They always got some great sports boxes too - even some vintage stuff you don't find in many places. Sometimes their singles can be a bit over market but it's never egregious. Absolutely amazing customer service! I've been here several times and I'm greeted as I walk in every time! They have a few nice cases of MTG cards with an easy way to view them. Often times I find some free items they are recycling rather than throwing away. They are consistently giving me small discounts on my purchases because they've recognized me as a regular customer which makes me feel seen and valued. One time they gave our kid some free Pokémon cards and that absolutely made his day. We need more businesspeople that care about the customer's experience in their shop like you guys! This card shop reminded me of the card shops I grew up to in the good ol' days of collecting. They had a bunch of singles, boxes, packs, toys, jerseys, video games, and more! The place was messy, but it was a kind of messy a collector like myself love and appreciate. The workers there was very friendly and helpful. It was Veterans Day and one of the workers asked me if I was a veteran (because of my sweater). He genuinely took the time to thank me for my service. After our 10 year old son bought a video game, he asked what was his favorite sport? After our son replied "baseball", the worker gave him a grab bag of baseball cards. Our son was so happy. Went into the store with my 7yo for the first time to get Pokémon cards. Not only did they have a great selection of new and used cards to choose from, but the customer service was exceptional. I Came in looking to trade some cards for a metal celebrations Charizard they had and they refused to take a card I had pulled when I was 11. Finally got to visit this place for the first time on Saturday. Has all the persona and charm of a LCS. It's got a bit of organized chaos for sure, but tons of great products. Like most card shops some of the pricing is a bit inflated, but I'm ok with paying that to support a local business. All the guys were friendly and willing to help if needed. Called at 7:01 when they close at 7:00. They still picked up. I asked if they had any Shawn kemp cards because we were going to go meet him and wanted to get his signature. They said they did have some, but they were closed and I would have to come back tomorrow. I was leaving for Seatle that night though. Sadly I called everyone else and couldn't find any or anyone open anymore. Right when I had sadly given up I get a phone call back from super sports cards saying they have 5 Shawn kemp cards and they are leaving them outside the shop taped in front of the door. I almost cried. One card is for a kid in a mental hospital that really wanted it. This just made his world. I will be coming back and sending all my business to super sports cards. Love buying my baseball cards here. The guys behind the counter are super helpful. They're very patient and down to earth. Zero pretense here. When I come in with my kids, they get the same treatment. They give them quarters for the gumball machine and extra cards from the baseball card days in the past. They realize my kids are the next generation of collectors and buyers and I love that. Pretty good selection of Panini and Topps. Fire, Allen and Ginter, Prizm, Chrome, Bowman, etc. I feel like this is my local hobby go-to mom and pop card shop. Is it a little disheveled inside? Sure. But it's part of the charm. My good friend runs a website highlighting the best of the best when it comes to ridiculous sports cards - (www.FunnyBaseballCards.com). So, wanting to be helpful, I took it upon myself to seek out funny cards to contribute to the site. Super Sports Cards is a small shop, but it appeared to have pretty much anything a card collector would be looking for. I skimmed through the bargain box and found an autographed Carlos Boozer card for $7.50. It was more than I wanted to spend, and was indifferent about having an autograph, so the guy working offered to find a regular card. Three boxes later, a plain card of Mr. Boozer surfaced, along with a guy named 'Slick Watts' which I instantly loved and bought. Nearly-vintage bubblegum card packs sold for 50 cents. Curious, I bought one from each decade. My total came to less than $3. The guy helping me was super cool and even suggested a few cards that were later censored for various reasons. read more

This place is super cool and the guy who owns it (pretty sure it's Dave) made a really great impression on me, He is super friendly and welcoming... But the really impressive thing is this - This younger guy comes in, who is clearly on the autism spectrum, and it is obvious that he comes in a lot... he had his McDonald's and he announced he was there to have his lunch. He kept asking the owner all kinds of random questions, telling him stuff about his family and his plans, interrupting customers (it was rather busy actually), and most people would say being a bit annoying. This guy had POOR boundaries and social awareness, etc... If you get the picture... But Dave was just infinitely patient and warm with this guy, took it all in stride and managed to keep everyone in the store taken care of. Kudos, sir! Support this family business. I took the 1897 Rob't Fitzsimmons heavyweight championship souvenir coin into this store. I was confused of its value. There was one website that said its worth $200 but it was (and still is) being sold on ebay for $390. So i asked the guy that seemed to be in charge what he thought it was worth. He looked at it through his magnefying glass for 3 seconds and with a straight face said "he would just throw the coin in a 25 or 50 cent box." Obviously this toilet ship couldnt find his ass with either hand. Its an ultra rare coin and he didnt know what it was. You got to question any alleged businessman that doesnt know the business. And just how much smoke hes blowing up peoples asses. I tell everyone i know not to be a customer of this store read more

I went to Super Sports Cards because of their strong reviews to liquidate my baseball card collection. Having multiple boxes and a lot of mismatch items, they dove right in and after reviewing made a fair offer. As we concluded the transaction, I could not find a valuable autographed card. I second guessed if maybe I had left it at home. Returning home, the card was no where to be found. I called back the next morning, they looked, found the card, and arranged payment to me. This place is freaking awful. If you want a good knowledgeable place on sports memorabilia look elsewhere. It was my first time in this shop. I was impressed with the layout but I received piss poor service. Maybe the gentleman behind the counter was having a bad day and he wanted to treat me like crap. I don't need to be talked down to especially when I don't know you and it is my first time here. Sad to see but I am sure there are other shops around that treat all of their customers with great service and not leave them with some smart a** remarks. read more

Horrible service, the old owner Jeff was a great guy and very helpful. Since the new guy runs the store its gotten too crowded and become way overpriced. This place is yet another run of the mill card shop looking only to make money even if that means leaving others penniless.
