Not only was Dr. Brandon up to date on healthy feeding practices, he also recommended an amazing lactation consultant that came to our house. He makes us feel good about the health decisions we are making and encourages us to ask questions when we feel somethings off. He has great bedside manner and explains the "what's and why's" which is very helpful to us as new parents (especially for my husband). We have also seen Jordan, PA-C and his nurse Megan who were amazing and got us through our first ear infection. They both called to check on us over a holiday weekend and answered questions we had about additional problems that arose from the antibiotics. We felt supported and knew our baby was in great hands. I totally agree with the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child." We're so glad Stapleton Peds is part of our village!

I have to fire Colorado Kids Pediatrics. My son has had iron deficiency anemia for *three years*…read moreand they never wondered why it wasn't getting better, even after oral supplementation. He's a super compliant kid, too - he took the pills. I was the one who had to ask for a hematology referral because they didn't ask themselves why an otherwise healthy BOY (not menstruating) would be iron deficient. He also had an elevated liver enzyme lab in February. There was no recommendation for follow up, so again, I had to have them order a repeat test to see if there was a trend. It took *6 phone calls* for them to put the order in correctly. The lab resulted with another elevated ALT. This is a meaningful indicator that he could have NAFLD, a totally treatable liver condition...if it's recognized. You bet your bottom I'm not going to follow up with Colorado Kids Pediatrics. I'd just have to tell them what the next steps are and what labs to put in. I'm so mad; why aren't they able to do their job? If I wasn't a provider myself, he wouldn't be getting appropriate treatment for his iron deficiency and the elevated ALT would have gone unnoticed.

When health care providers walk alongside you and your family and provide you with actual resources/studies/classes, it empowers the patient-family to take responsibility for their health and trust their intuition. We appreciate this about the providers here. This practice is an integrated approach as the name states. We have felt supported, listened to & have been given research (backed by scientific evidence) that fits any questions we may have about courses of action. Each child is unique and each family very different and this perspective is well in place here. Ive never felt short of being provided materials to help me make informed decisions and have always felt the space is comfortable (& comforting when in crisis!) for us to have open conversations/discussions on various topics (so helpful for first time parents!) I am a clinic assistant manager of a family practice in Aurora CO and deal with pediatric clinics every day and have never experienced the level of unprofessionalism and terrible attitudes as I have here, but I just had to warn people who care about reviews (because when it comes to your children you should) do not bring your children here. if they treat the parents this way imagine how your children will be treated. I was extremely polite the phone calls are recorded but because Jen(a co-owner) is friends with her "co-owner" (who's name they refused to give, who clearly is very upset with working in her line of work and should choose a different career) she would not listen to the call. Please let me save you the time, do NOT go to this clinic. We have to be very selective when it comes to people who treat our children and these are not people you want handling any kind of care regarding your kids, I promise. They will laugh at you, be extremely rude because they do not like their jobs for absolutely no reason and condescending as well. Horrible experience. -100/10. Find a different clinic for yours and your child's sake.

She had to get 4 shots and a heel prick and barely flinched. They were so gentle with her. They both had amazing bedside (in this case living room floor) manner. They played with her while they gave her a detailed physical and offered me great input on feeding and sleeping. Absolutely a fantastic experience. So so so excited about this office!

I am very grateful that my children are no longer patients here. I will say that it has been years…read moresince my children were seen here and I hope that the practice has changed it's policy, but we we're dismissed as patients for refusing to have our child receive ALL of the vaccines on the childhood recommended schedule. I still find this utterly appalling and want other parents to be aware of how our family was treated by this practice.
