Not as much decor as the Colton's in Springfield MO, and definitely smaller, but still okay and looked clean. The wife wanted a steak, and I got catfish. I have never seen steak cut into strips. Usually they give you a whole steak, but this looked like really thick cut bacon. My wife said it actually tasted better the second day when she microwaved it. My fish tasted like a white fish not catfish, it was okay; kinda resembled a shake n bake coating.. Our server was amazing! Had it not been for her I would have gave less stars. I think their service is keeping them alive. If they ever lose great servers like the one we had they are gonna be doomed. I won't be returning here. Mediocre food at a premium price. Service was good . Very attentive, however we noticed others being seated were given buckets of peanuts. We didn't necessarily need them but were not even offered. I ordered a $30 filet cooked medium, it came out raw , not rare but raw. She took it back and they threw it back on the grill and brought it again. Still on the rare side but didn't want to wait again so decided to eat it , no taste , very bland . Sweet potato was bad , possibly rotten couldn't tell from cinnamon coating it . The service is excellent. There wasn't a wait for us. The meal size was large. My husband a D. 12 oz Ribeyes Med. Rare with salad and a Sweet potato and I ordered a 12 oz Ribeye Md. rare with a sweet potato with steamed veggies. I never salt anything and I had to salt and pepper everything. My husband even tried the steak sauce which we never use. My steak was tender and juicy, but Both meals were very bland. No frills steakhouse with a western motiff. Service was fine and friendly. Ordered ribs and catfish plate as well as the rib eye. Both were good but nothing exceptional to rave about. I saw a few reviews about bad service and my experience was the exact opposite! We were greeted immediately and seated quickly. Our server was very friendly and checked on us frequently. At one point my daughter asked for another beer in "about 10 minutes ". Server brought it around that time without being reminded. Food was delicious. Steak was cooked as requested. This is based on 2 visits over the past year. It's one of just a few restaurants that are walkable from nearby hotels, which makes it attractive when you don't want to get back on the motorcycle. If you manage your expectations, it can be tolerable. Decent menu with some special combo deals that are a good value--but the food is on the Applebee's, TGIF's level. I wouldn't risk getting steak here. The ribs were ok and the catfish was mostly fine, if not a little dry. Both times we had very friendly, engaging servers so that was a positive. If you need to walk somewhere from your hotel, this isn't a terrible option. If driving is an option, I'm guessing other places in town are better. read more

Went to Colton's, had a 25 min wait, no big deal it was Friday night. Got seated, drink order taken appetizer came out hot and fresh. Waitress asked if we would like ranch. We said yes. Didn't see her again until she was taken another tables order. So forgot the ranch. Never filled up our glasses, when we finally got our food it was cold like the butter wouldn't even melt it was so cold. My steak was overcooked. It was not a particularly busy Thursday night when I came in after a long day of driving. As soon as I was seated at a booth, my server came to receive my drinks order. I wasn't too hungry, but I had to nourish my very tired body, so I opted for my normal steak dinner choice when my drinks arrived with hot rolls. I must say I enjoyed those sweet rolls with sweet cinnamon butter. Food came out fairly quickly (perhaps largely due to no-so-busy dinner hours) which I appreciated it very much. The temperature of my steak was just right. I was hoping it would be a decent cut, and it was very tender. If I would be a little critical, I wanted it to have a little more sear, but at least it wasn't burned. My server frequented my table to check on me. I always appreciate that. Wanted to try Colton's since there's a few around town. Went to Russellville location, restaurant was pretty busy for dinner. Tables were clean . Our waitress was awesome and on top of it. Unfortunately the table next us had poor service and cold food. My Alfredo was alright , honestly it would be better minus the broccoli and to increase the chicken. Portion was large. First, fantastic experience. It's is Friday, June 28th and I am traveling with family from Hot Springs to Rogers. It was our lunch stop and we chose Colton's... my mother's boyfriend is a double amputee and in a wheelchair.. without being told or having to explain they found us a table near the front perfectly set for a wheelchair user. An add on, the hostess and (assuming) manager were very friendly. I personally have an incredibly intense food allergy so I asked our waitress, Nancy (I hope that's right) about how things were cooked. Without hesitation her and cook started making accommodations and explaining how they could cook anything I still wanted. It was so refreshing and made our stay so comfortable... everyone was so great. I definitely recommend this location for anyone that wants to be able to enjoy their meal with a friendly crew and comfortable seating and ambiance. read more

The "smashed potatoes" are just mashed, they seemed to not be made with 'real' potatoes, but typical restaurant box type. The white graver was good, not spicy, but i\i prefer it that way and let me add the pepper. I especially liked the fresh bread and butter, also served with honey. It isn't 'fancy' but the food I had was good, served with a reasonable wait time and the server was both friendly and helpful. We ate at a Colton's in Harrison, AR, last week. The service was excellent. Very timely seating us, took our requests and provided the traditional peanuts to snack on until our meal arrived. The chefs prepared our meal to perfection. We took dessert back to our hotel. Cheese cake with pecans and caramel sauce. We couldn't eat it all and since we were traveling we had to leave some food behind. Beware of the rolls. They are very good! Hard to resist! Only one thing we noticed. We thought we had hit the jackpot. We had eaten at other Colten's in the past and was happy. We are a family of five and we're able to walk right in and sit down in a Friday night. This time we could not have been more disappointed. Service was slow but not the real problem. Appetizers were the cheese sticks and blooming onion came out in a timely manner but were not hot. The rest of our food came out nearly 20 minutes after we ordered it. My wife's Steak tips were overdone and tough. I ordered the ribeye. It was rubbery and Luke warm at best. The chicken was dry, the kids mac n cheese was dry as well! The fried pickles were in the holding window too long and where just warm! I was very disappointed! Especially for the crazy high prices!! The inside decor seemed very old and outdated as well as very cramped. It was so cramped that some servers with bigger bottoms, couldn't squeeze through between tables, and had to keep asking us to move our chairs or scoot In! Everybody was rushing around busy, but nobody seemed to be helping each other! Ya no like most restaurants do! It didn't seem to me that they had runners to help bring the food out while the servers where busy! Everyone seemed like they were all about just helping their table and no other table even if asked! The smoked sirloin was decent. Took a while which surprised me since I ordered it medium rare and Ashley told me it was cooked to medium rare already. Even more surprised when I saw that a double Tito's in a tall glass was $19!!! I'm from Chicago and have ordered that same drink from some of the finer establishments in the city and never have I ever paid $19 for that drink! I wouldn't recommend this place. We went to this steakhouse for our anniversary and was pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was Megan and she stated it was her first day but she was great. The first thing was they provided peanuts which was a great addition while having a drink before ordering dinner. We both ordered steaks, baked potato's and a green salad, fresh baked bread was also provided with dinner. The portions were large and we ended up taking half our dinner home for the next day.
