At the time I was unaware that the business establishment still required masks to be worn. I entered without one. The 2 registration clerks rudely told me to put a mask on and promptly handed me a mask, to which I replied that I had a mask in my pocket. I took it out of my pocket, just after the clerk again rudely told me to put it on immediately to which I obliged. I put my mask on, completed checking in and proceeded to the Laboratory waiting area. There was no further discussion on masks. No confrontation and no refusal on my part. To my knowledge all was well. Today however, I received an email from my employer that a CMC employee submitted a complaint, stating that I refused to wear my mask. Not only did the employee that called, blatantly LIE she also went through my personal file to find out MY personal work information. I want to preface that to my knowledge all mask mandates had been lifted in the state of Colorado, so any mask requirement currently in place is related to the individual business policy/preference and NOT legally law or mandate. Additionally I would confidently request the office to pull up surveillance tapes in the lobby that show me wearing a mask with no objection. I strongly advice Community Medical Center to better inform their employees of what is and isn't acceptable in their profession. Starting with client confidentially and personal integrity. The employee clearly took unacceptable action for personal leverage, not based on honesty or fact. This is not only a breech in patient confidentiality it's additionally defamation of character and false accusation. I would greatly appreciate if a representative from human resources would contact me regarding this matter. Furthermore I don't recommend Community Medical center Lafayette for any health or wellness needs.

But, I had home health with Interim about a year ago, maybe more. It was unexpected, but it was seamless getting set up! My supplies were delivered immediately, there was constant communication and the very best nurse took care of me. I wish so badly I could recall her last name BUT, her first name was Amy. She will forever be special to me and has a special place in my heart and my kiddos as well. She took perfect care of me, was there after hours and was such an advocate! Please if you can, use these folks!! Thank youuu!

Unfortunately, this is the 2nd major accident of my life where I have lost my ability to walk. Last time, I was 19 and spent a year in bed with a back injury. This time I am 41. One positive thing about this being my 2nd time facing recovery and being handicapped is I'm not blind to the treatment and care I am given. I was lucky to get released to in home care a week after my surgery and be able to get Physical Therapy treatments on call through Interim Healthcare. I have also been lucky to receive great care previously in my life, but the treatment, guidance and professionalism my therapist have shown me from Interim is absolutely first rate. I have learned how to safely handle my situation and am making improvement with them I wouldn't have dreamed I could have at this point. I am safe, secure, getting stronger and have hope for my future both while handicapped and beyond thanks to these people. I highly recommend Interim Healthcare to anyone facing a tough situation like mine or anyone looking to help a loved one. Thank you, Interim Healthcare, from the bottom of my heart!!! - This injury happened while on vacation visiting my family in CO from LA where I currently reside. I have been looking at a very long extended stay. Interim is helping to make it possible for me to get healthy enough to get home again sooner than later.

On September 23rd, 2025, I went to the BCH Foothills Hospital Emergency Department for severe…read moreheadaches, dizziness, fatigue, and frequent episodes of double vision. One episode lasted long enough that I had to pull over while driving. The ER performed bloodwork and an MRI, both of which were normal, and sent me home with a generic "how to treat headaches" handout. The handout even specifically stated to seek medical attention if the headaches were accompanied by dizziness or vision changes, which were my main presenting complaints that visit. I followed up with my primary care doctor who referred me to a neurologist and an ophthalmologist. The neurologist was booked until November. I saw the ophthalmologist on October 6th, 2025 and he found significant swelling in both optic nerves and strongly suspected Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH). He told me to go to the ER if my symptoms worsened prior to my neurology appointment. He explained that IIH can lead to permanent vision loss and must be officially diagnosed and treated with a spinal tap. Just two days later, on October 8th, I returned to the BCH Foothills Hospital after four episodes of complete vision loss, along with the worst headache of my life, severe dizziness, and back and neck pain. I was seen by Dr. Shannon Sovndal and gave him a detailed medical history, including my ophthalmologist's findings and his recommendation for a spinal tap. Dr. Sovndal was dismissive, repeatedly interrupted me, and insisted on repeating imaging even though I had just had an MRI at the same facility two weeks earlier. After several hours and additional imaging, he told me everything was "normal" and that there was "nothing wrong." When I explained that my symptoms had worsened and asked again about a spinal tap, he said it was "out of the ER's scope" and that I should wait for my neurology appointment, despite it being a month away. He stated, "if your symptoms get worse, you can come back to the ER. But I don't mean if your symptoms are just bothering you more. I mean if your symptoms are actually progressing." This was extremely frustrating since this was after I had gone completely blind multiple times that day.. if that's not my symptoms progressing, what is? I was sent home again with the same generic headache handout. Feeling unsafe with waiting a month for my neurologist to treat me, I immediately went to UCHealth Broomfield Hospital, where my experience was completely different. Four nurses rushed me back immediately after hearing my symptoms and the ER doctor, Dr. Jessica Mitchell, virtually consulted a neurologist right away. Dr. Mitchell performed a spinal tap and confirmed my intracranial pressure was concerningly high. After removing fluid, I felt instant relief. Dr. Mitchell confirmed the IIH diagnosis and explained that untreated IIH can lead to permanent health issues. Dr. Mitchell asked if I knew why BCH hadn't performed a spinal tap. I told her I had no idea, especially since I had specifically requested one. She appeared visibly surprised and concerned by that answer. Upon discharge from UCHealth, the staff provided me with clear discharge instructions and follow-up recommendations. They told me exactly what symptoms to look out for so I know exactly when to come back to the ER. Dr. Mitchell gave me the information for the neurologist that she consulted with and recommended that I reach out ASAP to schedule an appointment since they know my case and will likely be able to get me seen sooner. I'm deeply disappointed in BCH Foothills Hospital Emergency Department, especially Dr. Shannon Sovndal, for dismissing a serious and time-sensitive neurological condition.. twice. I'm incredibly grateful to UCHealth, Dr. Mitchell, and her team for listening, acting quickly, and preventing what could have been a permanent outcome. I would not recommend BCH Foothills Hospital to anyone seeking thorough or compassionate emergency care. Go to UCHealth Broomfield instead!

I am not able to go into details, but I was severely traumatized by my visit there due to the lack of compassion, exhibited by staff. My safety was put in jeopardy by the decisions made by the staff that day, Specifically the nurses and physician. They succeeded as when I left there. I was traumatized,, vulnerable and afraid.

I had a lab test done here and neither the doctor nor I had heard from them after 15 days, though they promised to send me an email with results. I take it that this facility (Boulder Community Health) and the one at 4743 Arapahoe in Boulder are allied. At the latter place I have had a terrible time, too, with the lab (Labcorp) again failing in its mission, doing only one of two prescribed tests and not reporting to anyone on either. I had to get in touch--not easy--then go out and redo my tests. My experience with physicians out at Boulder Health at or attendant to 4743 Arapahoe has been equally poor. No need to belabor this, but I'd simply suggest you look in a different corner of Denver for your physicians and laboratory work. I've been insulted by a lot of talented artists, but these people go up and beyond to call to do so. It is sheer arrogance and disdain for the patient.
