Tidbit! Show up on a Sunday and you might leave with a new top. I was delightfully surprised when I…read morehad walked in early to wait for a friend was greeted by the girl running the clothing swap. Feels like this spot may always have something jiving! My friend and I arrived with laptops and left them closed. The whole place has an Elle Woods sleepover energy: pink-adjacent, unapologetically cozy, a little magical. We enjoyed our treats, caught up and people watched. And yes these are treats. There may be alcohol at other times; we were just there for coffee and tea, and the specials leaned floral. I had something built around orange blossom that drifted between citrus and honeysuckle, delicate enough to feel like a mood rather than a flavor. Lovely, if not exactly life-changing. But that's the point: Hello Darling pulls you in with its aesthetic and keeps you with its comfy, cozy seats. Definitely equally suited to a solo work session or a two-hour gossip spiral that was supposed to be a work session! Come for the drinks, stay because you forgot you had somewhere else to be.

There was only one bartender, but he was friendly and attentive and came over to our table quickly. The espresso martini I ordered was a nine out of 10 - very tasty but had a strong vodka taste (which tells me it was probably very cheap vodka). The other cocktail was a Manhattan and it was not served with an ice cube instead it was only watered down. Probably wouldn't order that again. Overall, the space was cute and comfy, and I'd like to stop back in and try a coffee sometime

I'd go back if a friend really wanted to go and we could sit at the bar, otherwise I was unimpressed with my experience there. 1. The decor/vibes are elegant and classy, but the staff aggressively ask for IDs at the door like bouncers instead of just asking at the time of ordering like a nice bar. Also the paper towels in the bathroom are the cheapest I've ever seen, not matching the facade of the place. They also make you pour your own water, just not elevated service considering the elevated appearance of the place. 2. Someone in my group called ahead the previous week to ask about a reservation accommodating 7 people since they only have reservations for up to 6 available online. When other people in the group arrived, the hostess/waitress was very resistant to us explaining our phone reservation and made us stand there at the front door to discuss instead of just letting us sit in the very empty seating area. After a few minutes of this, they finally let us sit in the wide open area for "an hour" until their actual reservation 1:45 after our arrival. The seating areas were small, so it makes sense they don't offer reservations for 7+, but then their employee shouldn't have told us on the phone that it'd be okay. 3. We watched them turn away a group with a silent infant because it wasn't 21, which just seemed odd. At the end they did bring our group cute cava shots, but I don't feel like that made up for the unwelcoming attitude of the staff.

Tidbit!!! The Dirty Martini Bucatini is the anchor of the menu at the spirited sister restaurant of…read moreOdie B's. Loved the perfectly chewy ropes of bucatini tangled with crumbled blue cheese, Castelvetrano olives -- and vodka sauce? This should've been a weird disaster, but wound up being our table's favorite dish. Every dish is a commitment to the genuinely unexpected. There was something delightfully more than just salt, pepper and fry behind the eggroll-sized mozarella sticks. Then there was the fig gelato, flanked by warm pear -- and oh my gosh, the apple tart! We had to go back and reread the menu to realize that the caramel really was spicy! This kitchen really finds the funky note in a dish and leans into it. Come ready to share. Every item comes in a "single" and a "mingle" size, which was great for our table of four. We would order 1-2 mingle-sized items, pass them around, and argue about who gets the last forkful. The rough edge is perhaps the service, but this spot is new and finding its rhythm. We found the handoff between counter and floor to be clunky, since it felt like pressure to order in order to be seated, not to order drinks and wait for a table. Maybe this works in a larger space. Maybe they just need to smooth out the flow. Either way, the people are sweet, and the food delicious.

You can tell they made an effort on interior decorations…read more Handful of tables and bar seating Overall impression: TINY portions on TINY plates but big prices Big mozarella stick: not actually that big. like 6 inches but fatter than normal. Over fried. Gave us tiny plates so crumbs went everywhere Braised beef pasta: super weird flavor. tangy mustard mushroom sauce. 3 tiny pieces of braised beef. tiny portion Duck pasta: I thought I was eating mac and cheese; I don't even know what the actual name was and kept calling it mac and cheese. Tasted like basic mac and cheese with breadcrumbs. I think we had 4 tiny pieces of shredded duck overall. TINY portion. Overall not a happy customer. $20 for an appetizer portion of pasta that is nothing special.

Need to add that service was incredible. Chef James, Brandon, and Billy wowed us and felt like friends by the end. We're also picky about restaurant lighting (LOL), and the lighting & vibe were perfection. Going back ASAP!

It was pretty busy on a Friday night, but we were told that a few customers did not show for their reservation so we lucked out. The hostess was friendly and gave us the option of a booth or the bar. We chose the bar. Corsica has almost what I would call a modernized vintage decor, with high ceilings, brick walls, and interesting light fixtures. It was kind of a stylish warehouse. Upon being seated, we were greeted right away by the bartender who took our drink orders. I chose the Wolfpack, a salty and sweet bourbon cocktail, and my friend chose the Tiki Baby, a tequila cocktail with fruit flavors. Both were delicious and meticulously made. We ordered about four tapas to start with. They honestly came out almost too quickly, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but they came out even before out cocktails were prepared. They did get one of our items wrong, but corrected it by allowing us to keep it at no charge. The food was great, but I liked some items more than others. The stuffed dates were probably my favorite. I was slightly disappointed in the caulini, as it is wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked. Despite the food coming out quickly, we didn't feel rushed at all. We sat for a long time, and ordered more drinks, and a couple more tapas. I felt very European, as we ended out meal with wine and cheese. All in all, I very much enjoyed my meal at Corsica and would definitely go again.

We were seated at the front by the window, which was nice. It did get a little hot in the restaurant as more people arrived, since it has been unusually warm in Denver this season. We split six plates and were stuffed by the time the celebratory dessert arrived. We started with the burrata, which paired well with apple butter and pickled apples. The arancini was a fusion of Indian spiced cauliflower with mint-cilantro yogurt raita. My favorite of the Spuntini dishes was the Granchio--jumbo lump crab served over a crispy potato cake with butternut squash and a perfect 63 ° egg. We split two Primi dishes: their special of the day pasta, and the Cappellini Aglio e Olio. The Cappellini was amazing--a perfect blend of Indian spices, breadcrumbs, and another 63 ° egg. Yum. If you love scallops, the Capesante dish is not to be missed. These were some of the sweetest, perfectly prepared scallops I have had.
