This was our first pet boarding experience. And it was a great one! They were really good at following up by phone to assure we get them our vaccination records. Both for confirming our appointment, the safety of our and others pets. I may have not accomplished the task had they not called. The property is beautiful and well kept. The indoor area was very clean and welcoming. The staff is amazing and it is obvious they are there for all the right reasons. The fees were half of what we had seen advertised in our own area and as we were on vacation this was so comforting. We really appreciate your services, staff, facilities and loving care for animals. We will be back when in the area or passing by. We will and have referred you to others. Oh and I almost forgot the extra added blessing of a play date. I was ever so happy to pay the small fee of 6.00 so that Jake could go outside to play a game of fetch! read more

Not a fan of this place at all. I took my dog here once because it had been recommended by someone else. 1) The kennels are TINY and the dogs don't have an indoor/outdoor access 24/7 so they will end up peeing and pooping inside if they aren't let out enough 2) The kennels ECHO like crazy which just makes it SUPER LOUD. The staff even wear hearing protection when they go in there. Can you imagine what this is doing to your dog! 3) They charge EXTRA for "play time". I didn't get a clear answer on this question, but if you don't pay for play time, does your dog even get to go outside during the day at all!? Or are they just stuck in there all the time! 4) Staff was not friendly and didn't want to answer questions 5) The owner (i assume, older guy, retired doctor) has a real "I know better then everyone" attitude. I would not want my puppy stuck in this situation. Much prefer another local kennel which has indoor/outdoor access all the time for the dogs. read more

I just read a review that was completely false! The kennels aren't small! The dogs are allowed outside. Our kids had play dates. When we pull up the dogs cant wait to get out of the car and check in. Fantastic place and people. Our dogs are very precious to us; they would not be staying here if it hadn't passed our inspection or if our dogs showed any reluctance. read more

Took care of my "Houdini" of a dog, addresses my concerns and took great care of him. He was happy to go in and leave - having a history of separation anxiety this was great to see. I heavily on reviews for services as this. The price point is great, service is great, didn't mind me calling to check in everyday. Please consider using this service for boarding. read more

I have boarded my pets at Sagemoor kennels since 2001, and I wholeheartedly recommend their services. The staff go above and beyond, important to me, as most of my pets have had special needs. Complex care routines for an elderly pet with a serious digestive disorder were handled competently and reliably over many visits. My little rehomed Westie loves his stays at Sagemoor, and pulls to get inside every time we visit. These folks are experts, where dogs are concerned - and they have provided our family with fabulous care for many years. My adventure buddy just got back from another trip to Sagemoor Kennels so thought I would write an update to my previous review. Again, this review isn't for their kenneling services but for their grooming services. I am still impressed with their level of service and professionalism. The facilities are clean and don't smell, something you know is worth mentioning if you've been to some grooming facilities. The groomer takes notes on the customers preferences for how they prefer grooming to be done (ie., more, less, or no perfume, shortness of nails, etc.). My dog looks so good after coming back and smells good too and all for a good price. They ask that you drop your dog off between 8 and 9am and leave it for most of the day. read more

Columbia River - Pasco, WA: 04/03/11, we just picked up our Black Lab (Jake) after being gone on vacation...... This place "ROCKS"! ..... You can tell the owners and their employees love the animals! It's out in the country in Franklin County above the Columbia River. Jake enjoy's his daily walks around the surrounding farms. I wanted to take my dog here for grooming. The reviews and the website were promising. However, when I called, I was told the groomer was busy and would call me back, so I left my information. After two days and no word, I called back and was told the groomer was busy and would call me back. A week later, I still haven't heard a word, so I took my dog to someone else. This is especially sad for Sagemoor Kennels because I probably would have used their boarding services too. I can only assume that if they're unable to find time to accommodate (call back) their potential customers, they're probably falling behind in other areas of their business as well. We left our 3 huskies for 7 days while we took our grand kids camping. When we picked the dogs up they stunk . All the dogs were urine soaked. They Were left in the kennels not let out for exercise or potty breaks .Sagemoors excuse they were to hard to handle. The female is 12 and is fighting cancer, the male is 13 and can`t walk very good has arthritis, the other male is 4 and has a crippled back end! The owner called wanted to know how to make things right. How do you make that right? We will never use sagemoor kennels again! read more

The all time worst customer service ever given. They Did not let us know until we brought our dog for a kennel stay that he needed extra shots even though all of his shots were current. Nor was there a mention in the packet they sent to us about how many rounds of parvo he needed. Now we are stuck with no time to find him another boarder before our trip. The receptionist was completely non empathetic. I should have taken my friends advice, I was told never to use them, now I know why. read more

My dog can't get out of the car and back to the kennel fast enough. He loves this place. He must love the "dogginess" of it all. The staff here are super friendly, the place is immaculate, the fees are reasonable and over all I am confident my dog is in good hands. They are cool with giving meds and special diets and encouraged me to come out and take a tour before I boarded there. I will definitely be back. They do book up fast for holidays and summer. read more

My active aussie seems happy to stay here and if she's happy then so am I. I especially appreciate the extra care they take to verify health records after a baaaad experience at another local kennel. The kennels are clean and the folks who work there are helpful and pleasant. The offered option for daily walks is a game changer and much needed for active dogs. Thanks so much! read more

I left my dog at Sagemoor Kennels for two weeks. He was groomed and all his bedding was washed the day before going in. I sent food stored in baggies for a morning and evening feeding and special food to be given with his daily meds. I filled out their paper work of instructions and left contact numbers. When he was picked up they sent back the empty food baggies along with the med containers. I was told they would take him out twice daily if he did not potty in his cage. I also paid for him to be exercised daily. My dog will hold himself for 12 hours when needed. When we picked him up he stunk and was urine soaked and covered in feces. He was so bad we had to take him directly to the groomers. His bedding looked clean but smelled. He had lost over 4lb; his normal weight is just under 10lb. When I asked about him eating and the weight loss, I was told he ate everything and that I should take him to the vets if he is losing weight. When I told them how smelly he was. I was told the day before she had looked at him and he was clean. We paid almost $500.00 for two weeks of very poor care. It has been two weeks since we picked him up from Sagemoor and he has gained back his weight. read more
