This place is really cute. It's around $8 to play mini golf if you're not a Columbia association member, otherwise it's a dollar less. The course itself is really pretty and fairly clean. There's sand traps and "rivers". The water is dirty but that's expected. Sells ice cream and food. We also had an all day pass to the batting cages as well. Bats are provided along with helmets. It's done with a wrist pass, so there's no coins to get the cages started. So the GPS address actually takes you to an apartment residential area. The actual place is behind the plaza with Safeway and McDonald's. So try inputting those addresses instead! McDonalds: 5485 Harpers Farm Rd, Columbia, MD 21044 Go into the plaza and keep going straight back. You should see flags. read more

My boyfriend and I came here for a mini golf Sunday Funday adventure this afternoon and we were overall pleased with our visit. This is a multi-sport center located in Columbia, which offers mini golf, batting cages, skateboard park, mini arcade, and a mini snack bar. We paid $9.25/person since we were not a CA member. The mini golf course is decently maintained. I found it odd that half the course had water running and half did not in their "stream". Also, many holes had a lot of rock and leaf debris that made it difficult for the ball to roll smoothly and straight. This place is kid-friendly, but we waited anywhere from 5-10 minutes for each hole since it does take some time for kids to hit the ball into the hole. I honestly felt like some parents were rushing their kids or themselves since they felt bad for holding up the line. Overall, the course was nice and a decent place for families to enjoy a day out. One tip: this course is a lot more difficult than other mini golf places we've been to. I would not recommend this for little kids, as it was somewhat frustrating for adults. Some of the holes do not have "walls" and a wrong putt makes the ball go straight into the water. Also, don't park right next to the course. I actually quite enjoyed the mini-golf course here. There are some repairs needed, and it wasn't the most creative or kitchy mini golf I've been to, but on the whole, each little course was pretty and had some fun challenges. I liked that they named all the holes! The names were pretty standard (i.e. the rock, the dock, the trap) but it helped us keep track of where we were on the scorecard, and it kind of made it fun to guess what the name of the next hole was going to be. There were some fun bends and obstacles. I definitely plan to come back and play again some time. read more

Great park to dial in whatever you are working on. Clean and easy to skate. Great for all levels of skill.

Biggest issue is that they require adults to wear helmets in the slow pitch softball batting cages. No adult plays slow pitch softball with a helmet which means your batting timing will be off in a real game after using those cages. I can understand the issue for safety with children in the slow pitch cages but not adults. Many of the guys I know go elsewhere now for hitting practice. Other than that, the facility is nice. read more

I'm a CA member and this place is great for kids: batting cages, skate park & mini golf. I brought my two nieces & 2 nephews today and we had a really good time. Grievances: 1. I do wish there were two golf courses. 2. The building has fans, but no AC 3. Shade is few and far between and it's easy to get overheated. Hydrate. In fact, the should give you a free bottle of water when you pay. 4. This is a perfect place to put those sprinkler mister thingies, it's so needed. 5. The building should be updated so people can come & have lunch. 6. They should build a laser tag park. read more

I complain about living in the burbs. A TON But, little gems like this make me take a deep breath and feel a bit thankful. A few friends were in town, and since it was nice out, decided to find some batting cages. A quick google search found this near by. Pulling up to the location, it seemed a bit lack-luster. And it is. But the grounds are kept really clean, and the facilities all worked well, so in we went. For 6.25 bucks we got 6 tokens to the batting cages (16 balls for each token). The pitching machines pitched at 25, 35, 55 and 75mph. There were also softball machines, but we didn't look at those. The bats were fine, though a bit beat up (bring your own if you care) and the helmets were in great condition, with sanitary wipes available nearby for free. Afterwards, we hit the mini golf course. At $7 per person - this wasn't a bad deal. Don't expect the giant mindmills, stomping apes and the like - this is a bare bones course. There are some water hazards, a sand hazards, a koi bond and some rocks. Its set on a small hill, which adds some up and down to most of the holes. While not a tough course, I've played easier ones too. As a nice touch, there is a small snack bar with some video games inside if you find yourself getting too much sun, or just want to grab a water. The prices seemed reasonable. The SportsPark really is a nice part of Columbia. I know that these types of endeavors are hard to make really profitable, but do add to the appeal of a community, so I won't complain about my taxes going here. read more

I had the itch to putt putt and yelped a few places and randomly picked one.. What an unbelievable surprise! This outdoor putt putt course is in fantastic shape and has some really cool holes. There is a bridge and a tiny waterfall, and some challenging, fun holes. It can get backed up at times if it's busy, but worth the wait. Reasonably priced ($9 a person), and also has other cool amenities like a batting cage and arcade games inside. I'll be back. read more

This minigolf was tucked away. Once you see the safeway on the right and gas station on the left you've got to keep driving until you see the sportspark signs/flags. This is my favorite course I have played in my local area. It is the best course I have played that is not in a beach city. So we had a groupon for 2 rounds of mini golf and 24 batting tokens for $7. So we went on Fathers' Day - It was packed! If you don't like being stuck behind families with kids that take forever, I suggest you not go on the weekend. That said here's my review! The bathrooms were clean. The employees were young and kinda didn't seem like they cared what was going on but that's to be expected with young employees at a place like this. We played 2 rounds of mini golf - the course was fun and pretty much exactly what you expect at mini golf! And we spent some time at the batting cages.If you are taking young children to do mini golf, watch them! There are a few places throughout the course where they could very easily fall and land of the rocks below (one little girl did just that while we were there - thankfully she was fine.) And if you are wanting to have small kids or anyone wants or needs a helmet, bring your own or bring something to be worn on the head as a barrier between the head and the ones provided (they were super gross). Oh and of course bring batting gloves! Have fun, we did! read more

This place is one of Columbia's biggest gems. The mini golf course was recently re turfed and is looking better then it ever has before. The skate park was recently renovated and is constantly being maintained for maximum safety. New batting cages were installed last year, they are better then the old ones, now featuring pitch height control. The cages are not perfect and you may encounter a problem while practicing your swing. If this happens all you have to do is let a staff member know, they will take care of it quickly and give you an extra token or two for your troubles. Corporate outings at this place are FANTASTIC! I have been to a few events, they rent the whole place out, cater food, all you can bat, all you can golf, music, horse shoes, moon bounce, you name it! The best place in Columbia for corporate outings in my opinion. Many different birthday party packages are available to fit different size groups, and accommodate all budgets. As a kid I attended several birthday parties here, they were always my favorite and the parents seemed to enjoy themselves as well. They also have a summer camp intended for children ages 6-11 interested in skateboarding and or rollerblading. Camp sessions run for one week and include instructed skate lessons, frequent trips to CA pools, games and activities, and a trip to the bowling alley on rainy days. The staff is energetic, engaging, and most importantly, responsible. They are all very talented at skating and love what they do, most kids end up returning for more camp sessions either that year or the next year, they love it! Two words... mini golf! This place is a gre at family spot with lots to do. It's close to a grocery store, Rita's, and plenty of restaurants. Very chill setting. Why 4 stars? The water features were gross... it was beyond the fact they were old, they haven't been cleaned all summer and maybe even spring. We're not swimming in it, but it made me skeeve a little when my daughter hit her ball into a few and had to retrieve it with her hands... I would have left mine in the water if it were me! But, it was a great time. It has a batting cage I didn't try because I'm way too clumsy a playground, and an arcade with Mrs. Pac Man! It's a good easy Saturday or Sunday with the fam. read more
