Cannon Grinder sandwich. Pepperoni, salami, mozzarella, and provolone. Solid.

Really cool place. Free board games to play, great variety of delicious food options, and solid selection of alcoholic/non-alcoholic options. They have karaoke at 9pm too?!?! Whaaaat? Check. It. Out. Definitely will be back!

This game was a ton of fun. The kids loved playing this competitive game together. And check out this giant Pac-Man game on the right!

I have gone a few times over the past year, and have felt the same dissatisfaction each time. With the scarce options in Gresham for games, I felt I should give them a couple chances. The video game selection is meek if that. With the most variety for new gen consoles XB S/X and PS5 (This would be fine if they didn't price things as badly). The sections for "retro" games are pitiful, with laughable selections. Any game you came in hoping to find, they've either priced it way too high in the glass case, or they don't have it. Serious price gouging overall, this can't be stated enough. It feels like a basement selection of games that nobody wants, or everyone already has. They even offer games that no longer have online services, rendering them useless to the buyer, at the same price as when these games released 5+ years ago. Do those games come with a warning before or after you buy them? At one point I was on the look out for an original Wii controller, when I called the store I got such vague answers. "We might have them" or a long sales pitch on their off branded Wii controllers sold in store (surprise! They are horrible quality and barely catch a read on the sensor bar) Surely they know the quality of these second market controllers they are selling/ promoting? Just a waste of money and time. The main attraction of this store seems to be the tabletop gaming. They have many events during the week, and I think that is helping with the overall traction of people going in and out of the place. It can't be their prices or selection! I truly think this place would be better off just pivoting to exclusively tabletop games, or AT LEAST take "retro" out of the name. Either way- if you're looking for retro games, don't waste your time here.

It's not often I go somewhere twice in a row and get the 5 star treatment. The owner of this sweet…read morelittle shop is the main reason we drove from Washington to Gresham; it is plain to see that he loves the joy his shop gives to children (and reminiscent adults). There's a little bit of everything here, cards and stuffed animals, magazines, vintage toys -- I am instantly transported back to the 80s when I walk in. While my son flips through binder pages full of Pokémon cards, my eyes explore the walls covered in plastic delights and search eagerly through the glass cases. One could totally spend an hour in here just looking at stuff (or playing the original super NES he has out for everyone). My son had a jar of coins and dollars bills that he brought with him to the store. After going back and forth on which Pokémon cards to buy, the owner throws in a deal for a large pack because he was out of the smaller packs, and then sees it's my 8 year old paying, and gives him a few cards for free. My son thinks this place and the owner are one of the most fantastic things he's ever witnessed in his short life. Support small business, go the extra mile to check this place out. It's more than worth it!!
