Purchased April 2018 a "Brand NEW" 2017 Layton 293RK…read more 1,192 people saw your review! just on google 1,144 people saw your video! Cut and past "Rotten Rv Roof Tennessee" for You Tube video. Boat N RV's willingness to mislead, deceive and confuse senior citizens into purchasing a unit that was advertised as NEW and should have never been on the sales floor without a disclosure of thousands of dollars' worth damages caused by Boat N RV's Technicians that would need to be repaired. Deceptively leading us to believe the trailer had a factory warranty. This was the only reason we considering purchasing new. Also misled and deceived as to the true reason Boat N RV advertised the trailer as a "Manager's Special" and too the real reason the "owner" decided to drop the line. Several opportunities arose to disclose that the manufacture was out of business, but failed to do so. This left us with no manufactures warranty, no manufactures customer support, no source to procure the missing trailer manual and no source for OEM parts. Boat N RV advertisement was misleading. The pictures (taken at Panama City Store) in the advertising didn't match the unit in the showroom. (Bait and Switch) Boat N RV, deceptively rolling their out of pocket cost for the 1 year provided warranty in to our quote for a 5-year extended warranty. The quote we received and paid for was actually for the cost of a 6-year extended warranty but were told this was for a 5-year. Of the first 74 days of owning, It was in for service 31 DAYS. All work was denied Warranty Coverage. So I decided to cancel the warranty as it was useless. Boat N RV NEVER SENT OUR PAYMENT to American Guardian Warranty Service. AGWS rejected the contract for nonpayment. Due to this, I was entitled to a FULL refund. After 4 months of excuses, I contacted "Judge Judy" and was accepted to be on the show. I was called the next day and the check was in the mail. List of Damages caused by Boat N Rv Service Technicians I have found to date. Holes in roof/rotten roof decking - While buffing the AC cowling they sat the rotating buffing wheel on roof. 3 burn holes, resulting in about 24 sqft of rotted roof decking. We have 12 to 15 thousand dollars for repairs Knoxville Rv dealer estimate. Slide seals torn roof scraped - Slide hit while moving on lot. Extending pinched seals & slide roof. Evidence of slide tracks and adjusters being moved and left loose to the point the slide was ready to fall off while extending. We were told it was "Cosmetic Damage Only" Heated under belly sliced open to gain access - To align slide and replaced slide motor . They didn't even bother to reattach material and left it hanging open making it useless. Holes in furnace duct work and off vent- while working on slide. Hole Torn in Awning - No clue how they did that. Door handle - Broke into & tv stolen while in for service at Boat N RV. Holes (2) thru slide exterior wall - Installed dinette used to long of screws. Told me it was for an option not installed on the slide. Toilet Flush Valve Cracked - Improper winterizing by Boat N RV. I provided pictures of the leak and the invoice says "No Problem Found" Boat N RV has mishandled this matter from the very beginning. I sent a letter to Travis Gray that I would never bring my unit in for service, due to Service Dept. incompetence. I requesting to return the trailer for a full refund due to the damages I had found to date. Travis Gray called me July 2, 2018 and told me the matter would be turned over to the Corporate Lawyer. From that point on I have been hung up on, no response to voice messages, been told they out of office or on the phone. Only after the Tn Dept of Consumer Affairs Did I receive a response. Boat N RV refusal to take responsibility for the deceptive, misleading and confusing practices and pay to make the necessary repairs. This has been absolutely and positively the worst, most miserable, stressful, troublesome and trying purchasing experience!

Back in 2015, I emailed Boat N RV about their New Caravelle Razor line of boats. To my surprise,…read moreDon, the owner of the Company called me to discuss the boat. We Agreed on a build and pricing. The Boat was to be picked up in Americus Georgia, this way I could see the Production Plant and how the boats were designed and built. They would also take my wife and I to a local lake , for test drive ! It was a great experience that extends to 2019. I still have a relationship with the owner. I have had 2 times in ownership where I needed little things and Boat N Rv was very responsive to my needs and resolved the issue. I just damaged the hull on my boat ,I hit a piece of underwater floating debris on the lake after Hurricane Erma. Don is there again to help us out. Its hard to find good people these days. I thought the Wide World Web out there should know of our experience from Boat N RV, from Purchase of 2015 till 2019. Thx Don and Boat N RV

We called ahead to explain the situation, and they told us to stop by so they could take care of it. Dominic took care of us, and they fixed the toilet and completed a 21-point inspection on the travel trailer. We didn't have to pay, as it was covered under their warranty. We were out in less than 2 hours. Great people and great service. Highly recommended.

Take it in to be repaired under the warranty and it took 4 months of them lying, claiming it would be done the next day, having Dominic tell us repeatedly it will be done tomorrow then I'd call the next day and they have no work order, I kid you not this went on for 3 months, finally had to send a certified letter threatening them and miraculously, the parts came in only to be lied to more and pushed aside again and again. Told them everything wrong with it when I dropped it off only for them to act surprised when I mentioned the hot water heater. That added another month, I've never dealt with so many unprofessional liars in one establishment. Not one person in the building knows what's going on or who's fault it is but all assure me it's not on them it's the other guys fault, the only thing these people are on the same page about is lying and taking no accountability. Such a terrible experience. Do yourself a favor, if your looking to buy a camper, go anywhere but here because, I promise you, the sardine can they sell you, will break and you will wait months for them to fix it, they will lie to you and not one person in there will know what's going on with your camper while they have it. 4 months wasted, 4 months we could've been enjoying the spring and beautiful weather. Absolutely disgraceful place of business.

I would think carefully about whether to do business with this outfit. I purchased a used RV from…read morethem in February and had almost $5,000 worth of service done (engine service, replace all 6 tires, etc.). The sales guy (Cory) was great but their business guy was terrible to work with and their receptionist became unhinged when I complained about the poor service. Not a good buying experience but it has gotten worse. On my very first trip after I bought the RV a cover came off one of the wheels. It was pretty obvious it had not been tightened properly as the bracket that held it was still there and in perfect condition. When I contacted them they initially said it was covered by warranty. Then they later said I had to pay for a replacement and when I questioned them why the service people simply stopped responding to my calls, emails and text messages. I have reached out to their corporate owners but have not heard back as yet. EDIT: I reached out to Cory to see if I could get the name of the company that did the tire work and he responded back that they have ordered the part and are sending it to me. So I changed my review from one to three stars and would give Cory five stars.

Wish we got the Marlin Ingram service A team when we purchased our RV. We got the D team on ourRV…read moreservice . The Salesman Cory was excellent, reason for 2 stars. By himself he would get 5 stars. Per contract the RV was delivered, but we had to wait 30 days after close of sale and funds received, given this I included 2 weeks shop time and one crew became sick with COVID. The chassis AC was not fixed and remains a problem and generator was serviced. Problem generator leaked oil due to plug not being seated properly. We paid for a reputable mechanic to find the problem. Bottom line negotiate out repairs and go somewhere else for your service.
