This doctor failed to provide me with extremely important information regarding the results of a…read morebiopsy-including that I have a precancerous condition and the proper treatment and lifestyle changes that I need to make. I don't know if it's because I am a woman, because I am poor, because I am disabled, because I am tattooed, or just because I somehow rub him the wrong way-&, that isn't important. What's important is that everything I have learned about my condition is from the internet and from someone I met yesterday-4 months after my biopsy-& that I have not made the appropriate lifestyle changes and am not on the best medication because he wasn't prepared for our follow up appointment, because he didn't make sure I was informed of the results in a manner that guaranteed timely delivery (in fact, it was in a manner I specifically told him I could not guarantee I would receive quickly after the birth of my child), and he never bothered to treat in any way. He treated me for acid reflux, instead. He gets a big, fat "F" and is definitely not a doctor who can be trusted to provide adequate care for the public at large.

Despite this, the doctor was dismissive and did not take the situation seriously. Because my son had a colonoscopy and endoscopy less than a year ago that came back normal, the doctor refused to consider any additional testing or further investigation. No new ideas, no referrals, and no sense of urgency were offered. Given the severity and progression of his symptoms, I expected a more proactive approach to rule out potentially serious underlying causes. When symptoms this significant go unaddressed, it raises real concerns about what could be missed. It was incredibly frustrating and alarming to feel like such severe, ongoing symptoms were being brushed off. Chronic vomiting and significant, unexplained weight loss should never be ignored. I would not recommend this provider if you are looking for a doctor who listens, investigates thoroughly, and takes patient concerns seriously.
