    Holiday White Wine Flight
    Isobel R.

Stopped in on a Thursday evening and, while I didn't try the food this time, I did go for their holiday white wine flight! This was a lovely selection of wines with a great holiday twist. The ambiance was definitely a highlight: warm lighting, relaxed vibe, and the kind of space that makes you want to stay and chat longer. Their happy hour menu had some great-looking selections at very reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back to try the bites next time! Overall, a solid spot for a casual drink, especially if you're into wine and a cozy atmosphere!

Sienna is a casual wine bar with small plates in Congress Park. With its Boho decor of gilded mirrors and statues, stained glass windows, and exposed brick walls, it is easy to sit back, relax, and enjoy a glass or two of wine from their extensive wine selection. Happy Hour runs 3-6 pm daily, all day on Sunday. The Vinho Verde was a lovely, crisp white. They also serve beer and non-alcoholic beverages. The place filled up quickly after 5:00 pm, and that is when service began to slow down a bit. However, additional servers started their shift at that time to accommodate the surge. I did try a bite of my bestie's goat cheese with honey. It was very yummy and sweet, almost like a mini cream cheesecake with the cracker. Definitely a place worth visiting.

Love the vibe of a neighborhood wine bar. We didn't get any food, as we stopped in here for drinks before popping over to Blue Pan. Service was good and the ambiance was eclectic and cozy. My only snobby complaint is I can't handle the thick glass of the wine glasses.

Excellent service, eclectic ambiance and great wine and accompaniments. The wild mushroom bites were delicious and the cheese plate was generous. We ordered an additional ciabatta with butter, olive oil and balsamic. The bread is served hot and crispy from the oven. This is a fun and cozy neighborhood spot. It was loud with conversation and happy faces.

Came at an interesting time. Only one person handling everything it seemed but despite the slower service as result of this, it was still great service and the white wine flight I got and baked Brie I got were delicious. I sat in the outside area since most people were there and also it's a great place to dog and people watch since there's plenty of foot traffic around. Outside area may have dogs that want to sniff you but I find that to be a plus since I love the doggos. Recommend it for a nice little sit down time.

This place is always popping! They have a good selection of wines. The bruschetta is a must and I order each every time.

Ask the Community - Sienna Wine Bar & Small Plates

Is it kid friendly? It says yes in the info, but I've walked by and it looks so cozy- it seems like people would be pissed if I brought my daughters in. That said, I love wine! And my kids are quiet. So I'd love to know if kids are really ok!

I would say kiddos would be bored.

Then when he did acknowledge me and I stated I would sit at the bar, it took several minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. The staff was busy speaking to each other and doing side work. Once I was acknowledged, things started getting a little better. When I arrived during breakfast/brunch, I was informed they were in the middle of a menu change, so my choices were limited. Breakfast items include bacon and burritos. I started off with a charcuterie board (though I had asked for a fromage board). This was not only because I wanted some tasty cheese, but I was trying to kill time until the lunch/dinner menu started. The board was a great board, two different meats, three cheeses, a loaf of bread, some nuts and jellies. But it was 40 dollars! I had a few small plates (which was still a lot of food). I had a melon and cucumber salad, which was a good palate cleanser. I also had the roasted king mushrooms, which were underwhelming with no seasoning, and they were a little chewy. The best thing was the wild boar meatballs, which were seasoned really well and in a savory, delicious marinara sauce. All the cocktails were fruity (but not sweet) and refreshing. I had one that was carrot based (Kiss my Carrot with tequila, cointreau, carrot, orange, and ginger), one that had pineapple flavor (paper boat with rum, falernum, aperol, lemon, pineapple), and the smoky smoke and flower (hibiscus mezcal, cointreau, pama, rose water). This spot is a winery, so they have a large wine list. They have handhelds like burgers and flatbreads. Starters like artichoke dip and bruschetta. Some of the current entrees, which might change, are hanger steak, chilean salmon, cauliflower steak. They had a gnocchi dish I was interested in, but it's already been removed from the menu. The restaurant is classy and just like a winery is expected to be. The food is pretty good. But the service was really subpar.

There is no wonder why this vineyard's current rating is near perfect. From the ambience to great…read moreservice to unique wines to affordable food menu prices, my experience with this place almost 3 months ago was quite mesmerizing. Although I had waited this long to write about the place, everything I experienced back then still lingers in my brain. Hence, I am taking the time to write about it. I was going to utilize the "stand up bar tasting of however many wines you can sample" at the price of $20. Unfortunately, the bar was full for that. I was thus kindly asked to get a table and do a flight at the price of $10. What? Only $10? Sure, why not!?!? My waiter (young man in his 20's) was most welcoming and kind-hearted. I forgot his name after the passing of the time. His attentiveness was top-notch. After getting a few suggestions and advice from my wonderful waiter, I went with Roussanne and Orange Muscat as white, Malbec, Carignon and Cabernet Sauvignon as red for my wine flight. Let's not forget to mention. Balistreri's wines are all natural Colorado wines with no sulfites, no additives and are not filtered or fined. What's not to like about all that criteria that they can offer. For food, I got the cheese board ($18 as of May 2026.) I looked at other menu items and the prices for them were quite reasonable despite the fact that this place emits very high-end restaurant feel. After all, this is a family-run business that cares about serving people in the community. I feel that this is their way to say thank you to those who support them. In a neighborhood where three different interstates intertwine, unless someone told you about it, you wouldn't think such a place existed in this North Washington neighborhood. I discovered this place while ago. I am not sure why I had waited this long to visit and see it for myself. Better late than never. Palisade is a gem in the western Colorado but it's at least 4-hour drive from Denver. If you want to save some time and spend some quality time at a winery in a beautiful setting, Balistreri is within your reach.
