Turns out Jiffy lube really screwed me. Open the top and oil was everywhere. The skid plate was left open, oil leaking out the bottom because the cap wasn't on. I pulled up to these guys right before closing and they really helped me. I just bought extra oil and the service they didn't even charge for. Turns out jiffy lube took my clips and screws, so they even helped me with that. Thank you to the manager, red head and cashier terry for all the help. Really appreciate it guys!

Walmart as bad as they have gotten as far as taking care of customers. They are extremely lucky to have Steven working for them. I purchased 4 new tires from Walmart and purchased the roadside hazard with the tires. My luck would have it, I hit something going down the road and damaged my tire. I took my vehicle to Walmart to have the tire repaired. I have all terrain mud grip tires. After they were finished installing my new tire I walked outside to leave. Much to my surprise I couldn't believe it. They put a regular everyday tire as the repaired tire. My truck was literally setting leaning to one side. I was like are you freaking kidding me. I went back in the store and thank God I was lucky enough to have Steven help me. Not only did he fix the mistake at no cost. He ordered the right tire from another store. He worked on getting the proper tire for over an hour because I purchased the original tires from Walmart.com. Apparently Walmart and walmart.com are two separate companies. He had to walk across a desert, fly halfway around the world, and kill 16 people to get this tire ordered. But he got it done. I have seen so many times where the employee just simple says "sorry I can't help you": If walmart was smart they would make Steven a district manager over several stores. They won't ever find a harder worker and an employee that cares about the customer. I have my own little construction company and I wish I had guys that would work half as hard as Steven. The guy really impressed me as you can see. Walmart should definitely move this employee where he can benefit them even further. Thank you Steven for a job done above and beyond the call of duty. Your were greatly appreciated.

I was able to get the tire inflated thanks to the valet crew so I could get home but desperate to get the tire fixed before I had to shuttle my client around all day and evening. I found Montrose Mobile Tire here and was so impressed by the number of 5-star reviews. Made an easy online appointment for early the next morning and Oscar showed up on time and had my tire permanently patched in 15 minutes. He was so professional and helpful and I was on my way on time to pick up my client. There was a second part to the story, however. The tire started going flat within a couple of days. Normally this would lead to a negative review but I reached out to Oscar and explained the situation. I was able to get an immediate appointment and he discovered that he had had 1-2 other incidents where the patch had still resulted in a leak on this particular tire and it also could have been a faulty patch. Either way, he triple checked my tire for any other causes for the leak and installed a new patch and tested it, leveled the air pressure in all my other tires and said to call him if there are any other issues with it. While it took two trips, I appreciated the quick response, the dedication to making things right and his willingness to address any issue if one occurred again with the tire.

Within 1 hour they managed to get me back on the road again, with almost no hassle and for less than $100 out of my pocket. As my car sat along the street, a mobile trailer came within 30 minutes of my call and they were able to access my tire situation extremely quickly. It was revealed that my stock tires were not regular ones that come on most cars and that due to the inner foam that the tires have, it would not be as simple as just pumping them up and patching them. The service felt genuine, if not a little rushed, but it was really interesting to watch them in action. They noted that they also sell tires if a total replacement is needed but in my case, it was a quick patch. They were very thorough in helping me understand the process, even going as far as to tell me what I can do in the future if I ever come across something like a nail through my foam-laced tires. (#1) They were also very good about helping me understand how to approach a tire problem at a tire store if I ever decided to go that route. The bottom line was that they were willing to work with my budget and offer me something affordable, quick, and ultimately, painless. Oscar was the man running the show, but was guiding Luis (?) while repairing another vehicle. The total came out to be $95 for my emergency and they were timely, communicative, and even provided an on-the-spot PDF in my email. It was an ideal transaction and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to utilize their services again. ____________ (#1) A special tar does the sealing trick. Is it that simple?
