The first time, I wasn't told I owe anything for the visit. The next time, they tell me I only owe about $250.00 for both appointments. Then I received another bill on a later date. I tried to sort out why it is so expensive and why I need to pay so much and why more than once. I called several times with no answer then came to leave a Google review. Suddenly, the Vancouver office called me back. They stated they made a mistake with billing and hadn't realized that they were not in network for my insurance and due to their negligence and failure to report expected costs, they would only charge me for one appointment and not the other. The only condition for that outcome was that I remove my strongly worded original Google review. I removed the review (perhaps too early, in hindsight) and they told me they considered me paid in full. Well, last week, imagine my frustration when I received a bill stating I owe them for the full amount of the 2nd visit So, naturally, I tried to call them several times, left a voicemail, and now I am leaving another strongly worded Google review. I am hoping this comes to a resolution. But between the unanswered calls, the billing practices, and overall sketchiness of the experiences I have had here, do stay away. Choose a different provider.

If I could give zero stars I would! My daughter was referred for allergy testing who is just 11 months old so I am already leery on the procedure being she's so small. From the moment I walked in the two women at the front acted like I was bothering them, not pleasant no Hi or greeting. I asked about my daughters appointment and finally the women came over to help me. Told me I had to make the co-pay she wouldn't bill for it even tho I had didn't have my card I gave her my numbers off my card instead. She then walked me back to a DIRTY UNSANITARY ROOM. She pulled the paper off from the previous patient like it was cleaned and it clearly was not. Left the room and kept the door open? The next woman came in I don't know what her title is as she was also from the front desk. Asked me some questions and I asked about the blood testing instead of the needles and she said they couldn't do that there. But I agreed to do the needle testing so she left and I assume told someone we were doing that but didn't really say... I waited about 5-10 minutes and then realized we should probably not have anything done here. Called my husband to see what the reviews for the clinic were and he said 2 stars I immediately left. Mind you nobody even asked what I needed or ANYTHING when I poked my head out to let them know, they both looked down at their desk or phones and just ignored me. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

What was/is really distressing is inability to communicate with a human being about billing issues as well as the billing issues themselves. Payments are taken and deposited but not credited and billing for the same fees persists. No one answers the telephone; no one responds to emails; no one responds to the AI messaging system; and no one returns calls or telephone messages. If a practice lacks admin and clerical support, it is a no go.

I would really like to give CA a good review, because the staff is not the problem. The problem is…read moreoverextended management and negligent ownership. This clinic is only open two days a week, and the options for patients are getting scarcer. The staff has a difficult time connecting the patients with the doctor, and he is often unreachable, which for any medical provider is unacceptable. There is a revolving door of turnover in staff and very little consistency for the patients. The ability for patients to communicate with reception is hampered by the klunky and non-intuitive online Klara interface, instead of allowing patents to simply call in and speak to someone in reception. Billing is confusing and only adds to the burden for administrative staff, having to answer questions that a better system would avoid. The various branches of this business are also slowly going extinct. The portent for people who use this clinic seems grim.

Dr. Montanaro is an Attending, so the first person i talked to was a Resident working for him. Much like the role a nurse often fills, i talked to her about why i was there, my medical history, and such. She took notes, went to discuss it with Dr. Montanaro, and a few minutes later they both came in. Dr. Montanaro and i talked for a few minutes to make sure he understood the scope of my prior allergic reaction, then he explained why he thought it would save everyone some time, money, and discomfort to skip actual allergy testing. He made it very clear that if i wanted to do the blood test, they'd be perfectly willing, but he was confident that i'm at very low risk for anaphylaxis (severe, life-threatening allergic reaction) and probably shouldn't worry about it. He gave me advice on how to avoid future exposure, how to treat myself if i do get stung, and encouraged me to take a prescription for an epi-pen just in case things got out of hand (multiple stings, etc). After that, he even took a few minutes to discuss my two minor food allergies. He talked about how people with one allergy are at higher risk for the other, so it's not coincidence that i have both, and so on. Really, i learned a staggering amount in my 30 minute appointment _and_ didn't have to get stabbed or scratched, so i'm pretty happy with it all. Dr. Montanaro is friendly, helpful, and willing to take the time to make sure you understand as much as you want to.

In that time, through his hard work, research, and due dilligence, he has found and treated the root cause of our children's medical issues. Earlier this year our family came down with COVID. We had mild symptoms and turned to Dr. Miller when our other family physician wasn't even allowed to see sick patients. We are so thankful for his tireless research and ability to treat us. We all recovered in one week but then my husband came down with pneumonia. Without Dr. Miller's quick thinking and propensity to treat each of us based off of our unique medical history, I don't think my husband would have recovered as quickly as he did. We are so thankful to have a Doctor who uses sound medical best practices, tirelessly researches treatments and protocols, and works to treat the root of the cause. We are so grateful for him and his staff and believe we need more doctors like him
