I had to go back home and work and left her in their care but trusted fully and from past experiences, I knew she would be taken care of. My daughter ended up seeing Cristi, and she had such a great experience. She was at the salon for about six hours, and I was worried it was going to be too long, but she had a blast. She watched shows and played games on her iPad, she was offered snacks, and even took a nap as she got her hair washed. Before she knew it, we had returned to pick her up and it was time for the big reveal. They hadn't let her see it until we arrived and she is in love with it. It turned out beautiful, and seeing how happy she was meant everything to me. When I was 16, I used box dye from the store or "Sun in" so being able to give her this experience was really special for me. It also gave me peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands and that her hair was being cared for properly, esp without me being there. Of course, Fox & Belle did an amazing job! Now my 11 year old is already asking when it's her turn. Not anytime soon but when she's ready, I know where exactly where we will be going.

I've now booked another haircut at a different salon because I still don't have the haircut I originally asked for. I completely understand subtle cuts and preserving length, but this did not feel like premium service or a professional result for the price point.

I was really fortunate to work with Nia for my wedding day. At my trial session, Nia took a look at some ideas I had for makeup and hair, and she duplicated them perfectly. Afterwards, she took the time to discuss with me what I liked and what I wanted to change. I loved that she didn't try to push any particular style on me, but she really listened to what I wanted and made sure that I was comfortable with everything. After the trial, I couldn't make up my mind still on what look I wanted, and Nia worked very patiently with me to achieve that perfect look. On the day of my wedding, she traveled to my home in San Francisco (she'll travel pretty much anywhere...), and was on time and professional. She gave me her input and thoughts and we combined what I wanted and her ideas together. She was more than willing to re-do my make-up to try different shades and styles so that I had options to choose from. The day of my wedding, Nia and her crew were very prompt. Nia was awesome! I hired her for my wedding and everything worked smoothly. First I had my trial-- she arrived on time and had everything she needed. The hair and makeup turned out great. I had her come early in the day so that I could see how my hair and makeup would look hours later--and I loved it! I wish she could do it for me everyday. I seriously walked around San Francisco feeling completely glamourous! Needless to say, we hired her the next day for my bridesmaids and I. Months later she was able to recreate the same hair and makeup. Maria did my trial and she literally has transformed the way I do makeup. She showed me what tightlining is, which seriously has given me so much confidence. I never knew why top eyeliner was a struggle for me. No matter how thin the line was, it still took over my eyelid. I have explained this to makeup artists before, but they just continued on with the eyeliner, which made me self-conscious, like one single black line takes up my whole eyelid. Maria explained to me that the shape of my hooded eyelids would benefit from tightlining, which is putting eyeliner on the upper lash line, instead of on top of it. WOW! I feel like a new person. I do it myself now and I just can't believe I never knew about it before. During the trial, I absolutely adored Maria, but I kept falling for her as she was just so respectful. She told me what the next steps were and asked if I'd like to see myself. Other trials felt rushed and I never saw myself until the end. She was so respectful of how I wanted to look: natural and probably even a bit bare as a bride. But she made me look like a better version of my usual self! Leading up to the wedding, Maria checked in and had us send our looks and preferences. I loved this as I was paranoid about not staying on track that day. I loved that she wanted to be so prepared. The wedding was chaotic, we just had a lot of people and unexpected situations arise, like high winds. Maria was patient and never made me feel like, "Hello, we gotta get this show on the road." My friends and I all got so many compliments and it's really more a compliment to Maria and Adrienne and their amazing skills! Last thing I'll say is that Maria also made sure to get some great photos of us! They're the "model" ones in the chair. This was one of my favorite parts and we wouldn't have thought to do them at all! Maria and Adrienne were one of the best vendors I went with for our wedding; I was always so worry-free and I know you will be, too. She locked in my date quickly, accommodated a trial reschedule, and even reworked the timeline to include my mom and mother-in-law when they decided last-minute they wanted makeup too. On the day of the wedding, she was calm, focused, and ready for anything. At one point, my dad came into the bridal suite earlier than expected and immediately teared up -- which, of course, got me crying too. Jasmine had already packed up, but she swooped in without hesitation to do a perfect touch-up just before the ceremony. She also helped me feel emotionally ready. I had a breakout leading up to the wedding, and was feeling really anxious about how I'd look in photos. But Jasmine's expertise (and her very reassuring Instagram reels!) made me feel totally confident. You couldn't even see the hyperpigmentation once she worked her magic. Would you like something to drink? Do you need to go to the bathroom? Happy birthday!" Etc... I had booked an extra 10 minute scalp massage so when I glanced at my watch as I sat in the shampoo bowl I noticed it was 10:03. She shampooed my hair and then lightly layed her index fingers over my forehead (?) then conditioned my hair, rinsed and wrapped a towel around my hair and when I sat up my watch said 10:09 so I figured she had forgot about the massage. We discussed that I wanted big bouncy blow out waves but I stated my hair didn't hold a curl well so it was ok if the curls were a little tighter. She then turned me away from the mirror for about 25 minutes and when she turned me around I had tight Shirley temple-esque curls. I instinctively reached up to touch them and she said offered half heartedly to "run her fingers through my curls" which I stated I could do on my own. When I went to check out, I clarified the extra charge for the scalp massage since it had been so brief and she was clearly irritated, but the other staff person said the charge could be taken off. The sign by the register suggested $12 as a tip if you "liked it " seeing as I DISLIKED it, I added a $10 tip to which she rolled her eyes at me and still included the charge for the "massage" which I awkwardly had to correct a second time. By the time I finally paid I was shaking- I felt so uncomfortable, frustrated and irritated and sad that my birthday was starting out on such a bad note. Needless to say, I won't be back.
