaned or serviced. The jacks still do not work and the one that I told him them about is still not working on the right front, they lie about everything!!!! Don't try to blame me for the leaking in the window on the driver side when it's leaking from the very top not from a window that might've been left open, once again trying to put the blame on me for something that someone in your lousy company did NOT DO AND CHARGED ME FOR!!!!!And I have pictures to prove it the leaking's nowhere even near an open window, it's coming from where I asked them to caulk and it was never done. The other window SCREEN is broken because they stuck a hose to it that is what your LYING technician or mechanic or whatever you wanna call him said. I am sick and tired of you guys trying to rip everybody off especially other old people that probably cannot even read the bill correctly. And you did call and ask For an additional $185 for the hitch. On top of the additional 185 you already charged me so that makes it pretty near $400! And I do have all my documentation and I have pictures to prove it. In my car that you supposedly put in a new lightbulb does not work in the back charge me $10 and I had one in the glove box I was going to use now my car blinker will not turn off when I turn the corner and that is due to a faulty lightbulb! The worst part was when I called because the RV braking system that you installed was not charging and I could not continue on my trip. So I stopped in Destin. And now I am going to go ahead and add in economic distress charges along with emotional distress that this has caused me. And I wish you all luck in hiring a lawyer and going to court because the paperwork is in the process!!! I could go on and on but the whole truth is is that I hope and pray nobody ever ever ever takes their RV to your shop ever !!!!... and just because you've been in business for that many years does not mean that you've been an honest person so there's that, this company is horrible!!!!! read more

I brought my motorhome here this past April for quite a bit of extensive repair. I really was hoping that I had finally found a good RV repair place...sadly, not. They kept my motorhome over a month and many of the things they "fixed" did not stay fixed or were never fixed in the first place. They also replaced parts with ones that didn't fit my motorhome. The biggest issue was my heater. It would start up but then shut off within 30 seconds. DM said they fixed it but as soon as the cold weather hit we found the problem still existed. I called DM and was told they could not even look at it for over two weeks- I need it for a camping trip next weekend. I called another repair place and they looked at it same day and also fixed it while I waited. DM has lost a customer for life and another RV repair place in Fort Collins has gained a new one! read more

I waited a few months before doing this review to see if my opinion would change. I brought my RV in to replace the by-pass valves on the water heater and they talked me into replacing the gas valve, too. The water valves were so badly done, water leaked on the floor and ruined it. The water connections had been crimped so hard that the washers restricted the flow. The gas valve never worked. They installed the thermocouple incorrectly. They even ruined my propane hose and I had to pay them to replace it. Unfortunately, everything they touched they ruined in this case. It might have been just bad luck, but everything I had them do, had to be redone elsewhere because it did not work. They talk a good game, but in this case, the workmanship failed. If they hadn't charged me to fix their own mistakes and then failed the fix, I might have chalked it up to a bad day. I see other good experiences, but my experience was horrible. read more

4th of July and no hot water! I called DM RV and they were closed for the holiday. I checked the Facebook page and sent a message to Don. He answered and called me. He walked me through the process of diagnosing the problem and how to fix it. He was right on the money! I offered to pay him, but he said to call him if I had any other problems. What a great guy! Very frustrating! The repair man came to fix our black tank valve, in which he fixed but he went to fill up the tank and flooded our camper not once but twice! I got charged for him to come fix what he screwed up in the first place! The office had all our correct billing information all to receive our bill over a year later we were shocked receiving an overpriced bill and nothing we can do to fight it with not even being a recent fix! Very irritated! When asking just a breakdown of the bill we received an extremely rude response! Would NOT recommend to anyone! read more

Called to get an appointment last week, they were able to get me in the following week. Had a leaky toilet and not able to get down to it due to physical limits, so decided to give DM RV Service a try. Arrived a bit early, the technician (didn't get his name) was outside and came to take a look at my trailer and bathroom. He found that some of the fittings were loose and had probably been that way a while, and was able to find the source of the leak. Had the parts needed to make the repair and was able to get it done in about 30 minutes...while I waited! I fully had expected to have to leave the trailer and come back, but that was not the case. Service was quick and thorough! The owner, Don, came over while the repairs were under way and we talked a bit about winterizing/dewinterizing the trailer and said he'd be happy to show me how to do it myself this coming winter instead of paying someone to do it. Don was very knowledgeable, their prices were reasonable and service was efficient. Also, while I was there I noted another customer who had come in for a replacement part, and Don didn't charge the customer for the part, hoping she would be a repeat customer. She said she would be and so will I. To the rater who said that the business was dishonest and overpriced, you must have been having a really bad day, or your expectations were unreasonable. Don and DM RV Repair are local and they thrive on referrals and return service. And they will be getting that from me. I appreciated their honesty and fair prices. read more

So frustrated with our experience with this business. They are overpriced and were dishonest in their charges. We were charged $90 for them to give us an estimate! (for which they never mentioned there would be a charge or I would have never done it!) We were given an estimate of $600-750 to complete skylight and generator work on our RV. We left specific instructions for them to call us if things were going to be more expensive or if there were additional problems found. We were then shocked when they handed us a bill for $1400!!! Over $900 in labor charges ($90 for the estimate as mentioned above). The only honest part of their bill was the generator work which they outsourced to someone else. They were unwilling to discuss the bill, immediately very defensive and degrading in their communication. I DO NOT recommend this company for you RV needs. We will drive farther to use someone else in the future. read more
