Terrible experience with Castle Rock GI. If you want to pay $$$$$$ on expensive tests they are…read morehappy to order them but then you get NO ANSWERS. No follow up after colonoscopy/endoscopy. They did not upload the results of my medical scans into the portal, they "scheduled" me for an appointment then told me the appointment was never scheduled, after waiting for 3+ months for medical follow up and being very ill. Thousands of dollars spent in medical bills for expensive tests and no results, no appointments, no follow up, no apology. Worst medical experience ever. Dr. Chun is probably a great doctor but I would barely know because I hardly was able to get in with her despite numerous attempts to get an appointment.

On March 2nd I got knocked down with an acute stomach/esophagus issue that was scary as hell. I was…read morein a lot of pain and had a family history that made the issue much more real and urgent. I called every Gastroenterologist in Denver Metro and I couldn't even get an first visit until the 16th. I finally called down to Centura Gastroenterology Castle Rock, gave them my sob story, and got me in to see Dr. Welton immediately. Dr. Welton is the most empathetic yet direct, straight-shooter doctor I've ever seen. He sent me home with a script and scheduled a procedure to look at my gut/throat just for peace of mind on the 16th. After a day, my symptoms got much worse and I called Dr. Welton and told him how much pain I was in and he reworked his entire schedule to get my procedure moved up to March 4th so he could find out what's going on. Long story, short, I am ok and Dr. Welton has me on a plan for managing my health. He performed my operation to perfection and I had zero pain post-op, and my health got better after one day. Dr. Welton is worth the drive if you want to see a Gastroenterologist who knows that stuff and has a warm and confident heart to boot. Thank-you Dr. Welton!
