Terrible. This has never happened to me with any Medical practice. Can't contact office outside of their terrible app even my insurance company could not contact the office . I waited for many weeks for my vials of serum to be made so I could begin treatment and after all that waiting I received a message (in the app) that I needed to pay $500 before they would place order for my serum. I never even saw a medical doctor. I had a phone call with a PA and skin prick test was performed by a "tech" (her words). I was pretty sure my insurance would cover the treatment and after calling to confirm I asked (in app again) for my records to be sent to a new clinic. I was told they made a mistake (in app again) submitting to my insurance company. Still waiting on them to send my results to new doctors. I just can't trust this practice with my care if they can't even figure the office out. I'm glad I confirmed before paying out of pocket for covered services. Not a phone call or even an in message app after I asked for my records. Not good! read more

This is hands down the most unethical absurd medical practice I have EVER encountered in my life. I am waiting to have a telehealth appointment with no way to access the client portal because their system will not recognize me, no way to contact anyone because they only use a contracted scheduler service that barely speak English...if they even speak to you...most of the time its chat only. When I actually got into the place, I had to call 6x just to find out the location of my appointment. And then a med tech did my testing... I NEVER once saw an actual doctor. These people are a medical malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen. As a healthcare provider myself, I plan to report these folks to the medical board for malpractice. read more

This company is run horribly. I have never experienced this before but was completely stood up for a telehealth appointment I had scheduled. No communication whatsoever and no ability to reach anyone by phone. I had high hopes for a consultation with Dr Jain but am taking my business elsewhere as I will not tolerate this. read more

I visited Columbia Allergy and Asthma five times, with my last visit being in November 2024. I paid a bill before insurance processed it, leaving an $83.56 credit. November was my last visit due to the distance. Since then (up until about two months ago), I had received at least 10 statements showing the same $83.56 credit balance. I called the Oregon Patients "Contact Us" number on the billing statement, but never reached anyone, leaving voicemails requesting a refund with no response. I also mailed a refund request to their billing address, but received no reply. Then, suddenly, a couple of months ago (July 2025), I started receiving statements showing a $20 BALANCE DUE, with new charges from 10/2/24 and no refund. The latest charges that are from 10/2/24 had already been paid for back in 2024 (hence the credit invoices I received for several months). These billing practices seem very suspect, and they are impossible to contact to resolve these issues directly. read more

The clinic staff have been wonderful. Front desk and nursing staff have always been very friendly and helpful. I have only met with PA via zoom twice while here, but most of my information for my allergy shots was previously established at another clinic so I only needed annual renewals for prescription. PA was very professional and listened to my needs. The only reason I would rate down the clinic is the way they manage there communcation systems that make it almost impossible to reach clinic staff. Online portal often does not work and is inaccessible. Calls are often outsourced to call center staff outside the clinic. These call centers seem to know little about the clinic and their patients, and often have poor telephone connections and are hard to understand.Making it difficult to contact for rescheduling or medication refills. Billing also falls into this category, where I have been contacted in several different formats (text,email, phone calls) but all poor quality. Often I get an email to pay my bill, but when I click the link the portal is not working. I feel responding to text is not a secure format. And the people who handle billing phone calls again are difficult to understand. The clinic staff at the Vancouver location has been the only reason I have not considered transferring to another company all together. They are always so caring and helpful when I come in and are great with my kids as well. I have resolved to handle all billing, scheduling, or any other requests while I am in clinic for my appointments and by pass the sub par call centers and online issues. Now, I personally was going to leave a reply, and five star review since I enjoyed his place so much. But did not expect such a low rating and bad reviews left on here, I don't understand how other people could not have enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly, staff, nurses, doctors, etc. Filing and paperwork was straightforward was speedy and easygoing. Operation rooms were clean, sanitized, and overall enjoyable to look at, not like a dull asylum. These people genuinely care for your own good and safety, as they take all the necessary precautions to ensure when doing allergy testing bloodwork, skin, and any other testing to be done properly by the book. Legit the nurses are hot and fun to talk too. Price was decent if you don't have insurance. They keep all medical records of your history, sealed and tight here at the facility if you're a regular. If you encounter Katy she's cool and likes to talk and time fly while testing. If you have kids, they have an area for them to play read books and watch movies on a small TV in the waiting area in the back. I did my Prick test and oral testing here and it was comforting to know I was in good hands and felt the urgency to make time for me and insure I was comfortable. With out a doubt that in my this was the, "ice water to my 3AM wake up from a sore throat" lol Highly recommend and I encourage you to do your allergy testing here at Columbia Allergy Say hi to Kati Jordan Larissa they are the best! read more

Really horrible communication. I filled out the paperwork to get started with allergy shots. They said it would take a month to get everything ready. A month passes. Then 6 weeks. I reach out. They said they aren't ready. They will call me. I waited an additional month. I reached out again and asked for an update, and I just got a really vague answer about being in the queue. They said they'd call me when they're ready. They have never once reached out, or sent me a message letting me know what's going on. A quick "hey, sorry things are taking a bit longer than expected, but we'll get you in as soon as possible" would have gone a long way. I honestly feel like I've been ghosted. I am left wondering if this is actually going to happen. I did give them two stars because they people who did my skin prick test were really nice, and I really liked them. The bad review is solely based on their lack of communication and updates when the process is taking months longer than they said it would. read more

The quality of care here is not great. Communication isn't good either. I've never once seen the actual dr and everything seems so scattered here. I don't feel listened to in the least, and as a lifelong allergy sufferer being asked by the new nurse practitioner I saw if I "had tried antihistamines" was obnoxious and a little bit offensive. Yes, yes I have tried antihistamines and if you would have looked at my chart you would have seen the plethora of antihistamines and inhalers I've tried and failed. I'm going to be finding a new allergist that actually listens and cares. read more

The billing department is HORRIBLE. They send a bill, you pay it. 3 months later you get a bill with the same dates on it. You call and have to leave a message. No one ever calls you back. Finally have calling for a week, they call back to say your payment has been applied. You have to watch every bill. I got a bill recently, paid it and 1 1/2 months later I get a bill with two of those office visits on my bill again. I have been calling for a month, asking for an itemized list of the billing and payments, NO ONE is calling me back. I also got a separate bill from there other location that I have never been to. Again, they don't call you back, so I have no idea why the Tigard office is billing me. I would not recommend this place! read more

No one answers the phone. I have been trying to get ahold of someone every day for about a month to get new serum bottles ordered, and no one answers or returns my calls. I am trying to get my medical records now to transfer to a new clinic, and I can't even get those. I guess I have to go there in person. TERRIBLE service. It used to be good a few years ago. If I could give Columbia Allergy & Asthma negative stars, I would. They don't even deserve a one-star review. I actually believe they are fraudulent and I'm currently working to turn them in to as many avenues as I can (my insurance co, the BBB and possibly the FTC. DO NOT give your business to this so-called company. Here is my story: I contact my insurance co. to see who is in-network for an allergy test for my son. Unfortunately for me, Columbia A&A is in network, and was closest in location, so out of convenience only, I went with them. The first warning sign was that they only operate through text...what legitimate professional service does that?! No human to talk with (unless push comes to shove, which I did and did get one phone call from them when I threw down at their system.) Well, I second guessed myself and went with their, "Texting is preferred by so many people!" reply, instead of running far and fast away from what seemed like a seedy practice of avoiding the customer. After a ridiculous amount of texting back and forth to figure out how they code an allergy test so I could see if my insurance covered it, and then going back and forth on scheduling an intake meeting and then scheduling the actual test, the test date finally got on the calendar. Then after waiting a few weeks for the test appt., they texted to change it. "No longer offering testing on that day at that location..." was the story. Sigh, okay, we changed it to another day, and with change to another day came a change to where we needed to go for the test. Frustrating, as I went with them for the convenience of the first location. So back to waiting for the rescheduled date we go, and where I faulted was forgetting to add the new address of the change in office to my calendar when I changed the appt date on my calendar. So the appt dates rolls around, my son and I show up 15 mins early to the first location, only to have a, "Effective Immediately, Closed while we relocate" sign on the locked door. There was also a phone number, so in a panic, I called it only to receive their lovely customer friendly (sarcastic here) voicemail message stating that if I leave a message, they'll return my call via a text, as soon as they're able. Grrrrr. I then launched the text app platform they use, backtracking through the countless texts I had with them throughout this whole fiasco. I find the address of the other location where my son's appt was rescheduled to, so we jump in the car and race there in the car, my son texting through their app that we were on our way, only to get no reply. We arrived to another CLOSED office, with another sign that literally said, "Starting 4/9/24, Beaverton will be open for shots and back office appts on Tuesdays only!!!! Please plan accordingly!" What?! They were in that office just two days before our scheduled appt, yet couldn't reach out to clients they had scheduled for Thursday 4/11 and let us know you weren't going to be there except for on Tuesdays now?! And what does, "Please plan accordingly!" mean?! I called their number again, and again, and again, selecting every extension option possible, all which goes to the same voicemail, saying they'll text when they can. I left messages asking them to call me, and of course it won't surprise you by now when I say, I've never heard from them, via text or phone call. We wasted all these weeks waiting for my son's needed test, and now we are starting all over again elsewhere. I highly DO NOT recommend this medical practice. I went to them to get SLIT (sub lingual allergy treatment) and the first visit was ok. I did hear back from them when they received the medication I was to use from the lab. My first appointment starting me with the therapy went very well. The nurse was incredible in her knowledge, professionalism, and ability to get me off to an educated and good start. The MD was pleasant and informative. I followed the instructions and returned a month later for receipt of my next dose of meds. The RN made a mistake during my in office testing, having me take the wrong dose. She was scattered, only semi focused, and I left confused about dosing. HERE'S WHERE IT WENT WAY DOWNHILL: To reassure myself that I had heard the nurse correctly (different instructions for dosing than from my first visit), I attempted to contact 3 of their offices over the next 3 days. Every call went to voice mail (full) or to leave a message. I left messages which were never returned or that instructed me to contact them via text through KLARA. I left phone messages & text messages, never getting a reply other than "we'll get back to you." I finally called their after hours number on Friday (found out all of their offices closed early for Labor Day) and left my concerns/informatioon I needed. I was told I would receive a call back. NOTHING. So, I'll go at least 7 days without the instructions I need. This business is pathetic with communication to the point of being completely unreachable by any method. I'll have to drive to the clinic after the long weekend and ask for help without an appointment. THIS IS PATHETIC MEDICAL CARE. read more

Truly appalled by the terrible service and quality of this clinic. I'm used to being treated with kindness and good communication at clinics and this was the opposite. I was billed an outrageous amount for a 15 minute appointment and a test they said during the appointment "wasn't working" but were happy to charge me for it anyway. It was nearly impossible over 2 weeks to reach Billing and when I did, their responses were short, unhelpful, and rude. The "treatment" they said they gave me was a couple samples. I would compare this office to a scam and I would never recommend their services to friends and family. read more

They told my wife she was allergic to all sorts of things and it was the cause of her hives. Turns out they were wrong her hives were a auto immune disorder. But in the process of trying to cure her allergies with shots and such they sent my wife into anaphylactic shock twice once sending her to the ER. It was not until we switched doctors that we found out she should not of been getting the shots because her Hives were not from Allergies which I asked about before starting the allergy treatment and I was assured it was the cause. All in all owe 1400.00 to the clinic after insurance 300 to the ambulance they sent my wife away in 200 in medical bills from the ER visit all this was after insurance that covers 80% cost. read more

Been going here for years. Best staff ever (V). I started at an allergist in Seattle with 3 shot bottles, moved down and started going here and am now down to just 1 bottle so immunotherapy definitely works and my asthma is well controlled. Expressed concerns about a certain medication and depression and was taken off of it and prescribed a different one without a problem. Not sure you want to commit to doing shots 2-3 times a week? I'm as busy as the next guy (I do work at Microsoft so yeah I tend to work some late nights) and they will let you do a cluster (3 shots spaced 1/2 hour apart in 1 day, a cluster, or a rush which is a lot of shots spaced 20 minutes apart all day long). I chose to do 2 rush's (wifi works great so can work from there in your own room if you need to) so within 2 weeks I was on my last bottle. Once that bottle is done, I'm on maintenance. Pro's ------ Knowledgeable staff Best group of front desk and nurses you could ask for Respectful of your time Immunotherapy works Brand new office More Dr's now so easier to get into a regular appointment NO APPT NEEDED FOR SHOTS! That's a big one. I went to one place and you had to make an appointment to come in for a shot. Seeing as you have to do 2-3 a week it becomes quite cumbersome. read more

I have been suffering with allergies for years and have been unable to lock down the cause. On my first visit to Columbia Asthma & Allergy, they were able to diagnose several allergies that, upon looking back, make total sense. The staff here are super friendly and Dr. Jain is very professional and knowledgeable. Front desk staff are very helpful in working with your insurance company. I am very happy about the results of my visit here and am really pleased that they discovered new allergens that I need to avoid. read more

I was a patient there for a while and everything went well. I contacted them for a flare up of a condition, they said too much time had passed and I would be considered a new patient. They could not get me in for about a month. I have a different issue that is making me want to scratch my leg off. One month waiting will not work. So much for caring about your patients. read more

Everything has been a battle, communication has been poor, and their lack of consideration for her time and condition has been offensive.
