My first time in Arkansas and everyone said to try this restaurant. I would say it is very cool being in a train depot theme. Cute building in a train car and toy train riding around the inside top edge of restaurant. There are large steps to get inside not sure how handicap accessible. The food was okay. I did like the sweet tea with the crushed ice and my sweet waitress gave me one to go. The possum pie I took home as well, yummy. The small nachos with queso was quite large, could not finish. Chips were fresh and basic queso. The dinner I got was okay, the waitress was amazing. Interior was clean but old 90's style wood finishing. The staff was all attentive and sat me and at end rung up bill quickly. Bathroom very small. Over just okay, it's more cute than anything. read more

I ordered take out. It took a little longer than the app said, but not too much. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. It was excellent. The sauce was a little hot, so if you have aversion to heat, order the sauce on the side. Thanks, Stoby's! read more

Stobys was a great choice to experience Arkansas, being from Texas we were excited to try an Arkansas classic. The service was good and we got to try a very unique PB and J bacon burger. The salty ness from the bacon went perfectly with the warm peanut butter creating a gooey mess of goodness between buns. The Mexican fruit punch was delicious. We also got to try Possum Pie and buy some jelly for the rest of our trip. read more

Busy place had tasty breakfast. Strawberry freezer jam in squeeze bottles at the table was real delicious. Real butter, yeah. Good homemade biscuits. Gravy was yummy. Read the room- this is not a place to get a crab cake benedict- honestly, probably not the place to get a benedict at all. The crab cake was so fried- still can't get the taste of oil out of my mouth. It resembled more of a cheap extra crispy chicken patty. The server asked me if I wanted my poached egg soft, medium, or hard. I love a good Benedict, so of course I ordered it soft. I was able to pick up and manhandle this hockey puck of an egg. Giving Stobys 2 stars because my family seemed to enjoy their cinnamon rolls. Again. Read the room. read more

Placed a group order and it took over 2 hours to get! We have placed many group orders and have never been treated the way we were today. Employees were very rude to us, as well. If you cannot accommodate a large order, you need to just say "No" instead of accepting it! I love Stoby's and this was so very disappointing! They lost a TON of business today! read more

We were in town visiting friends and went to Stoby's for breakfast Saturday morning. I was afraid it would be crowded, but we were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and brought coffee quickly. I ordered scrambled eggs, grits, and bacon with a biscuit. Everything was perfect, hot, and delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly (this means they weren't burned or scorched!!). DH and our friend ordered the same breakfast with hash browns and eggs over easy. They had put crispy bacon in the hash browns and DH enjoyed them so much. We will definitely go back the next time we're in Russellville. read more

Two words!!! Cinnamon rolls! Fresh! Hot! Soft!!! Open gooey deliciousness!!!! We ordered one then after one bite ordered another! The biscuits were amazing and I'm glad I tried the chocolate gravy but it was a bit sweet for my taste!!!! Next time, I will have to get some pie!!!!! read more

Stopped in based on Yelp reviews. Fun railroad theme. If you're lucky you'll hear a freight train roll by. Sandwiches and burgers with a few other options. We had the cheese dip with chips. Tasty I had the French dip. Only used half the bread in order to have a hearty sandwich. Pretty good with a cup of Au Jus Bread soft. Wife had chicken salad on a croissant. 4 stars. We ordered sandwiches middle of the day. The chicken salad on Rye was good and a nice portion of chicken salad. The bread was soft and fresh. A small bag of chips was my side. The other sandwich was a club, I think a different type of bread would have been better, it was wheat. Ask for it on a hogue if that's an option! Plenty of meats and cheese. The coleslaw was very tasty. The dining room was fine , but with summer air conditioning running, it was too cool for my taste , so bring a wrap of some sort. Our server was pleasant. I liked that they had the QR code for payment. That's very handy and I look forward to more establishments following suit! I would return. They had a nice menu with lots of options. read more

Built in an old railroad car at an old railroad station, this breakfast and lunch diner has a ton of charm. Their breakfast is amazing. Their cinnamon rolls to die for. Their fluffy pancakes are as big as the large oval sized plates they're served on. We were in town on vacation and ate there more than once instead of trying someplace new because we enjoyed it so much. read more

This is a must stop when in Russellville. They use actual railroad dining cars for some of the seating. Servers are really very friendly and take great care of you. Sandwiches and burgers are the main fair and they are great. This is also a great place for breakfast. Always busy but not a long wait. Make sure you pull the chain to blow the whistle when you leave. read more

Found this place while traveling and driving around town. Glad we did. Friendly greeting. Good service. It's a popular place! It stayed busy the whole time we were there. It has a full menu. We went for the Rubens and they were good. We got the yellow cheese and chips. The cheese was tasty but barely warm. Over all a nice dining experience. read more

Great food. Everything was delicious. Hot food was hot. Cold food was good and chilled. The Cheese dip with chips was really good. Were it fell down a little was on service. Our server was slow to get to us when we sat down. She gave us our menus and took our drink order, brought us our drinks then disappeared for about five minutes. We placed our food order. Someone else brought us our cheese dip virtually straight away. Our food took a while. A different server had to fill our drinks. We finished our meal and sat there for probably 15 minutes waiting for our check. We will go back at least for breakfast as this is not typical for them. read more

The food was great! The fries were the perfect crispy with soft potatoes inside it. The cheese dip was tasty, and I had the Stoby sandwich which I thought was great. To top it off we had a possum pie and that was a nice light treat, I enjoyed it without feel like I overate. I took home cheese dip and half my sandwich and fries, which I thought made the meal well priced! read more

I took my dance team to Stoby's on Nov. 15. I paid with a credit card and left a generous cash tip on the table. When I received my credit card statement, Stoby's added a $26 tip. This amount was not on the credit card receipt I signed. I called and spoke to the manager. She said she'd investigate and call me back. She never did. I had to call her back, and she said the servers said I did not leave a tip on the table. I'm sure that a camera could be checked to see that I indeed left a tip. Regardless, I should not have been charged an amount different from the amount I signed on the credit card receipt. So I guess Leslie our server made out the best in this situation. She got my cash tip and the credit card tip. read more

Well, let me tell you, this wasn't just any old watering hole. The bar, previously the bank, had been standing so long it might as well have been written into the town charter. You could see it in that picture on the wall--half a century in one frame, another half tacked on, like a time-lapse of laughter and spilled beer. Now, the food--Lord help me--wasn't what you'd call gourmet. It was what every club in America serves when the fryer's hot and the cook's in a hurry. They sprinkled something called Old Bank Seasoning on just about everything. Imagine Old Bay with more salt and less charm. Then they ladled out their "special" cheese sauce, which was nothing more than queso with another fistful of Old Bank tossed in. You'd think after all these years they might've tinkered with it some. But the waitresses smiled, hustled, and earned their tips the hard way. Management kept the lights on and the taps flowing, which is what management's supposed to do. And maybe that's the whole story here: you come expecting fireworks, you get a sparkler. But in a town where the bar itself is the landmark, maybe the food's not the point. Maybe it's the people raising their glasses, telling their stories, and making sure somebody takes the next picture for the wall. Yes, I would go back.

Sat down and ate my salad, drank my beer, drank most of my water and waited. My server was nowhere to be seen. There was no servers to be seen. There was a large group table in front of me who were already seated when I got there and they didn't have their food and a table behind me, a man with two kids who came in a minute or two after me, who didn't have their food either. After about 25 minutes after finishing my salad my food arrived, via a different server than the one who took my order. I have to say the food was well cooked and portion sizes were good. The food for the man and two kids came out just after mine but the food for the big group didn't arrive until I was paying my bill. Not sure if they asked for the food to be delayed or if the kitchen was having issues getting everything cooked but it certainly seems like the kitchen is not in a hurry to get orders done and out. No one ever asked if I needed a refill on my drinks or ask if I needed anything. I would have given a lower score but the food was good and the view is fantastic.

The food was decent, but my biscuit was basically falling apart the whole time, which made it kind of frustrating to eat. The biggest disappointment was the coffee. It honestly tasted like straight cleaning chemicals -- I took one sip and couldn't drink it after that. Not a terrible experience overall, but definitely not great either. I'd maybe give it another shot, but this visit was just average for me.
