Columbia of Wrentham -- Wrentham Outlets : 1 Premium Outlet Boulevard, Wrentham Interior

Reminds me of a smaller and more "controlled" version of LL Bean. Gotta tell you, out of the many stores I visited while at the Wrentham Outlets, this was by far, the best find for me. And if you like Columbia, this is the only store in Massachusetts so you better make sure to stop here if you are the outlets. Now before getting to all the great stuff about this place, I do agree with the other review. The store isn't ginormous, and definitely has more in it than any ordinary shopper that cares about having space would. It can be claustrophobic, especially with how busy it gets, and be just more than one would prefer. That being said, getting the great deals and outstanding variety overthrows the fact that it's cramped. So much more variety in both sizes and styles of sweatshirts, vests, jackets, even hats, backpacks, and everything in-between than the normal Columbia section at any Marshalls or TJ Maxx. And get this, they still charge the same LOW prices you'll find at any TJ or Marshalls. Tons of sizes, colors, and not much "out-of-style" stuff. Staff are friendly and helpful when you need them. Sign up for the rewards program for extra coupons and if you're part of AAA, save 10% on every purchase over $25. Definitely one of my favorite "gems" at the Wrentham Outlets. Highly suggested.

Outlets aren't what they used to be. The prices here are essentially full price with a few cheap clothing items throughout the store.

With all of the heavy-duty stuff they sell, you'd expect the temperature to be a little over the normal here. But both the most current time, and the only other time I've visited this store, it's been STIFLING hot both times and not shoppable. It's like you're in an oven and trapped until you finally reach the exit. The store is small, busy, claustrophobic, and the wooden furniture they use to display products are all damaged, scraped, and some even have "rude" things written into them. Staff are friendly, and I do like the products they sell, but this store has two major things to work on. Fix the thermostat and take out 25% of the clothing and open the store up so the constant "excuse me" to others is much less present. Definitely wanting to like this place, but at the state this store has been in for the last five years or more just isn't working. 3 stars.

Last time, the lady who waited on me was actually from Providence and we chatted about the city and some of its sights. Very pleasant experience. The selection and choices of clothing fit me well. I like a lot of their jeans, shirts, sweaters, etc. In terms of history and background on the brand, Donna Karan worked for 15 years at Anne Klein, including 10 as its head designer. In 1984 Karan and her late husband Stephan Weiss were offered the opportunity to start their own business by the owner of Anne Klein, Takihyo LLC. Inspired by her daughter Gaby, Donna Karan founded DKNY in 1989 as a younger, more affordable diffusion line to run alongside her existing Donna Karan New York label. Many labels and brands have branched off of the original DKNY brand/label including DKNY Jeans, DKNY Active, DKNY Underwear, DKNY Juniors, DKNY Kids, DKNY Pure. DKNY Men, launched in 1992, consists of tailored suits, dress wear, formalwear, casual wear, sportswear, and shoes. In 2001 it was purchased by the French conglomerate corporation LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy). In 2015 Donna Karan left as chief designer at Donna Karan International, to focus on her Urban Zen brand and Urban Zen Foundation philanthropy. LVMH sold Donna Karan International, with the 'Donna Karan' and 'DKNY' brands, to the G-III Apparel Group in 2016 for $650 million. Now, that you know some of the history, you can now be assured that the fashion you buy at any DKNY, including this store in Wrentham is well made and top quality.
