The cutest neighborhood wine bar ever!! I have been going here since 2018 or so. This place does not disappoint! Our lovely person, Kassey was so kind and sweet, almost as sweet as the prosecco we ordered. ;) The cheese plate is so mouth watering and the bread made my European husband, want more to go. Each cheese told a different story but also blended so well bite after bite. The cava wine was the perfect balance of sweet and dry. Next time, I will do the bubbles flight. I can't wait to spend more evenings here and people watch. The vibes are 15/10. I remember when it was 2 doors down and LOVE that this place is still thriving. *CELIAC / GLUTEN FREE REVIEW I had a great experience here! The venue and staff are wonderful, and there are tons of small plate GF options. They do have a seperate allergen menu for GF, vegan, etc - and when I asked about preparation they told me they can wipe everything down, switch gloves, and use a new cutting board for the cheese. ADORABLE! I love it when a business commits to a theme-and a floral theme it is. In addition to the exquisite decor, Sienna offers a huge menu of assorted wines from all over the place-the menu is expansive and is huge-literally it's jumbo sized! Sienna also offers small plates of deliciousness. I ordered an individual cheese plate from the Happy Hour menu. This was a perfect little snack for $6. I opted for the goat cheese with Belgian honey. It's was very, very good. Happy Hour menu for the win by the way. They also have a seasonal menu as well- so many options!! We arrived at Sienna's a little after 4:15 and by 4:45, the place was filled up. Service was a little slower as a result but that's to be expected. A great business to patronize. read more

We had a long wait for our table to be ready across the street so we stopped in to Sienna to grab a drink while we waited. We were greeted right away when we walked in and told to sit wherever we would like. we sat at the bar and I ran to the restroom while my husband stayed at the bar. I came back and ton of water was all over the bar and all over my husband. I joked that I can't leave him anywhere and that he always causes a mess, but then the server apologized that she spilled the pitcher all over the bar and on to my husband. Pretty funny. I totally would have blamed him. It happens and at least it was just water. Lol We looked over the menu and I got their holiday white wine flight and my husband got the mulled wine. Everything tasted great. He had enough time for a second drink since my flight was actually poured heavier than I anticipated with a wine flight, so he got a glass of chianti, which he loved. We also had a light bite since we had time before dinner and got the Capra Honey goat cheese with crackers. It was amazing!! Overall cute place. Happy Hour runs 3-6 pm daily, all day on Sunday. The Vinho Verde was a lovely, crisp white. They also serve beer and non-alcoholic beverages. The place filled up quickly after 5:00 pm, and that is when service began to slow down a bit. However, additional servers started their shift at that time to accommodate the surge. It is a decent little area in the neighborhood and it is a nice place to go out. This is the second time we are here, and both times, we have been here for drinks. The initial visit was on the week when it was quite quiet and it was a casual place to relax. The second time we took a trip there was on a Saturday night, and the atmosphere was certainly more lively, however, the service was slowed down somewhat by the crowd. The wine flights are a good option large servings that can be shared in case one is in a group. A tip: they are a decent size, so it may be good to invite a couple of friends to have them with you. The non-alcoholic beverage that claimed to be similar to an Aperol spritz was also very refreshing and it went down the right when I had it twice. The mini size is in reality a good size portion which was a pleasant surprise. On the whole, it is a good place to have a drink and relax, and I would suggest it as a low-key-event. Our afternoon here started out lovely but ended on a rather sour note, so thus the reason for three stars. The good: they have a solid menu of both wine and food and a decent happy hour with what amounts to be about a dollar off their cheapest glasses of wine. They also have another little menu that offers more curated experiences like wine.flights and such. Such a great idea. We sipped on their happy hour tempranillo and then did a rosé flight as well as a couple of glasses of one of the roses featured in the flight. Were they the best of either we've had? No. But they were decently solid and were great for an afternoon of sipping. We had two servers. The first was a gentleman, and he was lovely! So friendly, so upbeat, and he had absolutely impeccable timing, knowing just when it was time to come over and check on us and refill our glasses. Now for the bad... The bad: what ruined the afternoon was our final server, this young lady who brought us our check. The rosé was priced at $10 instead of the $9 listed on the menu. I brought it to her attention and she got an attitude. When she came back she said very flippantly, "here's your dollar off!" Perhaps it was my facial expression or my beginning to comment where she sort of backtracked and hedged with "Well, you know in today's economy a dollar is a dollar" or something like that. First and last folks, I could give two craps whether it was a dollar or $0.50 or $0.10. If you're telling me the cost of something on a menu I expect that price and I expect my receipt to be updated if you've overcharged me even by a little bit. All she had to do was take the receipt and say no problem and update it. She doesn't even really have to speak for all I care. She essentially made fun of me for wanting the right price on my receipt. I can absolutely acknowledge. It was likely just an honest mistake. But even with that, I don't need attitude for wanting the right price. I really hate that we had this experience. It came highly recommended by a friend. And it's such a cute place and such a great location. We were hoping it would be a sort of go-to when we want. Just a good glass of wine. Maybe we'll come back? I can accept that this was likely an isolated incident. But I'm left feeling put off for sure. read more

We started our afternoon at this spot with high hopes, and it really delivered at first - but unfortunately, the visit ended on a sour note. The wine and food menu is ok. Prices are a little high but we were excited to dive in. We were there for happy hour at $1 off their lowest priced glasses. We enjoyed a happy hour Tempranillo, a rosé flight, and a two extra glasses of Tempranillo. Tempranillo was good but only one of the rosés were a bit disappointing. Our first server was excellent--friendly, attentive, and had impeccable timing with check-ins and refills. Where things took a turn was with the last server who brought our check. One rosé was priced at $10 instead of the $9 listed on the menu. When she brought the corrected bill back her comment was, "here is your dollar discount." I don't think paying the price on the menu is a discount. Mistakes happen, but it's a small thing to fix without making the customer feel uncomfortable. It's a spot with a great location, and we had been excited to make it a go-to for casual wine afternoons as recommended by a friend, but not sure we will be back. read more

This is such a delightful neighborhood spot. We've been twice now only for drinks. Once, it was a weeknight and was pretty empty. It felt like a great spot to read a book or get some work done. The second time was a Saturday night and the place was poppin! We were still able to grab a table, but the service was a bit slower. The wine flights are BIG POURS! We love this, and also plan accordingly. Like maybe bring 2 extra friends to share a flight with you. Both times I got the non alcoholic drink that says it tastes like a aperol spritz, it had kind of an Italian name. I got the mini size which was definitely a normal size drink (again, love this), and it was DELICIOUS both times. Only one person handling everything it seemed but despite the slower service as result of this, it was still great service and the white wine flight I got and baked Brie I got were delicious. I sat in the outside area since most people were there and also it's a great place to dog and people watch since there's plenty of foot traffic around. Outside area may have dogs that want to sniff you but I find that to be a plus since I love the doggos. Recommend it for a nice little sit down time. read more

sienna wine bar has the most exquisite bathrooms in the history of wine bars. also, a beautiful bar top. you won't have to watch stupid sports on the television. comedy movies and cartoons are a huge improvement. they have happy hour every day from 3-6. i had the orange moscat wine and a peroni beer. my partner had delicious pinot noir. we ate organic bruschetta, a crisp salad with feta, blueberries, and spanish almonds. also, wild mushroom risotto puffs with artichoke dipping sauce. this is a wonderful neighborhood establishment filled with happy patrons, and thoughtful employees. it was a memorable experience, that will be added to our list of regular options. read more

The entire vibe of this place is sooooooo good. The physical building is BEAUTIFUL (check out both bathrooms!) but the staff is so kind and friendly! I really wanted to be able to give them a 5* review, but as so often is the case, the matter comes down to the service. Service: 2*- knowledgeable, enthusiastic, but for the love of all that is good, please make at least cursory eye contact as you walk down the short length of the restaurant and back. More to follow. Wine: incredible, delicious, broad and deep selection, fantastic flights. Food: baked brie was delightful, though the dish containing said brie does come straight from the oven and can be extremely hot (sizzling strawberry hot!) Ambiance: lovely, not too loud, not too wild even when it got crowded; seating options are various and we were fortunate to be on the love seat. Very fun. Denver has a problem with service. I moved back to my hometown and it seems like everyone's taken to narcoleptic and blissful unawareness of their surroundings. And this amid a challenging hiring workers, amid a pandemic, amid à time when everyone needs to protect what they have! And sadly, Sienna's service was on par with the norm for the Denver current situation. We arrived around 6:30p. It was not busy. The server came over relatively promptly to greet us, which was lovely. And then he turned into a ghost and was flitting about, nigh impossible to track down or engage in any meaningful way save by conversational force. He passed by us at least 10 times down and back (we were seated midway down the short restaurant along the wall and along the long axis of the space). Each time I looked directly at.... the side of his head as he focused like a laser beam on looking directly in front of him the entire time. Multiple times he was within 2 feet of us as he spoke with the table either to our right or to our left, but he never once just darted his eyes over to us to see if perhaps we were trying to engage with him. Which we were! And yet nothing. And this punctuated by trips to look at his phone right at the end of the bar. Finally we flagged him down and ordered our flights. He brought them and gave a truly wonderful description of each wine. We asked about food as he stood up promptly to walk away. He knows his stuff. But he doesn't pay attention. I'd finished one of my three glasses in my flight and he walked by, literally did not slow down, grabbed the glass, and was about to be off again. I spoke loudly enough to ask him "I was wondering if I could get please..." and he returned. As soon as I'd finished articulating the desired wine, he was up and off again. I yet again slowed him down in order to ask for the the baked brie (divine), which he managed to hear as he was actively again walking away. The entire experience makes me sad, in the end. I've been a server, à bartender, I've owned a brewery, a bar, and I've loved all of it. Doing the job well requires knowledge, which the gentleman has in spades, but it also requires attention being cast very occasionally in the direction of the patrons. I didn't need a conversation, just a moment of attention in which we could lock eyes and he could ask "How are you two doing?" - it's quite simple. And it saves time. It saves energy. It keeps people happy. It leads to higher tip rates, more food and alcohol being served. Everyone wins! So why is it so difficult? I always want to tip over 20%. Always. I know the work, it's a bit of a grind sometimes. But it isn't hard to make people feel welcome. And expecting a decent tip while providing less than focused service just seems....demanding? Entitled? Not quite sure. Please make the next time better than this, Sienna. You are so very lovely. All you need is some more attention. read more

Their food menu is a little limited so it's the kind of place you come to for appetizers and then go for a full meal elsewhere. Fortunately there are a lot of options nearby. Good happy hour specials at $6/ glass or you can do a flight of 3 wines for $20 - the pours are legit on the flight. The service was a little slow, especially considering the place wasn't too busy, but it was nice, nonetheless. One complaint I have is almost every server took our glasses without asking - it's a huge pet peeve of mine - yes I want those last two drops of wine I paid for!
