That said, I usually come in here to kill time thinking I won't buy anything, but then I find something amazing and can't resist because I know it'd be just about impossible to get anywhere else... Last time I managed to find a volume of エコエコアザラク (Eko Eko Azarak). They also sell some of my favorite art books, like Curses by George Wylesol and Vermis by Plastiboo... If you're interested in manga, it's definitely worth visiting. I've seen them selling works by some of my favorite classic mangaka like Leiji Matsumoto, Shigeru Mizuki, Kazuo Umezu, Junji Ito, etc. and they even have things like GARO magazine back issues lying around.

Comics adventure has been my go to stop for comic con badge pick up for a while, but I've never had…read morethe pleasure to shop around until this week. I had called looking for specific comics ( I seem to call hobby stores with very niche requests) and the gentleman who answered said he had what I was looking for, and more. Here's the catch, I called 5 mins before close and was 6 mins away. He generously said he would be hanging around the shop and it wouldn't be a bother for me to come in late. Pulled in, and he helped me get everything I needed. Not to mention the cost was incredible fair and well below the budget I had placed for myself. Outside of the amazing customer service, the store is incredibly organized, clean and bright. I'm excited to come back when they aren't closed and browse around.

Don't be intimated by having to ring the doorbell or go down to the basement to get to back issue heaven! Comics are somewhat organized by .50, $1, $3, and $5. They also have a large number of completed sets that would make any avid collector drool. The owner, Richard, is super friendly and is the type of guy you want to support and succeed. I heard he has a grand official opening weekend so be sure to go and support- you might even get some half off deals. Half the fun is finding some golden gems here. I can't say it's organized since I saw the same issues in the 1 dollar bin as I did the 5 dollar bins, but again did I mention how satisfying it was to find a back issue my son was looking for when you do find it? Ask richard about the school and teacher program. Wish my LCS had this program....!!! Keep it up and congrats, Richard!

I did some research on all the local shops near my place before deciding where to have my membership and this one definitely rose to the top of the list. If you're like me and really want to be able to adjust your list via email instead of by phone, they've got you. Total selling point. Dunno who the people are complaining about the owner, he's always been perfectly professional when I've been around. And the other folx who work there are just the best. Guess you can't please all the people all the time, or whatever. Also, whoever keeps breaking in and stealing stuff should really knock it off. If you're confused at all, it used to be called Cloud 9, but changed to Tasteecat because our naming laws in this country are a bit archaic.
