Only problem so far from everything and everyone we would need. My fiance was not impressed by the bathroom but it was cute to see the gentleman showing us was very and asked us to check it out. He's right you can tell a lot by a place by looking at their bathroom, lol, so this kind of back fired since the fiance didn't like it. All in all it's $800 to rent a 4 bedroom house and way too much in our minds, we noticed somewhere else on Yelp they said this place used to charge $395 only a few days ago. Trust me, inflation may happen but in this economy it's better to rent it for less than $800 than not rent it at all.... We decided not to go with it because Woodstock is so out of the way we'd have to get our DJ, Photographer, Videographer, and then the Caterers! The most important thing is the food so I doubt our caterers would travel that far too! P.S. The pool house is only reserved for the house guests, I wish I could use it if I was having my wedding there!!!

When the room is set up for an event, especially in the evening, it is beautiful. The only challenge here is the parking. The small lot doesn't hold enough cars and parking along the dark side streets can be challenging and unsafe to walk, due to uneven sidewalk surfaces. I cannot imagine making this walk when it is icy or slippery out. Valet parking here can be an issue too with long lines to wait for service. I wish there was a better solution to parking. The food here is pretty tasty, as banquet places go. Prices are reasonable too.

The food was great, I believe we had the chicken Francese with potato and broccoli, a to-share big plate of beef brisket and another to-share plate of pasta. There was so much food, I couldn't even finish my personal plate. There was also bread at the beginning plus a plate of salad with a choice of Italian or ranch dressing. There was also a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a swirl of chocolate syrup on top for dessert. I would've given it five stars for all these. However, I chose 3 stars because of their sound system. Not only did the mic went on and off, the sound when it was on was screeching and was truly painful to the ears. If that can be fixed, then 2 thumbs up!

The wedding between Mitchell and Krystal was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their reception at the Crystal Palace , Mount Prospect, Illinois. This was the typical Assyrian reception with hummus, pita bread , samosas, followed by a salad. Red and White Wine was present at every table. The music was middle eastern as was the food. Meat kabobs and Chicken kabobs served with white rice. The food was very tasty , especially the Samosas. The Crystal Palace is adorned with Crystal Chandeliers throughout the banquet hall, hence it's name , Crystal Palace. There was an open bar , dancing , good food , music and a wonderful time was had by all as two families join together as one. The father - daughter dance was emotional. So too was the mother & son dance. Family and friends tossed money on the couple as they enjoyed their first dance as Man & Wife. It's tradition in the Middle East to shower the couple with money.

I was impressed with the care that went into the design of the these spaces. The rooftop restaurant and bar are great facilities. While we toured the area there was a yoga and juice party going on. The prices ended up being in the upper end of the price range we had. Then the saleswoman we had been working with told us that the prices did not include gratuity or taxes. This put the venue out of our price range.

I would describe it as wanting to be a boutique hotel but misses the mark in several areas. One example; orchids and plants looked beautiful at first glance but upon closer inspection they're all fake and looked cheap close-up. Our first night was delightful. We ate dinner on the rooftop and it was a beautiful night. We each got the filet mignon and it was delicious. Cooked to perfection with a peppercorn sauce that added just the right amount of complimentary flavors. Our 2nd floor room was pretty bad. It looked out onto machinery. They should put some kind of decorative decal on the windows so you can open the shade for light without having to look at the monstrosity beyond. It was next to the housekeeping closet and elevator bank. It was noisy. The Ferrero Rocher candies were there upon arrival, but were never replenished (we stayed 3 nights.) We never received turndown service, even though they advertise that. Also, when they cleaned the room (upon request) they didn't replenish clean glasses, coffee pods, additional toilet paper. Ice machine on our floor never looked like it was turned on. We had to go to lobby for ice. Regarding lobby reception staff; one woman was just unpleasant, never smiled, seemed put off if you asked a question. On the other hand, a man who worked nights was just delightfully helpful, a treasure. A third woman who checked us in was nice, friendly and witty. The rooftop was closed for events for 2 of the 3 nights we were there. It was never clear to us if we had access to the rooftop before/after the events. But, it was the only place you could go to hang outside your room besides the lobby. The beds were INSANELY comfy. This was my favorite part of the stay. Everything was clean and there were handy charging ports on each side of the bedside table. The bathroom door was a sliding full length mirror which was great. I just wish there was a way to lock it. Loved the rainfall shower head that easily switched to a handheld spray! Very simple to use. Loved it!
