So I did a group color analysis a few weeks back in the beginning of March. And due to conflicting work schedules with my friend we reached out to Kate concerning doing a group analysis for a different time that she normally offers and she was very accommodating. She also replied to my emails within a very reasonable amount of time. Our analysis went very well. She took the time to go over the basics in a way that we could digest the information and was very open to questions. She immediately made us feel comfortable and was so lovely to go through this experience with. When we did get a little unsure about certain drapings she took the time to compare with other seasons in order to clarify and show us the differences we couldn't initially see. Kate is fantastic. I had the pleasure of doing a one-on-one color analysis with her in her lovely studio, and found that there was so much I didn't know, despite having watched some videos on the subject before. It was so fascinating to see in real time how different colors in the various seasons reacted to my skin and face, and the time really flew by while I was there. I walked away from this session feeling way more confident knowing what compliments me and what will help me look and feel my best. What I loved is that she encouraged me to train my own eyes while I was there, and it was just enough handholding for someone like me! Kate exceeded my expectations. She is so knowledgeable and her teaching style makes things so easy to understand. She was also very receptive to things I was not seeing and would walk me through them to better understand what was going on since my undertone is neutral. I feel capable to go out and pick colors in my season thanks to her as she was teaching me and allowing me to learn rather than just explaining things to me without allowing things to sink in. I also added the makeup and hair to my appt. But sadly had to leave earlier due to personal errands but she gave me great tips on working with my existing items. Kate is a gem!! I learned so much about colors and light and how they interact with each other and your complexion, which is MUCH more apparent in person. It was such an informative and fun analysis. I can tell she is passionate about color and enjoys seeing her clients light up when the right colors are presented. On top of going into detail of the process and your color season, she provides a take-home pamphlet and detailed report via email after the appointment. She was also able to squeeze me in on a same-day appointment, which was a plus.
