My friends and I stopped in for lunch after the Denver Botanical Garden. We were able to find street parking right out front. It was not too busy midday, no need for a resy. Its cutely decorated. We walked in and were greeted pleasantly by Ayana (sp). Its actually a pretty large place. Lots of outdoor seating, a second room probably for events, and the main seating area. There's even a counter where you can buy items from there kitchen. I also noted a calender of events. They had a live music night, cool. Food - I had the Cesar salad. It didn't even need protein. It was the perfect size for lunch portion, not too heavy. My friends ordered the exact same but with different proteins. One said it was slightly over salted. But I was fine with it. I also got to try a bite of the feta dip they ordered, which comes cold, but is quite tasty. And a bite of the truffle fondue, which is wonderful. I only wish it came with a tray of veggies instead of carbs, but that's not there fault. Service - Ayana did it all. She was the busser, server, bartender, and hostess. Talk about double duty. She chatted with us a little after out meal. Had a nice warm smile, provided good service. I enjoyed myself, I'm sure this business will continue to do well.

Patio was great for people watching, petting dogs, and catching a tan. Love that they had a wine flight with both white and red. The bottle and board in the happy hour = solid deal with delicious honey, cheeses, and jam! Our waitress was super friendly and helpful as well!

Carboy Winery offers great service, good food, and some nice wine selections. Our Denver friends are members and huge fans of Carboy. We were here on a Friday evening and the place was full We ordered some charcuterie boards, deviled eggs and the burrata. I absolutely devoured the burrata. It was really good! My husband enjoyed his wine flight, which gave him the opportunity to try 4 different wines. They were all local Grand Junction grown grapes. Carboy has a nice vibe with super friendly staff, so definitely a must as a spot to check out in this area.

I've tried Carboy before when I went to the Rose Summer tasting event a couple years ago but this was my first time trying them as an outing that's not an event. Vibe: we went around 2pm on a Friday (day after thanksgiving) and there was only one other table there. It was a very laid back vibe for sure which we like. Food: we got the seasons of 92 cheese platter. Really good selections! Everything was fresh and we enjoyed it all. The wine and seltzers we tried were all very good! Service: pretty good! Ayana was super Friendly and knowledgeable!

Another great time at Carboy. We went to pick up our wine club order and some lunch while we were there. My husband ordered the lamb French dip which he enjoyed even though the au jus was overly salty. The mixed greens side was a big hit with the sandwich. I ordered the burrata and was very happy! It was well balanced with the different flavors and the olive oil was perfect! Of course, I had to order a glass of wine since we were there to pick up our wine order. I chose the Red Blend (Horse Heaven Hills) and it was a great pairing with the greens and burrata (and bred of course). We are happy to support this local winery and the food and service is always wonderful! The location is great for us and it's such a modern rustic ambiance with service from friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Pretty good winery. Getaway packed and there are a variety of cocktails and wines. I just had a glass of pinto noir and the spinach feta dip winery snack. My buddy got the red wine flight. Overall all was good and ita a cute little spot across from Trader Joe's. They host some good specials and I would love to come back and try more of their menu. Great stop in when in Logan street and they have parking lot parking which is very nice.

This place is a total vibe!! Huge patio area, right in Cap Hill, with amazing bites and wines! Their happy hour is great, wine/board deals, along with their quarterly wine club! Highly recommend for happy hour or date night!

This has been such a great neighborhood go-to. I had not been in a bit and there were some amazing new menu items. The Deviled Eggs, Baked Goat Cheese, and Peppers were delicious and gluten free! I love their patio on nice days as does Ace The Restaurant Dog. Kelly who was our server treated as like a king. I can't wait for our next patio date!

So I just got back from lunch with a friend. Carboy has a patio and dine in. At 11:00 am we were the first one. Simple decor and the bar area. The two and four tops were located along the front of the bar. Eagles eye view of their promising bar! Guess what? I totally forgot to take photos of the bar. I haven't talked to this friend in a while I got excited! We tried their Meatballs and their charcuterie board. Both were good! The meatballs were yummy! Service was great.

I randomly stopped in here with a group of six on a Saturday evening and they had no trouble seating us. Our servers were great. They said they don't do separate checks, but our server accommodated us. I got the wine flight and really enjoyed it.

My only complaint is that the charcuterie board really didn't seem to have enough meat or cheese for sharing.

Let's start with the size of bathroom 1 stall 1 urinal for a place this size is ridiculous.Guys stacked inside all waiting to use bathroom . Next we were sat outside by the flower box. There were dead flies floating in my glass of water, I asked for a new glass which was given immediately. The plate for the oil had to be asked to be replaced as well because there was dirt and facial hair on it. That was also replaced and after pouring the oil on new plate we clearly see and took a picture of more hair in the oil. The flies were out of control the whole time constantly swatting at them. Yellow jacket wasps flying around the flowers which is probably causing more bugs i recommend fake flowers or any attempt to decrease them. The flowers were also watered twice by I belive a manager mid aged male who splashed my fiance both times with water has he did not water them carefully he was flinging the last of water out of can nd got her both times. He was not mindful of her being litterally 1 ft away and she made it very obvious in her reaction both times just careless. The new york strip had to be re done as we asked for it to be with out horseradish it came with it on anyway and medium rare . Cooking style was never asked nd shouldn't be assumed to be rare at all especially when its not listed on menu that way. I personally refused to order anything and only stayed because my fiance didn't want to waste the trip. This whole experience felt like anything but classy. Will never return.

Four stars because service started off rocky. I came in right behind a table of four and while…read morethey were sat immediately, the staff member walked off and I stood there for at least another five minutes without being acknowledged. Then when he did acknowledge me and I stated I would sit at the bar, it took several minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. The staff was busy speaking to each other and doing side work. Once I was acknowledged, things started getting a little better. When I arrived during breakfast/brunch, I was informed they were in the middle of a menu change, so my choices were limited. Breakfast items include bacon and burritos. I started off with a charcuterie board (though I had asked for a fromage board). This was not only because I wanted some tasty cheese, but I was trying to kill time until the lunch/dinner menu started. The board was a great board, two different meats, three cheeses, a loaf of bread, some nuts and jellies. But it was 40 dollars! I had a few small plates (which was still a lot of food). I had a melon and cucumber salad, which was a good palate cleanser. I also had the roasted king mushrooms, which were underwhelming with no seasoning, and they were a little chewy. The best thing was the wild boar meatballs, which were seasoned really well and in a savory, delicious marinara sauce. All the cocktails were fruity (but not sweet) and refreshing. I had one that was carrot based (Kiss my Carrot with tequila, cointreau, carrot, orange, and ginger), one that had pineapple flavor (paper boat with rum, falernum, aperol, lemon, pineapple), and the smoky smoke and flower (hibiscus mezcal, cointreau, pama, rose water). This spot is a winery, so they have a large wine list. They have handhelds like burgers and flatbreads. Starters like artichoke dip and bruschetta. Some of the current entrees, which might change, are hanger steak, chilean salmon, cauliflower steak. They had a gnocchi dish I was interested in, but it's already been removed from the menu. The restaurant is classy and just like a winery is expected to be. The food is pretty good. But the service was really subpar.

My ex and I joined the Growler of the Month Club at Bigsby's back in 2020, during our first visit…read morethat summer. We loved the ambiance, feeling like we'd really discovered a gem off the beaten track, pun intended. By joining the club, it was a monthly excuse to plan a special night out to what became one of our favorite places for date night. It's been a couple of years now, but we had occassion to meet the owners, when we mistook their closing time for an hour later. The lights were still on, so we didn't realize our mistake, until they'd already invited us in to exchange our monthly growler with such warmth. Super nice people, reflecting the vibe we always felt on our other visits. The staff echoes that disposition, always friendly and knowledgeable. Though the winery isn't on-site, I've always been impressed with their tasting experience. I've now been a member for over 5 years, going in at least once a month, and they still suggest trying seasonal options and have broadened my palette... Though my ex and I have parted ways for a long while now and he moved away, he's kept our membership current, calling it my "alimony," and a nod to remembering the good times we had together. I recommend Bigsby's for all the good memories for all the folks, be it a lazy summer afternoon on the patio or a cozy evening in the lounge area with a glass of red when it's cold outside!
