Very friendly! Quick, quality service. I am a full time RVer and coming here I fully expected to have to wait a week or more to get my tire fixed. They had an H rated tire IN STOCK. A new quality tire was on the rim and I was on my way in less than 30 min. I was amazed. This seems kind of cliche, but I actually felt like I was going to a friend's shop. Simply outstanding. When you have a tire going flat on your truck and you're in Columbus, these are the people to trust. I managed to get my truck to my station, then called these people. They sent a mobile repair crew over to take care of my truck while I was at work. They took care of the work within a very short time and at a very reasonable price. When I returned, my truck was just where I parked it, but with a fixed tire. If I'd been in a larger city, I'd have had to get the tire inflated somehow (or change the tire) and then get to a tire center. In small town Texas, you get mobile service at an exceptionally fair price that comes to you. read more

We had a blow out on our 38 ft 5th wheel RV. We purchased 4 of the 5 tires (kept the spare) had them mounted over the next two days and my husband put them back on the RV. When he had them all on he checked the pressure which should be 95 psi for F rated tires, these were 80 psi E rated. This unit requires F rated. We went right back to the shop and requested they exchange the wrong tires for the right ones understanding we would need to pay the difference. We were told that they would not, it was our fault for "accepting" the tires. We are not tire experts. We came to a tire shop so we would get the right tires. read more

Had a trailer blow out about 20 miles from their shop. I limped my trailer to their shop and parked my setup along side of their shop before they opened that day. I hopped in my other truck that was following me, went to Houston to complete a job. Called when they opened and let then know that I was the owner the the pickup truck/trailer and where my spare was. They got it switched out and ready for pickup before I completed my job. I had a blowout heading west on I-10 yesterday. I replaced the blown tire with the spare and limped into Columbus to find a tire shop. I pulled up to Columbus Tire at 5:20 on a Friday desperate to find anyone that could replace my tire as I still had to drive another 3 hours and didn't want to do that on a spare. As I walked up to the front door I notice they had closed at 5:00 so I started to walk away. The owner, Hadley, came to the door and asked if he could assist me. I told him what happened and acknowledged that it was after closing time and I would head down the road. And without hesitation the owner offered to help me and replaced my tire! Hadley replaced the tire and had me ready to get back on the road and gave me an amazing price on the replacement. I can't say how appreciative I was for his help, he stayed almost an hour after they had closed on a Friday just to make sure my trip was safe. We were going from San Antonio to Houston and saw our back right tire was shredded! Luckily this business was open on a Sunday and he was fast took him 10-15 minutes to get to us because my mom gave him the wrong location of where we were but he was fast and very polite. Came here today on the drive from Houston back home to Austin because the tire light on my rental car turned on. I had my 4 month old and no idea why my front left tire was all of a sudden flat. I was helped quickly when I walked into the office area and Chris found the issue (valve stem was broken) & told me he'd get it up on the lift and fixed for me. I was in and out within 40 minutes which, with an infant, was amazing! Since everything was done so quickly I was still able to get my son to his doctor appointment in Austin on time. My spare tire went flat, so I went to the nearest tire shop. I bought two tires, a replacement tire, and a new spare. I just recently used the tire they sold to me. It immediately went flat on my way to my job. I called to ask for the policy on tires, "If there is no warranty on the tire, I can not give you any money back." She claimed that there was something wrong with the inside, or it was caused by my doing. I repeated that it was the very first time I used it on the road, and her response was the same. Becoming very frustrated I ended the phone call. It was only until I went to discount tire, that I figured out the real issue, they ended up selling me the wrong size for my vehicle. I ordered four Goodyear tires for my fifth wheel travel trailer. These folks got the tires in the next day, scheduled me in and had new tires mounted, balanced and installed in about an hour and a half. They took the time to verify that these were the tires I wanted, they ordered new lug nuts as I requested and torqued to specs. These folks are exceptionally friendly and accommodating and really went above and beyond for their customer. These folks were a really great find. The dash on the car sent a signal of low tire pressure. It was 6 PM on a Friday traveling between San Antonio and Houston. I pull into the service station to inflate the tire and here the dreaded whizzing sound of air escaping the tire. With 75 miles left to go and two hours of daylight left the spare tire wasn't going to be my optimum solution. Searched for tire shops using the Yelp app on my smart phone and turned up a couple of options starting with Columbus Tire Center. I crossed my fingers and called fully expecting to get an automated message but lo and behold I got a human! Brandon informed me that they were in fact closed but stated he could come meet me at the shop (5 min away) and look at my tire. He advised there would be an extra charge to open shop back up and I gladly obliged in light of my options. Brandon met me their promptly, removed the tire, removed the nail in the tire, patched and plugged the tire in 30 min and had me back on road. It was $50 will spent and I was truly grateful to get any service let alone prompt and courteous service well past beer-thirty on a Friday in a small town. read more
