Unfortunately I was in desperate in need of finding a dentist like him that was not just thorough but very honest with all the issues I went in to see him for. I had some work done by previous dentist that was not done like it should have been done. Bridges loose & I mean I could move it around. Another bridge which was done on my upper front that reminded me of a beaver. Dr S planned and has made suggestions that made so much more sense to than any other dentist I had seen in years. Bottom line is so much dental work performed by other dentist had to be redone because of not being done correctly & was causing me pain & discomfort. I have only seen maybe 4 dentist in 20 years and the past 3 years my issues were being patched instead of being done properly. Dr S planned & have fixed half of my problems I came in with. I went to him at the beginning of 2025 & teeth pulled, implants, filling, cleanings & now planning for this 6 teeth bridge in my upper front to be removed. I just can't explain the interest & his passion he has shown me for so many issues since I've been in his care. I am so grateful for him & his staff. His staff is so professional & personnel. I'm greeted with professionalism, no long wait times, back office staff I really like them all, Nora the financial manager has been so on top of the billing of my insurance & lastly office is very clean & organized. I know it sounds unbelievable and it is, you'd have to personally experience it yourself. This office has been 10 minutes from me for years & I stumbled on them & gave them a chance because I had gotten so distrusting of dentist. I have referred several family members & friends to him. All I can say is you won't be disappointed. Most of this rework he has done in the back otherwise I would post pictures. Believe me when he starts the front I will update with before & after.

I called my insurance to confirm that indeed they would pay for it. I then called back and told them, they said they would get a pre-authorization and would call me, never heard from them. The day before my cleaning they called to confirm my appointment and I asked if they got the pre authorization and they said they hadn't submitted it but to go ahead and come in. I told them they had 2 months to get it all they had to do was call them and confirm that the code they were using is indeed covered. They said they had to get the authorization in, which they hadn't yet submitted. I cancelled my appointment and told them that when they got there act together and got the authorization to call me to schedule the appointment. It is now June and they have not called. I will not ever go back there as I have changed dentist.

I am beyond grateful and appreciative of Dr. Philip's time and care for me even though I am not his patient. After seeing my dentist at a different office, I was informed that I needed deep cleaning ASAP. However I was not provided further information. This made me doubt whether my own dentist just wanted me to pay out of pocket for a service that was not necessarily urgent. I wasn't sure what to do and expressed my concerns to my family. My sister suggested that she can ask her friends that are in the dental field which led us to Dr. Philip. Dr. Philip immediately responded to my sister and later even personally called me. He was already home, yet still took time to answer my questions. He even offered me to come over to his clinic for him to give me a proper consultation that I did not receive in my own dental clinic. He provided patient education that I needed and even followed up with me days later to make sure I received my perio charting and provided his professional opinion to help me make my decision. Knowing that Dr. Philip did this for me even though I am not a patient of his, I can imagine the greater care his patients receive. He is a phenomenal example that I wish more dentists exemplified. At this point, the lack of any follow-through leaves me with the impression that the response was primarily for public-facing purposes rather than an indication that meaningful changes would actually be considered. I would have been happy to return had the process been reconsidered, and I remain disappointed that their public response appears to have ended with the response itself.

The dentists are nice and knowledgeable, and I do feel cared for, but it seems to stop with them and doesn't transfer to the front receptionist team. I have had a handful of different services done with this office, and each time they've needed to submit a predetermination, when I call to check on said predetermination- come to find out they haven't submitted it. Some services I have requested, the front receptionist with glasses will just quote me prices without considering my insurance coverage... I understand there's cash paying patients, but in the entirety that I've been coming to this office- I've never requested service without my insurance.
