They ruined my teeth. The partials were made wrong, the crowns broke a couple months after receiving them and they no longer take medicaid. The metal from the partials caused tooth rot. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Went to a different dentist yesterday and after the trays were complete, I have to have more teeth pulled because they're infected and get fitted for dentures. But now...Dr Vance Harper has changed all that, made me feel relaxed and comfortable, and is doing exceptional work on me!!! My girlfriend visited on Monday 3/27/2017 and was terrified as we all are of the dentist. Not anymore!!Upon arrival she immediately texted me that the place was immaculate and the front desk nice. She went in with a broken cap and some other issues. 45 minutes later she was done!! Cap installed, cavity filled, teeth cleaned and follow up for some bridgework ( I think) scheduled. Amazing!! I am extremely anxious about dentists appointments. Dr. Harmon and Dr. Shevonne were thorough and explained everything before starting. The environment was light and fun, all the staff seems happy. It was the first time I've gone to a dentist and didn't panic immediately. I highly recommend the enfield office over the Manchester one. This place is beyond terrible. I went there a few months back to fix a couple cavities. For some reason, the lady just did one and let me go without telling me. Obviously this is because they operate like a bank, they want you in and out within 15 minutes. More patients = more $$$. Less than two days later, the cavity filling falls out. I go back, and they put it in again, fine. So recently I went to my regular dentist, who was absolutely shocked at what they did to my tooth. They basically drilled down to the nerve, drilled way too wide as well. And now I may need a root canal. Honestly, I'm not even convinced the people working there are actual dentists. Absolutely the worst Dental experience I ever had. Waited 40 mins after my scheduled time. My cleaning ( if u even call it that ) was performed by the dentist herself. I was in and out of chair in 15 min. It was a big rush and rough cleaning. No flossing.. Horrible experience overall. Didn't even get complimentary toothbrush , something I thought all dentist did. Yesterday, May 12, 2017, I had an appointment at Columbia Dental in Enfield, Connecticut at 4 pm for an extraction. I had just switched from the office in the Manchester Parkade and was told I would be seeing an oral surgeon, my husband also scheduled arm appointment for 5 pm for an extraction as well. Well we get there and my appointment was in their computers, but my husband's wasn't But they put him in so he could get the tooth extracted. Now I have PTSD and I am terrified of any dental work do to many traumatic experiences at numerous dentists and orthodontists, And I have fibromyalgia, and I tell the woman, Parisa Sol Tanabadi Shokri, who isn't an oral surgeon and the dentist who is about to rip an infected tooth from my mouth. She barely let the numbing gel to take effect before she jammed the novacaine into the nerve of my jaw nerve stabbing the needle deep in as I yelled and squirmed and she yelled at me for moving. And before that became numb she came back and jammed out in even deeper, she only numbed the far side (against the cheek) and the front of the tooth not the back and not the empty space before the tooth (this becomes relevant later) Now I am barely numb and she starts janking brutally on the tooth, I needed an oral surgeon because the roots of my teeth kiss my sinus cavity they don't go at the tooth like a barbarian, unlike this witch. And after a minute of pulling so hard she was lifting my head off the chair even though I was resisting as hard as I could, she huffed then grabbed a knife and drill and went at the tooth causing me pain and sending rotten infected tooth bits through my mouth. I was squirming, crying, and begging her to stop that it hurts, it hurts. Her EXACT Words were "It's almost out, it's ok you can handle it". Yeah 10 minutes of torture and her chastising me for squirming and crying. Then she puts stitches in and mouth I feel every stitch, and this morning I realized she DESTROYED the back left upper side of my mouth, no wonder I bled HEAVILY All last night, I went through ALL of the gauze they have me before I went to bed at midnight! This Hack even had the balls to tell me that if I need any more teeth removed I need to be put under, and yeah I do But it's because of how SHE treated me, and in top of it I am suffering from the effects of the massive blood loss on top of the infection in my jaw. Now my poor hubby had no clue how I was treated, and was taken back by the same hack. She didn't even numb the correct tooth before she ripped it out of his head, Nor was her dental assistant present at the time of his torture. My husband told her to her face that she is a hack, where as I sat in the chair of torture emotionally numb and in even more pain than I originally was in that brought me there. I NEVER had this problem at the Manchester Parkade office, well except the dentist that caused the infection in the first place, but he is no longer employed with them, But even he made sure I was pain free and ok, He was gentle where as this tiny woman was more brutal, more vicious and he was just incompetent. I am NEVER going back there and I CANNOT and Will Not recommend this dental office nor company to anyone, it's Not worth the risks in my book, if you are a 'state patient' and Lagisticare is giving you problems with the distance to another place it is worth the headache and run around to get the CPC form to the dentist you like and trust, don't let them bully you out of quality treatment. read more
