Insurance requires a variety of steps to go through and I have chosen Columbia to work with. I tried another doctor first with no success and giving it one more shot. My brother is an anesthesiologist in Virginia and also practices pain management, and sometimes the difference in success is not just the procedure, but the doctor doing it. We are now in step 1, with Dr. Soon, and she and the staff have been wonderful. The first test shots went like a breeze and was done with care and professionalism. Time will tell and I will update this as things progress.

From the moment I arrive, the staff are friendly, professional, and well organized. Check-in and check-out are smooth, appointments are usually on time, and I never feel rushed during my visits. The providers truly listen to my concerns and take the time to ask thoughtful questions. Treatment options are clearly explained, and I feel included in decisions about my care. I appreciate that the focus isn't just on medication, but on individualized pain management plans that consider long-term improvement and quality of life. The bedside manner is excellent, and it's clear the doctors and staff genuinely care about their patients. I've also had interactions with both the Hood River and The Dalles offices, and the level of professionalism and kindness has been consistent at both locations. Everyone treats me with respect and patience, which makes a big difference when dealing with chronic pain. Overall, Columbia Pain Management feels efficient, compassionate, and patient-centered. I feel supported, well-informed, and confident in the care I'm receiving, and I would recommend them to others seeking thoughtful, respectful pain management care.

I was skeptical that Peter could help me with my chronic stomach and colon problems, since traditional medical treatments had failed me. I was running out of options, so I decided to give him a try. After working with Peter, my precancerous colon polyps, and my chronic gastritis and stomach polyps have undergone a dramatic healing. This was verified by my gastroenterologist in my recent gastroscope and colonoscopy. Every year for the past 10 years I have had a colonoscopy and removal of anywhere from 7- 15 colon polyps. This year, after working with Peter, I had only one! Also, my stomach lining and the stomach polyps are completely healed after working with Peter. My gastroenterologist asked me what I had done differently this year to create such a remarkable change. Working with Peter was the only thing that I did differently. The tests don't lie. I also feel so much better. I use to have chronic stomach pain and nausea. That is now gone. I am also less fearful about having precancerous polyps in my colon. I am so grateful for Peter's exceptional expertise, relentless encouragement and genuinely compassionate care.

The website and receptionist said they are accepting new patients so I got them all of my reports and waited 20 day with not return call. I finally called them to find out they dropped the ball and that's why they didn't get back to me in the mean while I'm doing PT so I decided to wait. They said they would resubmit my paperwork to Dr. Stanley and give me a call back. A week later I received a call says that the doctor was not doing second opinions and felt the care that I was receiving was good and to stay there..... WHAT... I explained myself AGAIN... I'm almost 3 hours away I don't need a second opinion I need a doctor. I was told ok we will talk to the doctor and get back to you. Another week later they called to say the doctor would not be seeing me. So, here's my opinion I'm a Medicare patient and I know that doctors only need to see their quota and turn others away and that's fine but it took a month to get me this information when I could have been looking for another doctor. The only reason I waited this long is because I was told he was the best. Disappointed is beyond what I am you just don't treat people this way . Incidentally I call this morning to find out if there was another surgeon in the office that could help. She didn't ask for my name and, I went on to say it says that you're accepting patients is there another doctor at the practice taking patients she said no just Dr. Stanley and yes, we are accepting new patients. HMMMMM It's the doctors prerogative to see or not to see someone but it should never take 30 days to get back to someone in my condition or any condition for that matter.
