Zoom care here is top notch! After being turned away at the urgent care clinic in Camas Wa. We took my son to zoom care In Vancouver. Here they treated my son who had poison oak all over his body. They didn't hesitate to provide him relief and care. His body is now healing well from the poison oak. Urgent care was not willing to treat someone who really needed it, Plus they wanted to charge us 200$. After talking to staff we were able to get out $ back. So dissatisfied with them. ZoomCare is always handy in a pinch, and this year, I was definitely pinched: I wasn't able to get in to see my PCP by the end of the year, and I needed to do a Annual Wellness Exam for my employer's insurance plan, pronto! Thankfully, ZoomCare allows you schedule an appointment at a moment's notice, so I was able to get in to be seen, get my paperwork filled out and in order, at the eleventh hour! Big thanks to Dr. James Stupfel, PA-C, who was friendly, welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, assuring, and personable. If I didn't have a PCP, I would absolutely visit him for everything, based on his calm, professional demeanor. Very recommended for anyone who unsure of using a fly-by-night, last minute healthcare provider. People like him give credit to ZoomCare, and the healthcare industry in general, at a time when people have begun to (rightfully) question our broken, predatory system. I was happy to find this office close to home. It was way to make an appointment online that fit my schedule and the staff and PA I saw addressed all my problem and gave me the help I needed as I had not found a PCP being new to the area. I did notice, in the office waiting area, that it is definitely better to make an appointment rather than walk-in and that this particular office doesn't offer all of the services as other locations but for what I needed (bloodwork and referrals) it was perfect. read more

Showed up at 7:35am to get some antibiotics, and Lo and behold they aren't open yet. No hours on the door, but online on Google and yelp, and the zoom cafe website says open at 7am. Did a 10 minute web visit thru MDlive with my insurance instead. Update your hours or show up to open when you're supposed to. read more

Absolutely terrible! I wanted to complain about my awful experience and wanted to talk to a manager. This is what they said initially: "Hi Pavel, Please allow 30-45 days for our team to review, thank you." 45 days ???? :)) None contcated me. I followed up: " Thank you for providing all of that information and feedback on your experience at ZoomCare. I'm sorry to hear that your experience with our Patient Support Center was less than satisfactory. Although we don't have a Supervisor available for inbound phone calls." Zoom Care is a great alternative to other hospital/clinic based urgent cares. With the pandemic making accessibility to care more important than ever it is very nice to have an easily accessible center in town. Making both virtual and in person appointments are easy through their website. Choose one of their many locations, choose a provider, enter in your insurance information and you'll be in great shape for your appointment. The ease of their appointments is very nice especially when you're feeling cruddy and don't want to do much of anything aside from lay in bed. I've had the opportunity to see them at this location for varying issues over the years and although the providers have differed the service has not. If you are just visiting the area or live here and need access to prompt and friendly help I'd definitely recommend this place! read more

Broke my arm late January and came here as I had recently moved and did not know where else to go. They did not have X-rays on site and I was referred elsewhere. That's all fine. When I arrived at the location they referred me to I was told the referral form was not filled out correctly. No one answered at zoomcare when they called to receive the correct information. Had to drive back with a broken arm in extreme pain. When I got back I was told they had realized their mistake and emailed the correct form after I had left. No one bothered to call me and let me know to have someone check their email. Which ultimately lead to me having to drive back and forth for over an hour. I don't really feel like I received good care for the amount of money myself and my insurance paid. Then I received an extra bill to add insult to injury. read more

Friendly provider; the office visit was great, but this is NOT the place to go if you might need xrays. They will send you to some bigger Portland Zoom location, or else "give you a referral" to get an X-ray. The paper referral they provided did not contain the needed information to have the hospital down the road perform an X-ray. To fix it, they attempted to fax over referrals twice more, both of which which were illegible or missing the same information, wasting a tremendous amount of time and several phone calls. read more

Wow, way to do urgent care beyond better! I had such a great experience with James Moorman, PA-C and team. At 2am I woke up knowing something concerning was happening in my body and I would need to be seen by a medical professional immediately in the morning. I found the nearest ZoomCare and scheduled an appt. It was beyond easy. I have never been to ZoomCare and I had questions about quality of care I would receive and the logistics of getting a prescription, BUT this was the only option for immediate care in my limited schedule. The price was right. I am happy to report that my experience at ZoomCare was outstanding - checkin was super easy and very friendly, the cost of everything was extremely clear, James saw me almost immediately after I arrived and proved to be a compassionate, knowledgeable, clear doctor. He believed what I told him about my condition and symptoms. He took notes. The prescription I knew I would need was available immediately and priced extremely affordably (about my regular copay). Easy peasy. Checkout was exceptionally easy and clear. I walked away amazed, with my meds in hand, and a clear plan for follow-up care with a specialty doctor. Now, almost 12 hours after I took my first dose of medicine, I feel immeasurably better. When I got home I raved to my partner about the experience at ZoomCare. He asked - "why have we never done this before? It is amazing!". Of course, in some situations you need something different in terms of comprehensiveness of services on site, but this was perfect for me today. I am so deeply grateful to dr. james for getting my healing ball rolling smoothly. Big BIG thanks to you, ZoomCare team! (About cost - I dare anyone to go regular urgent care while with a ppo plan and end up playing less than you would at ZoomCare, it is just not possible. Zoomcare is great for emergency care, I'll say that. I recently got insurance and tried to use zoomcare as my primary care provider and what a fucking headache. I have been overcharged for every visit I've had because they weren't billing the right state. I have now spent over $800 this month for treatment for my back pain and I'm still in pain. Fortunately after spending an hour on the phone with my insurance company AND zoomcare I'm getting some of that back. They are really cheerful and courteous while charging you exorbitant amounts. I'm finding a new primary care physician and leaving zoomcare for when I absolutely can't avoid it. read more

SOOOOO. They tell you to get here 5 minutes before your appointment and say that if you don't they'll cancel your appointment. So I come in and the person scheduled before me still hasn't been seen. Fast forward to 10 minutes after my 330 appointment, and the person before me is JUST being seen. OH and they only have one doctor, well nurse practitioner, on duty. ALSO if you cancel your appointment within an hour of it... They charge you $99...... If you have all these rules.... Maybe you should stick to your schedule. I don't think it's fair that I would have lost my appointment if I got here at 330.... But here I am... Probably won't be seen until 4 - 30 minutes after my scheduled time... I want to leave, but I don't want to get charged! Ya ya.... I understand that doctors can run behind for reasons out of their control but it seems to me that if they're following their late patient policy that they threaten.... It probably wouldn't be an issue. Lesson learned. Pick a different urgent care. Unless you have the time to waste, then by all means... Enjoy! read more

Awful! Literally over six months ago I went into this establishment for something that was not a really big deal. Had some lab work done, an injection and was on my way! I have really good insurance, I was surprised when she told me I had to pay close to $500 out-of-pocket and she reassured me that I would be reimbursed the difference so I said whatever. Six months later they sent me an email saying oops your payment did not go through they were trying to charge me an additional $125 saying that the accuracy from my insurance was not correct and I still owed! Six months later? So I called to have zoom care send me an itemized receipt of what they were charging me for they were double charging me for one particular test and I called my insurance and brought that to their attention and sure enough they are trying to cheat me out of more money! And the fact they just tried to take my money out from my card I had on file without even getting my consent for this absurd amount of money that they still want to take from me after they screwed up on their billing to begin with! I will never ever give you guys my business ever again nor will I ever recommend zoom care to anybody! Everybody you guys are better off going to a normal urgent care, where they will not screw you with no lube! read more

Their entire company is a complete joke. Would only prescribe me medication IF I purchased through their pharmacy (at $60).... they refused to take my insurance and would not let me fill my prescription at my local Walgreens, which would have been $4. Oh and when I saw my PCP she said that the particular medication should have never been prescribed in the first place for my particular situation. Never again Zoom Care.... Never again. read more

Being new to the area, I did not have a primary care physician yet but needed help for cold/flu symptoms that would not go away. I like the no-nonsense concept at Zoom+Care. I could sign up for an appointment online and when I got to the center they were right on schedule. I liked that my exam addressed what my symptoms were and didn't waste my time with unnecessary tests, questions, or medications. The doctor (Christie) was very polite, gentle, and professional. I felt I was in good hands. The receptionist out front was very polite, efficient, and caring. I hope more medical centers will start following Zoom+Care's example. I was then directed to go to the super center in Portland to receive IV fluids. I was treated very well there too. The doctor (Andrew) and staff were all very sweet and professional. Little things like a warmed blanket during the IV process made the experience much more pleasant. I also liked that I could view my medical records from the visit on a secure web-app. One improvement I would love to see is an added Zoom super center added to the Vancouver area. There are 2 Zoom+Care centers in Vancouver and many in Portland but there are no super centers in Vancouver. read more

$250.00 just to be seen! Super high prices for a standard visit. The care you receive is extremely low and very little if any testing at all is done. When zoom care started they were great, but it has really gone down hill. Not recommended uness you already know what you need, and don't mind paying high prices. read more

I will say that scheduling and promptness of service was great. I was able to make an appointment for the same morning and go straight to the clinic. When I arrived I was greeted and was seen fairly shortly thereafter, just about right on time. Paid my money for the visit. I went in because I was having pain on my right side and also trouble with breathing. I would be out of breath in just three steps. I had recently had a head and chest cold and thought it was just something left over. I had no other symptoms, fevers, chills, nausea etc. After the PA checked me over, listened to my chest, temp etc she said that I would need to have my Gall Bladder removed and that was her diagnosis. I asked her how she came up with that as I did not think I had any of the symptoms and she replied that what she diagnosed it being and that was her opinion. So I decided to go to the ER at the local hospital. As soon as they listened to my chest they said they needed to get me a chest x-ray as my right lung did not sound good at all. Before I was even back in the ER room after the X-ray they had already told my wife that I needed to be admitted and also needed an emergency chest tube put in. With that they extracted over 700ml of fluid from around my lung and that my lung was partially collapsed. They were shocked to hear that another physician could have missed that just about an hour before. I ended up having and plural epyema and ended up having two surgeries and a hospital stay of 10 days. Glad I decided to go to the ER after my visit to Zoomcare Vancouver. read more

This place has got it together. I needed to see a doctor early Saturday afternoon. I first went to Vancouver Clinic Urgent Care. They told me it would be a two hour wait. I asked if I could come back in about two hours and they said if they call my name and I'm not there that I would lose my spot and start the possible two hour wait again! I went to ZoomCare, they gave me an appointment for 90 minutes later. I left and grabbed some lunch, showed up 10 min before my appointment and was called back a few minutes later. The check in process was quick and professional. They handed me an iPad to complete my account setup. I was later able to login at home and view my account details about my visit including diagnosis, treatment, and meds. You can also schedule an appointment online and even setup a consult using Skype; so high tech. Everything that's wrong with other places has been corrected here. The PA I saw was friendly, professional, and thorough. While she typed, you can everything she was typing on another screen next to her; great way to check for errors or misunderstandings. read more

Vancouver, I was very pleased with the service I received at Zoom Care. The first thing I need to say is when it comes to medical stuff I am kind of a Diva :) With that said I loved the service. Lets go through my experience step by step :) Join me on this adventure! 1) The clinic is painted like a Froyo place so it was happy :) 2) The women who checked me in was awesome! Knoweledgeable, helpful and kind. Also standing, smiling and not obese (not common features of medical places) . Not being rude I promise, just saying ;) 3) The Nurse practitioner was super duper smart, knew what it was in a minute :). I was out of there in like 15 minutes which was nice. They have a pharmacy onsite so I got my drugs without having to make a seperate trip. If you have drug insurance Costco is still cheaper :( and you can get a chicken bake while you wait) 4) I had a follow up visit the next day and I was told I was healing and not going to die so that was good :) Also its billed as a primary dr visit not urgent care so the copay is cheaper :) If you are considering going here.... DO IT!!!! And get frozen Yogurt after or it will throw off your whole day! read more

We needed a quick appt for my little guy who had a bad cough and sore throat. Immediately afraid of strep, I scheduled an appt and was able to get in within an hour of looking them up. When we got there we saw James Stupfel, PA-C, almost immediately without waiting. He was fantastic. I love a provider who interacts with my child, and he actually talked to my son (he's 6), instead of me to ask his symptoms. Then I got to provide any missing links. I always appreciate when a Non- pediatrician understands that kids are just different, and accommodates, and I so appreciate that he did. I have to update my previous review with another 5-star rating. I went in again this week and was again delighted with the prompt service and care recieved. I happen to like an efficient medical process and don't need a lot of high-touch. I want to state the issue, find out what might be wrong, feel like I have been listened to, have easy access to my appointment scheduling and medical information and get out of there as quickly as possible. I had the same exceptional experience here as the previous reviews. I scheduled this appointment just hours beforehand and literally had tears of joy when learning the fees for uninsured patients like myself were affordable and straightforward. My main concerns were addressed immediately by Dr. Jim Stupfel. He is awesome. Jeremy at the front desk was also a pleasure to speak with and had me registered as a new patient within two minutes. I wish I could save this without a star. ZOOMCARE in Mill Plain, Vancouver is a bunch of scammers. I asked for a blood test for pregnancy and they know that they can't do blood tests but they talked to me into talking to a specialist (I don't think she's even a doctor!). She just asked questions and checked my vitals and the lady at the front desk convinced me to have a pee test, which I told her twice that I already took and that they were both positive. Later they charged me for the pee test and my co-pay! read more

I just moved to the area a couple of weeks ago and made an appointment for a PCP visit. I made a wrong turn making me arrive 4 minutes late. When I arrived the receptionist started to check me in and informed me that policy require her to cancel my appointment. I explained I was new to the area, made a wrong turn and was only 4 minutes late. She acknowledged the building can be hard to find and that I was 4 min late and proceeded to cancel my appointment. As a new patient and new to the area she had an opportunity to welcome me as a new resident and patient and inform me of the strict guidelines for the next time. But she chose to humiliate me for being tardy and take some strange pride in cancelling my appointment. I choose customer service over convenience. I understand they are trying to mimic the model of the very successful Bay Area based One Medical Group but are falling short. Customer service and a consistent patient experience begins at the front desk. Empathy and professionalism go a long way when building customer loyalty. read more

I have been seeing Jim and Christie since they opened the Mill Plain clinic and I couldn't love these excellent providers enough! From sinus infections to my motorcycle accident, I always felt I had a trusting, professional ear to talk with about my various ailments. They're friendly and to the point - I can be a bit of a hypochondriac about my health, both physical and mental. They really care about each patient; I've been in their lobby talking with other patients about how great they are, as well! Sure the healthcare system in this country is a flop - bad insurance plans that are too expensive (and too difficult to understand), and the company has seemed to have to make up costs like anyone dealing with healthcare, but they're the most efficient business when it comes to getting me in/out, and onto my day. I know I'll be paying my co-pay, and I understand my deductible and having to pay out of pocket for things because my plan isn't top-tier, but the front desk people are always informative of this no matter how many times I've been there! It's hard to see bad reviews when there's terrible, less efficient, and more expensive places with providers that care far less out there - I once got charged $600 for a 3 hour urgent care wait for a sore throat and antibiotics (I DIDNT EVEN GET TESTED). Luckily I can rely on this little clinic to get me going. Ok, ya, maybe I spend too much time going to the Dr...I'd probably give myself a 3-star on taking care of myself. read more

Went there to have my son seen for a bite mark. They looked at it and sent us to the ER. This is understandable but beware!!!! They still charge you for just looking at something that is way over their heads! $145 is what they charged me for looking at my son and saying we are not doctors and you need to seek real healthcare!! I've gone here twice, once for me and once for a family member. When I went the first time for me, I was sicker than a dog. The receptionist was not very friendly and had quite the attitude. Even though no one was in the office, I felt as though I was an inconvenience to him because I walked in. But 'lucky for me', they could see me, but I 'really needed to make an appointment'. The PA who saw me, on the other hand, she was fantastic!!! Very friendly and attentive to my care. She did a very thorough exam and was able to diagnose the problem. I was very please and impressed with her! She was easy to talk to and made me feel like I was a valued there. Upon checkout, I went to pay cash, and the receptions informed me they did not accept cash. I told him I wish I would have known prior to the appointment, and he said, (I quote!), "I very surely I told you" in a snotty way that made me feel like I was completely wrong. I was livid!!! I already felt awful and he was making it worse. He spoke very little to me in the beginning and did NOT tell me they did not accept cash. The second time I went in, it was for a family member, I only did so because there were no other options. I literally sat in the parking lot for a minute dreading the thought of having to face that snotty receptionist again. Fortunately there was a different receptionist (he was filling in from another Zoomcare), and he was great!! Very friendly and made us feel good and was just all around great! We saw the same PA, and she was amazing again!!!! Got done what we needed to and checked out (paid with a credit card). I am going back and forth on the rating to give. The first receptionist left such a bad taste in my mouth that I doubt I will ever go back again in fear of having to deal with him. My experience here was fantastic. I cut my finger pretty deeply while cooking dinner. I got a quick appointment a half hour later. The PA who took care of me was very skilled and professional and several stitches later I was home eating my soup... barely skipped a beat. Not bad for urgent care. I had a very unfortunate case of the flue a couple of weeks ago and decided to come to Zoom because I had recently moved up to Washington from California, and my new health insurance had not kicked in yet. The girl working at the front was very sweet and helpful with explaining the process and the paperwork. On my sheet I wrote down flu symptoms as well as I had a cyst like bump on my head that he appeared at the same time as the flu symptoms. When the 'doctor' took me back, she had a very cold personality and said to me that they only focus on symptom per visit and that I would have to pick which one I wanted to talk to her about that day. So clearly I chose the flu. I explained to her that for the past four days I was not able to keep ANY food or liquids down for longer than about 15 minutes and I was worried about how rapidly I was losing weight. She proceeded to ask me if I was bulimic or anorexic. 1. That insulted me. And 2. Why would I openly walk into a doctors office and express my worry for my weight loss if I was purposely trying to lose weight? Then she told me I was severely dehydrated and that I needed an IV immediately and to go to their ER. I told her I'm very anxious and scared of needles and if there was another option and she said no. So I asked what happens if I don't get the IV, her answer was undoubtedly the most unprofessional thing I've heard. 'Your kidneys fail and you die.' So, when I was leaving the receptionist asked if I wanted to book the appt at the ER and I said no. She asked if I wanted to book it just in case I decided to go, but if I don't go, they charge me $150 to my cats on file. Why would I book that appointment that I made very clear to them I wasn't going to go to knowing I would have to pay $150? I did not go get an IV. My kidneys did not fail. And I did not die. I think they're a money scam, not a doctors office. Waste of time and money and it just put me in a foul mood while I was extremely ill. Pay the extra money and go to a real doctor. read more

Because of our superior experiences here, we would recommend them to anyone.
