They also have other types of flooring. We chose a plush carpet and some really good pad and Brett wrote up our order. He sent our phone number to an installer named Chris who was supposed to call us in a day or two to schedule coming out to measure. When I didn't hear from him for 4 days I called him. He said he couldn't get into his email and didn't know that he was supposed to call. But he did come out a few days later to measure and again a week later to measure the third room that was missed on his first visit (hubby's fault). Being that it was only 3 days before our scheduled install I was definitely nervous. Brett called us two days before install to say they didn't have enough of our chosen carpet and offered the options of choosing a different carpet, doing less area, or getting our full deposit back and not getting carpet. We opted for getting a different carpet so we made that drive up north once again. The morning of our install Chris called to say he couldn't make it but would send his brothers. We had spent days getting the rooms ready - taking out all the stuff in the closets (up to 3 feet off the floor), emptying shelves, and basically removing everything but the heavy furniture. So of course I said ok to having substitute installers. They turned out to be very good and got the job done in one day. So far everything looks great And they only missed one night stand when putting the furniture back. So Sloane's will continue to be our go to for new carpet.

Next they rented a dehumidifier and three floor fans from Home Depot. That was it. Upon leaving they said they be back everyday to check. You going to help blow on the wall? After he revisited my house. He gave me attitude that it wasn't hot enough in room. (They used my heater) I told him I'm not running my heater at night unattended. He got semi aggressive so I got mad and made him leave. He didn't come back til they picked up the rental equipment. Home Depot must've emailed em. You pointed fans at moisture. Not much of a job for a $1500 bill. This is a scummy business. I do not recommend. I'll do it for much cheaper

Installed vinyl plank flooring…read more He threw the boxes of vinyl planks down on my upstairs floor, as if he were a roofer throwing bundles of shingles down on a roof. It was so hard that he shook the dome off my light fixture down below. The fixture broke, and Frenchy told me I could just superglue that back together ... and he thought that was fine. He was installing some of the planks in a room with a new sink. The room was under construction, and the sink wasn't attached yet. There was no drain, and no faucet. He filled up his water bucket in the shower, and instead of pouring that down that shower drain or the toilet when he was done, he poured it down the sink that had no drain. Water went all over the inside of my new cabinet, which he hardly wiped up. When I went down hours later to see how things were doing, the floor of my brand new thousand dollar cabinet was still covered in a half inch of standing water and the floor of the cabinet was ruined. He didn't think that was any big deal either. He used duct tape to hold down a transition piece. And when I pulled the duct tape up the next day, it pulled the finish off that transition piece. Brand new, and it was also trashed. The planks he laid look good, but he did so much peripheral damage, that I would never, ever recommend Frenchy. Post reply by owner: A few corrections to your reply: You did not offer to replace the vanity. You offered to lay vinyl plank flooring on the floor of the inside of the cabinet, to hide all the waviness from that water you poured down there having sat there. That plank flooring would have added bit of height to the floor, onto which the drawer mounts sat, which would have made the drawers not fit in the space. I left the sink drain in its packaging sitting inside that sink, so that it should have been obvious that the drain wasn't hooked up. And there is absolutely no excuse for your not having totally... totally... wiped up every bit of water you poured down there. You told me you thought you had cleaned it up pretty well. I don't know what a half inch of water standing on the cabinet floor could meet your definition of "pretty well". Even if you had offered to replace the entire cabinet, which you did not, that would have required me to redo all the tile work around the cabinet installation. I am bothered by your diminishing your having broken my kitchen light fixture. It doesn't matter if it was small or big. It was one of a group of nine can lights in my kitchen. HomeDepot no longer carried that exact style, so that I would have had to replace eight of them to match the one you would have replaced. They also used one bucket of water to mop about 3500 sq ft of home. I wondered why my floors looked dirty. I caught it when I saw the black water when they started in on my dining room and told them to change bucket water for every room that needed mopping. Overall the cleaners were below average however they did go back and correct the issues that I had. If you aren't picky about surface cleaning you would be okay with them. Certainly not as advertised. I did notify Amy about my dissatisfaction but that I was willing to work with them as I understand each client has their own quirks. The cleaners did improve. After 3 cleanings Amy raised my rate by 65 because it was taking them longer to clean however the following week they were back at the 2 hours. I did substitute a room which took far less time for them. I used them for about 4 months. As a business owner customer service is paramount. I feel the advertising should match the service and in this case it did not. Their rates are high (540 per month) for 4.33 hours per month, which I did not mind paying if the work was done to match the level of pay. Not a good value for the quality of work received

Eric did a really wonderful job -- our house is old, old and the vinyl was going over very old linoleum (horrid old stuff!!) Our kitchen floor was completely done by about 11:00. IT IS BEAUTIFUL!! My husband and I want to thank both Jim and Eric and let them know that we'll be back!! Thanks!! After our great experience with the vinyl flooring -- we went back, looking for carpet for our enclosed porch. As we walked in the door -- Jim welcomed us back!! Remembered us -- nice! I had never heard of them, but I am sure glad they were mentioned to me! This is one of the discount carpet places that sells discontinued carpeting and it is so worth it! After visiting several different places and not being able to find anything even close to my existing carpet color, I walked in and was helped by Kay. She very quickly helped me find a similar color and quality product for my basement. she definitely knows her stuff! Not only that, but it was such a reasonable price! I think the only minimal downside was the carpet installers and their slight carelessness in getting the carpet into the basement. After forcing down a couple chunks of carpet where they scratched up the banisters and the front door they started folding it differently so that they could get it down easier in subsequent trips, but I would not say that they were extremely careful. One of the trips where one of the guys was trying to carry it down and it unrolled. Instead of going back up the stairs, re-rolling it and making it down without incident, instead they forced the carpet down the stairs. Not horrible, but not excellent either. For this I knock off a star. Dealing with everyone here was very easy, professional and there were no complications at all. Need carpet? I recommend this business highly! Go here first! The carpet meets my expectations and looks really nice!

He thoroughly researches material choices to make sure they are appropriate for the application. In our case, he even went shopping with us to find the best tile options. He communicates quickly, frequently, and articulately (hallelujah!), and he is thoughtful and generous in his decisions. The tile job itself is flawless! I strongly believe we'll recover the cost of the job plus a lot more somewhere down the road. His work is meticulous, always going the extra mile, and "close enough" was never enough. He was very receptive to discussing pros/cons of changes and ideas we came up with. In fact, his experience was very useful when we were trying to make decisions for changes.
