My name is Glenn Miller and here are my thoughts on Polaris and Columbia Powersports: I brought my 2019 Polaris Ranger 1000 XP EPS 20th anniversary edition in for a complete service. Kurt in the service department took the time to explain to me what all was involved in the "C" service what it would cost. I agreed and asked about replacing the belt while they had it and he quoted the cost to which I agreed and added to the work order. I had some aftermarket parts that were Polaris approved and asked for an install price to do it while it was there...again, Kurt to time to explain to me what it would take to do it and quoted me a priced and I agreed to it. During the service a couple of parts were found to be in bad shape and in need of replacement and Kurt called me to let me know and ask before he just did it and hit me with an unexpected charge. I agreed the work should be done and Kurt quickly took care of replacing the parts. Then an unexpected situation arose with a very expensive part that was found to be bad and Kurt called me to discuss my options. Now remember my unit is a 2019 and WELL out of warranty, but Kurt suggested I let him contact Polaris to see if anything could be done on their end. Much to my surprise Kurt called me the next day to let me know that the Polaris techs had walked the service tech through a few steps to identify the issue with my part. It was determined that my part was IN FACT faulty and Polaris stood behind the part and sent a replacement to Kurt to install. The only cost to me on the part was the installation charge which was nothing in comparison to the cost of the part. All I can say is that Polaris, Columbia Powersports, Kurt as well as Brian in the service department all worked together to win me over as a CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!! Service like I received is pretty much unheard of these days and I want to let it be known that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Columbia Powersports, their GREAT service staff and Polaris to ANYONE in need of their product or services!!! Columbia Powersports doesn't list prices on anything quads, UTVs, dirt bikes, nothing. When I asked why, the salesman said, "that's what I'm here for." That line tells you everything you need to know. If a business hides prices, it's because they want control not to help customers. It's a shady, manipulative process that wastes time and insults anyone with common sense. In 2025, no serious buyer is playing guessing games. Transparency builds trust; secrecy kills it. This kind of "hide the number until you're in the office" nonsense belongs in the past. Post your prices, respect your customers, or keep losing them one by one. read more

More of a Polaris issue and not the dealer but a Polaris issue...I purchased the 2025 Polaris Ranger 570, and it has been nothing but a disappointment. The gearshaft/propshaft problem is a serious design flaw that Polaris is aware of, yet has not properly addressed. A machine at this price point should not fail so quickly, and customers should not be left with expensive repairs and downtime. Customer service has been unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility. Until Polaris acknowledges and fixes the gearshift issue on the 2025 Ranger 570, I cannot recommend their products. BUYER BEWARE - Columbia Powersports & KTM If you value your money, your time, or your child's passion for this sport, stay far away from Columbia Powersports and KTM. I purchased a brand new 2024 KTM 250XC in May 2024, believing I was giving my son the best possible equipment for the sport he loves. Instead, it has been the single worst purchase I've ever made. This "new" bike has been nothing but a lemon since day one. Within weeks, the bike showed major issues. It went back to Columbia Powersports, where it sat for almost two months. When it finally came back, we were told it was "fixed." That was a joke. It fouled plugs, overheated, and ran worse than before. For a brand-new machine that cost thousands of dollars, this is flat-out unacceptable. We took it back a second time--and it's now been sitting in their shop for nearly five months. Five months! That means this bike has spent more time locked away at Columbia Powersports than in my garage. Even the engineers with KTM can't figure out what the issue is. It has been stripped down, rebuilt, to stripped down and rebuilt several times now. Again, even KTM can't figure it out. During this time, my son, who has worked his way up through the sport, winning championships and advancing fast, was forced to miss races and even an NRA qualifying event he had worked so hard for. Let that sink in--his season, his momentum, and his passion derailed by a brand-new KTM that doesn't even run. I've had to buy another bike out of pocket just so he could keep competing. Meanwhile, I'm still making payments on this useless piece of junk. It took months of begging just to get the warranty paperwork--something that should've been provided immediately at purchase. If it weren't for one kind service tech who went above his role, I probably still wouldn't have it. At this point, I want nothing to do with this bike. I do not trust it, I do not trust Columbia Powersports, and I have lost all faith in KTM. To call this bike unreliable would be an understatement--it is dangerous. This entire experience has done nothing but waste my time, hard earned money and damage my son's racing career. To anyone considering doing business with Columbia Powersports and KTM: don't. Save yourself the frustration, the wasted money, and the heartache. They both will sell you a nightmare and then leave you holding the bag. Buyer beware. read more

Completely incompetent service department.......rust from an oem gas cap removed and replaced with another of same . After charging 1100.90 for cleaning system....... Same thing 1 year later. Zero service was told this was to be expected and ask to pay for service on second gas cap again. Piss poor service never will be back. Also bought brand new Polaris side by side that has had problems idling since day one which they can't fix . Don't buy from this organization or use its service they are pump and dumpers. read more

I went in there to find a Suzuki 500 King Quad. They told me that Suzuki doesn't make a 500 version of the King Quad and steered me toward the Polaris Sportsman saying you get more for less with it. Frankly the Polaris is junk compared to the Suzuki. These guys have no idea what they're selling. The sales people don't have any idea what the various machines do or how they work. I ended up with a Polaris, which I hate but since I have it I'll use it. The salesperson couldn't tell me anything about it. On top of that I requested one price and they charged me fees that equaled much more. I'm not happy. No wonder nobody was there shopping for a bike. Their service department doesn't know what the ATV's have or how they work either. Pick another place to buy! If you're looking for a deal don't go there. read more

I am beyond disappointed with the customer service or shall I see say lack there of. Purchased a brand new UTV and at pickup realized it had scratches on it. After over 15 phone calls throughout this process almost 3 months ago - still no resolve. We are unable to even get a manager to call us back. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Not certain that they even warrant a one star rating. Horrible experience. Took a day off work, drove 4.50 hours one way to look at a bike. They had it advertised at one price (which i was willing to pay), had a tag with a (higher) handwritten price on it when i walked in. After many questions (like why a NEW bike has discoloration on the muffler - and being told - i think they come from the factory like that?!?!?), we finally started to negotiate. At that point, they started out almost $2k HIGHER than the price on the handwritten tag on it when i walked in ($3300 higher than advertised). Total jerks. Salesman was clueless (it comes from the factory like that - smh). Needless to say, i did NOT purchase from them, nor would i ever! I traveled 3 hrs. from Louisville Ky to purchase a motorcycle. I work every day that they are open so I wasn't able to get there until 30 min before closing. The bike I was buying was a $10,900 bike, with 1,100 miles on it. I did not inspect the bike completely, as I should have, being that I was buying it from a dealership. 25 miles down the road I stop to get gas, one of the headlights is out. Since they were closed, I had no choice but to ride it home. I ordered bulbs replaced them and it didn't fix the issue, so the problem is electrica. Now I have a bike that I just payed $11,000 for that can't pass Kentucky state inspection until the electrical issue is fixed. Is it possible that the bike was fine when I bought it, yes but unlikely. read more

I went in and asked for a still manufactured, Suzuki sv650x, to be shipped to the store for my purchase. Michael Webb told me it definitely could be, and that would love to help me do that. We discussed financing. I felt I could do better at my bank, and I very much did. I called Michael and told him I would like to purchase, and work out payment for shipping charges. I gave a 1 star because they did answer the phone but that's all! Bought a brand new General XP 1000 from this so-called dealership I bought on Feb. 29, 2020 I took in for a belt issue April 25,2020 and apparently service team hadn't did their research and saw that Polaris was having a widespread issue with the belt on this machine. I was called by Columbia Powersports service guy and told it would need a new belt because we did not break it in properly really? He told me he would submit to Polaris but he had never gotten approval from Polaris for a new belt before. Guess who did do their research first before taking it in ‍ guess who knew it would be covered ‍ but I kept quiet and let them do their thing. So Polaris did cover the belt, yes we got a new belt ‍ however I knew Polaris didn't have a fix for this particular problem ( totally not CPS fault, I understood that) So here I am breaking in a new belt AGAIN properly and it starts doing the same thing again. I call Polaris and they tell me to take it in to Dealership and they would cover it just like the first time. I dropped it off on Wednesday 5/13/20 and was told I would hear by Friday what they were going to do . At 2:30 on Saturday 5/16/20 I decide to call because I have not heard a peep from CPS. I was told they were covered up and service guy was with a customer and if I left a message he would call me back ‍ So at 3:30 on Saturday 5/16/20 I decided to call back, guess what, yep still busy! So I said fine I'll wait on hold, after 10 minutes on hold the phone was picked up and hung up ‍ So I call right back and ask who owns CPS to which the employee ask who's calling I wouldn't think that mattered I just needed to know who to speak with before I contacted Polaris, mysteriously, no one knew who owned CPS they had never met him they only knew managers so after being transferred to another guy he didn't know the owners either ‍ but wanted to know what I needed so I proceed to tell him I was trying to get in touch with service. He replies on they are gone for the day they will be back in Monday at 7 so why am I being told service dept. was busy and they would call me back???? To which he didn't have a response but he did guarantee he would right a note and stick on their computer to be called first thing Monday morning. Good thing I know people that know people. So to the owners of CPS Eddie Collier and Alex Collier is this how you think a business should be ran? I stopped in a couple weeks ago regarding our 2011 CanAm Spyder RT. I wanted to consign it since this location has done service work and would have the records. This location has decided to stop selling CanAm Spyders. Other reviews are correct about delays; apparently getting parts out of the Canada factory is a nightmare and this dealer tries to get parts from other dealers to try to work around the delay. So this dealer has recognized the poor customer service, even for them getting the parts, so they now will neither sell nor service Spyders. For this reason, they would not take our Spyder on consignment. I have worked with Will in the service department and he has been very helpful with giving me the insight on the frustration all around. I am picking up our service records today, but I don't have a grudge or ax to grind about this place. read more

As soon as the deal is done they forget your name and have nothing to do with you. Service manager is rude and needs to be trained in how to deal with people. Finance lady is no lady. If I could give a negative star I would for there service department, worse yet. They do not keep to there time frame, and the guess work it seems to take place of how to run a business is a prevalent at this location. There prices are ridiculously high and give back your items that was brought in to get fixed comes out still broken. One would think if you are paying such a steep price everything will be taken care of and of a issue is seen it will be addressed. For example I got my car oil change and it cost 30 Dollars and I get my item oil change and it comes out to over 60 dollars like really and it should have been done in the first place. And on another item I could have been killed by yet another mistake. It took threats to go to court for it to get fixed which is ridiculous. I can keep going on and on about the service department. Because of the consistent mess up and false promises of items to be fixed I will make the hour drive to a responsibly priced shop that has there act together takes care of their customers and are very professional in Murfreesboro TN, called Sloan's Motorcycle & ATV. I have never dealt with a place so incompetent before in my life. The owner has an attitude that of which you are bothering her if you complain about the way her employees don't return phone calls when they say they will. I bought a 2018 CanAm Spyder and paid these clowns over 33000.00 for this thing. I have owned it now for 5 weeks and out of that 5 weeks they have had it for 2 out of the 5. If that isn't bad enough I still have for the most part the same problems as to when I first got it. Did they fix the suspension issue? Yes Did they fix the headlight adjustment? Yes. Did they fix the wobbling wheel/handlebars that shake violently between 45 and 55 mph? NO Did they fix the multiple error codes thrown of P0550 Power Steering Pres Sensor Circuit NO. They said the first time around for this problem it was the electrical contacts not making a secure fit. Only trouble is, after I got the bike back after the week long ordeal and in less than 2 hours it hit with the same error code again. I called them back they came and got it and another week goes by and the excuse given was that they had to charge the battery as this is what triggered the code? COME ON ALREADY. So you keep it a week to charge the freakin battery? And the handlebars are supposed to shake back and forth that is how Ian (their mechanic) say's spyders ride. Really? Watch the video from the link below and you will see what I mean. This is what they say is acceptable for a 33,000.00 piece of equipment. Would you accept it? Neither am I count on having CanAm hit with a lemon law claim. We bought a 2018 Polaris Ranger from them Friday May 18. We took it home and drove it on low speed Friday night just for an hour. We had a ride planned with friends on Saturday and we wanted to break it in a little like suggested. We met up on Saturday and started riding still in low gear on road and notice it shaking we turned around and went back to the trailer to see if we could see anything because my husband could tell something was wrong and he took the belly pan off and noticed a part missing. YES MISSING AND BRAND NEW. We called the Columbia Powersports and they were not helpful Freddy the sales manager even snickered about it. Needless to say my husband didn't appreciate the way we were treated. They eventually said they would come pick up the Ranger on Monday, fix it,and have it back that week. That Friday we still hadn't heard anything, my husband called and they hadn't even ordered the part. They said they would have it ordered and have the ranger fixed by the next Monday. Again Monday came and went no Ranger. Husband calls and the part still hasn't come in and they still haven't fixed it. My husband asked why they didn't just take that apart off another one in the store and they stated they couldn't because it would cost them $400 in labor. Really we just bought a brand new Ranger and you are worried about $400 in labor. This is the kind of company you would be buying from. They are now saying it will be this next week before it is fixed. We have bought a Ranger and haven't even gotten to ride it. They are very unhelpful people. Please do not spend your money here and get treated like we have. They do not put their customers first. read more

Terrible customer service stood at the parts desk waiting for help while the employee was on a personal phone call sitting at the desk the guy that came to help finally wasn't very nice either. I normally don't things like this, but I have never been treated as poorly and unprofessional as a consumer as I have been at Columbia Powersports Supercenter, it wasn't even by an employee, it was by the owner. They were trying to charge me over $200 to charge the battery on a $25,000 unit that's supposed to be under warranty. The owner says "i guess $250 means more to you than it does to me". I would strongly advise looking elsewhere before I did any business there. I would leave a review, but they had to take that option down after so many 1 stars and bad reviews. I have been in my same job for over 20 years at the same company, I can't imagine treating a customer the way I was treated there today. Instead of handling my concern as a customer, all he could do was talk down to me and tell me how "he owns 2 successful car dealerships". Really? First off let me say I had high hopes for this place. And let me tell you now, run run run. October 2018 I bought a brand new Polaris general 1000. Paid 16995. Within a month, my door panels started separating and door handles stopped opening the doors. Took it in for repairs and to have a service advisory performed for the door separation. After arguing with them for a month and a half, they finally agreed to fix the factory defects. Get my machine back, and the door panels were not even installed properly. Fast for to the present day, 9 months after purchase. I called and inquired about trading the machine in. Also note that my machine has over 5k worth of upgrades that was purxhase from Columbia powersports, and I'm given a trade in value of 10k for my machine that has less than 100 hrs on it. When I asked why the trade in value was so low, their response was that abernathys cycles was selling base model 2019 generals for 12.9k. I called Abernathy's immediately to verify. Abernathy's is selling a base model 2019 for 14.5k, not the 12.9k that Columbia powersports claimed. All I can say is buy else where because their service department is poor, their employees are rude and will lie to your face, and they will get extremely defensive when you call them out for lying and trying to deceive you as a customer. What a poor way of doing business and I hope this place goes bankrupt. read more

I'll give them one star because zero is not an option. Probably a wonderful place to buy something new (I'll never know now - I'll go where my business is earned) but avoid their service like the plague. Their constant "two weeks" became four months for some simple repairs and services. They never once called. Every time we spoke it was us calling them a week or two after they promised to call. Never an estimate despite repeated requests, just "we'll call you by the end of the week with that". We finally heard it's done. Went to pick up the Mule and there were still a couple things not done. Went to lunch, paid the bill (which was a surprise) and saw while loading they hadn't replaced the wiper because they'd stripped a gear. They promised they'd order the part and - you guessed it "call us in two weeks". We called them two months later and got "the owner won't do anything about it because it's been four months". You can't make this stuff up... It was four months because you took three months longer than you said, and you won't replace a part that you broke. The funny part - we're in the market for a new farm ATV, so is a friend. Thank god we know where NOT to go. read more

What can be said? This place SUCKS TO DEAL WITH. I bought a 2018 CanAm Spyder from these clowns. I wish I would have bought it from anyone else. The mechanics at this location are not mechanics and they will tear your machine apart and give some of the most ludicrous excuses as to why your machine operates the way it does. They tried to tell me that my Spyder was supposed to ride with the handlebars shaking back and forth and this is how they ride? After taking the bike here more than 4 times and given the most stupidest excuses known to man I decided to take it to Chattanooga to Whites cycle. Once the bike was taken to them the mechanic (a real mechanic) looked at the bike and found that I had in fact had a bad left front tire as I had told the mechanic from Columbia power sports. This guy took the bike and found it was missing multiple screws and was half assed put back together. So if you like being given BS stories and being lied to then this is the place for you. They don't give a damn about your safety nor your machine. I will NEVER buy anything from them ever again and I told them this when they called to ask about the service I had received from them. I would also recommend that if you do have a problem with a legal licensed vehicle from them and you take it to the dealer like I did, you can absolutely go after the manufacturer under the lemon law. I hired a law firm and they are pursuing my claim as my bike was at the dealership now 5 times in less than 2 months of owning it for the same problem. Don't expect help from BRP they will tell you that they don't and won't buy a bike back. That's BS. If they wish to sell their products in the state of TN they will buy it back. Like it or lump it, I am getting my machine bought back under the lemon law because that is what it is, A LEMON. read more
