It took several minutes for our server to greet us but once she did she was attentive. If you've never been this is a great place to try gator tail, frog legs and venison. If you're not sure about anyone of those they are an appetizer to try before you get a dinner. We ordered the fried clam strips and frog legs. The clam strips were not rubbery or hard and had a good flavor to them. The frog legs meat fell off the bone and has the flavor of a light flavored fish with the texture of chicken. Most of us ordered the venison dinner that comes with two sides and Josh puppies. The venison was cooked to perfection and quite tender. This is by far the best venison I've ever had! I ordered a house salad and the okra n tomatoes. The gator tail meal was equally good not rubbery or hard. All the food was plentiful. The dessert is the best of all - sour orange pie! Think of key lime pie but made with oranges. It is a seasonal pie and we happen to be there when they had it. That is my absolute favorite dessert and I highly recommend!
