DO NOT GO HERE. I was physically restrained and had my purse taken. Had to call the cops on them. I came in wearing temporary stick-on nails and asked for them removed followed by a classic manicure. The technician who appeared to be the owner used a nail drill on the skin around my nails -- not just once, but after I asked her at least four times to stop and be more careful. She could not remove the fake nails properly and on top of that, cut my real nails. Shr refused to look at my actual nail length, which was clearly visible if she'd let me turn my hand over. Instead she kept yanking my hand back and raising her voice at me. When I finally told her to stop the entire service, she demanded payment, and as I stood up to leave, she grabbed my purse (with my cards and ID inside) and refused to give it back while continuing to yell. A second employee was present and visibly uncomfortable with what was happening, but didn't intervene. When I tried to leave, the owner blocked the door, told me "let's call the cops," and continued to yell and also pulling at my fingers even after I explicitly told her not to touch me. I got out, ran to my car, and locked myself in -- shaken. She followed me outside, and her coworker photographed my license plate. I called the police myself. Officers took my side and warned her about her conduct. She tried to charge $25, well above the going rate for a fake nail removal, and I paid it just to close things out rather than take up more of the officers' time. If you value your safety or your belongings, avoid this salon entirely. read more

I went to the nail salon about four months ago when they completely destroyed my nails and they still aren't right. The girl that did my nails does not speak English she's Hispanic. I don't even know if she has a valid cosmetology license or nail technician license. She's probably actually illegal, she took off my gel nail polish with a drill and drilled my nails so thin that they continue to split to this day right down the middle. Clearly, the state that they don't give refunds back because they have incapable staff working for them. I had also gone one other time to get a nail repaired and I thought I would give them another chance because my nail shipped three days after I had it done while I was there I was the only one in there along with the owner and her staff, she was berating and belittling the staff and speaking to them in such a demeaning way that I was embarrassed. I wouldn't give them any more business just because of that I felt bad for the girl during my nails, so I did go back to her to have them corrected when she literally destroyed them because she doesn't know what she's doing. They excuse that color pop gave me was that she was new. She isn't properly trained to do nails. I would never go back there. I hate this business and I believe that it should close and I think somebody needs to look into the legality if the business is being run correctly example all licenses, up-to-date and legal citizens of the United read more

This is a cute salon, well priced. The services are terrible. I asked for my nails to be reshaped from square to almond- not one nail is the same shape as any other nail. Dip manicure is less than 24 hours old- peeling. After applying the dip she did a gel top and scored it- it looks terrible, you can see the lines. My nail salon was too busy last Saturday so I passed by Colorpops and called to see if they had an opening. They did. I went in at 3:15 and Sophie greeted me. I had one nail very short but instead of mending it she took all my nails down to be very very short. When she grabbed my finger it was too hard. I told her it was hurting me but she ignored me. When she started to use the file it hurt as they were too short. I never had a person so harsh and hurt me all the time. This was my first and last time at Colorpops. I was happy to find a place close to home but this is not the place for me. read more
