They recommended going to a local Vans store and have them remove the security tag. The local store was not able to remove the tag and could not return the item as it was purchased at an outlet store. In calling the NJ Vans store again and further explaining the issue to Mitchel and his supervisor Kyle they said it was an honest mistake on there end and they can not issue a refund and there is nothing else they could do. When I called corporate, they told me that the $20 membership automatically renews every 6 months and not every year, like Nate had told me. I also felt like I was pressured into buying the upgraded membership during my second visit, which I found out later was $60. If there was more transparency about the membership price and other relevant information, my star rating would have been higher. This isn't good business practice.
