Showers need to have grout cleaned and maybe tile that isn't cracked

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZTdGUrKMg/?k=1 I would not recommend this place. They said our RV was too old to stay an extra night, but the facilities are worse than any of the other places we've stayed. They are older than our RV. Do not recommend

Don't stay here if you don't have 4WD! We were passing threw and were happy they had an opening last minute. But after arriving we realized why. The park is so tightly cramped and laid out in weird winding, narrow, gravel and hilly roads it was very unsafe. The park had us go down a marked one way, the wrong way, because that was the only way you could back into the sight they assigned us. We arrive after the sun went down and the park was hard to navigate, we were lost at first. An employee passed us on a golf cart and we tried to ask where we were in the park and how come we were directed to go down a one way incorrectly, without slowing down, he fussed, "I'm off the clock," and then sped up. In the morning we noticed that most sights were so tight and the trees were not cut back that most RVs could not use their awnings and for some, their slide outs. Please do not arrive in the dark!

We made reservations months in advance. Our site was too small for our rig and they wouldn't let us switch even though they had larger sites that were unoccupied and unreserved. Trees blocked our popouts. The sewer hookup was in the wrong place. The site wasn't remotely flat or level and ended up breaking two of our camper's jacks. They advertise wifi but you couldn't connect to it from our site, and we were within sight of the clubhouse. The bathrooms and showers are dirty and small. We kept getting different messages from different employees. One said our small pop up was fine, another said we had to pay extra for it. One said we could park on a shoulder, the other said we couldn't. The camp map looks lush and green but there's hardly any grass. It's almost entirely dirt, which is not fun when you have two dogs with you. Here's the thing. Almost all of these things would have been water under the bridge if the management had any customer service skills. Instead of working with us, they corrected and scolded us. Seems like the customer's always wrong at Colorado Heights.

I love this place. People who run it are amazing people. Some of the sites are tight for larger rv's, but the atmosphere and family environment is well worth the effort. Pond, nature trail, game room, putt putt golf, and shuffleboard make for a great family experience.

Pretty campground with Cheap, easy RV dump for non-campers. Friendly staff; well-stocked camp store. Easy on/off from I25.

My husband and I had this campground recommended to us by a very helpful woman at the Colorado welcome center at Burlington.

One positive is that our room was excellent--it was extremely clean, spacious enough to comfortably accommodate six people, and offered a wonderful view. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, everything functioned as expected, and the environment was quiet. My only concern with the room, was the room temperature. We found it difficult to keep it consistent, as it was either too hot or too cold. I believe this may be due to a lack of vents in the room. Most importantly, the numerous unauthorized charges and "authorizations" placed on my debit card without prior notice is extremely concerning. These fees were not mentioned during the reservation process, at check-in, or on your website. Furthermore, the amount of incorrect charges is staggering. Dealing with these errors from check-in through check-out has been exhausting, especially since the staff was unhelpful in resolving them. The refusal to provide a complete, chronological invoice is unacceptable. The dining experience was also poor. Aside from the pizza, the food was of low quality; we paid $70 for cold burgers and fries, and the breakfast buffet was bland with lukewarm milk and juice. We also avoided the Watering Hole after being warned by other guests about the warm beverages. The dining credits were not at all worth it. Finally, while the housekeeping staff, the staff at the arcade, the pool measuring station, and Build-A-Bear were friendly, the majority of the staff were not. The male team member at MagiQuest seemed easily flustered and communicated too quickly for guests to follow. Despite the almost $200 we spent on magi-quest wands, we do not plan to return, even for a day pass. I hope you address these systemic issues with your billing transparency and hospitality standards.

The attention to detail is evident from the moment you walk through the front door, particularly in the hotel's decor, restaurants, bars, and especially the guest rooms. Everything is very well done. General Manager Curtis Bova and Director of Restaurants, Bars, and Events Ken Butler deserve a special shout-out for their fantastic staff. The service from Reyna at the Thunderbird Bar, as well as Ruth and Sarah at Pamela's Restaurant, was outstanding; they were both outgoing and delightful. Additionally, Soufi at the spa was incredibly helpful and welcoming.

There are a lot of hotel amenities and fun lawn games out on the back patio area. The price was steep for what we got, but if you can afford this hotel, I would say overall it's worth it. Our room was clean and spacious with super large windows. We were there for Mother's Day weekend and ate brunch the morning of. They had quite a variety, but it wasn't anything spectacular. Food was still a bit cold. Cheeses, meats, fruits still looked like it had been sitting out a bit, and flavors were lacking. They had a prime rib station with horseradish sauce and au jus. Unfortunately, the au jus was a very thick gloopy gravy--borderline a solid. The price tag for brunch was super expensive, and definitely not worth it. At one point my coat had fallen while we were packing up the car. It had my gloves and wallet in the pockets. Luckily, the housekeeping staff had turned it in with everything in tact and held at the front counter for us. That was a great bit of service.

Since I'm retired Coast Guard I called for space A and they had availability. I immediately booked it and was glad I did. First of all the grounds are beautiful and the man who checked us in was very professional. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi works great. Our bed was a comfy single queen. They have TV, small fridge, microwave, large closets and a nice cushy chair. Each room had a safe that can operate by using your room key card. Laundry is available (no cost for the machines) and they have a small fitness room, which most military lodges don't so I didn't have to go to the gym. They have walking and biking trails nearby. Watch for the wild turkeys) and a nice outdoor area to sit in and it's very nicely manicured. BX, commissary and golf course very close. Within walking distance there's a nice outdoor memorial complete with pavilion. There's an outdoor recreational center where you can rent equipment and if you get the chance try the awesome horseback riding! Next door to the lodge is the Falcon Club where you can get food (limited hours). You might think going through security is a pain but with proper ID it was no problem. My wife and I were very happy to stay here after our awful experience in town. Cost was about $65 a nite for 2. A great place for a nice, quiet and restful stay.
