He was easy to work with, reliable, and communicated well. Best of all, his work was top-notch. We solicited two other bids and he beat them both on price, and came sooner than they did. I didn't take a "before" picture", but wish I had. Place looks completely different, and you can't see the expertly laid-in drainage. He even spread the half-yard of leftover topsoil in our front yard and evened it out. This was not agreed to, he went above and beyond. I've seen others comment about waiting for him to get back about an estimate - He's a one-man operation and you may need to be a bit flexible on communication as he's his own scheduler, business manager, and worker. I found his communication just fine. Really glad I found JR.

Michael came out and gave both the free estimate and then returned to do the work once we accepted…read morethe bid. He arrived promptly around the times I was told by text message in the morning beforehand. Hero Plumbing replaced a broken spigot and added an additional spigot to our back yard, which had none. Although I had another estimate that was slightly less, I went with Hero because they listened to my description of what I needed and came up with a workable solution for the back yard (since I only need the back spigot during summer they were able to perform a less costly installation off my existing sprinkler supply pipe rather than run a new line through the house). Michael also pointed out there were leaves in the wall near where the leaking spigot was replaced. This helped me figure out that there was a hole in the wall near the spigot, hidden behind my electrical conduit, which is what let cold air in to damage my freeze resistant spigot. The new spigot is a high quality freeze resistant style as well, but I'll get the hole filled in before cold weather comes back. I'm happy that the work done was done in a timely manner and was tested thoroughly afterward. There was a small leak due to a defective part in the added spigot, but Michael was able to get a new part quickly and rebuild the new section of piping. Now everything is working great.

Apex WILL NOT be there in the event of an issue with their service. I DO NOT recommend Apex Plumbing for these expensive repairs as they will not even pretend to back up their work. Save yourself the hassle and go with a reputable company who backs their work. Apex IS NOT that company.
