Update: the dishes are still the same standard after all these years. Delicious with plenty of ingredients! Definitely my go-to place for comfort food. Service is still as fast and the ambiance is basic and functional.

Ordering the classic Pho Dac Biet with everything beef together including meats, meats balls and others... with cilantro and beef bone broth... plus rice noodles rolls with pork n shrimp with dipping sauce of peanuts... Tasty n delicious and make a good choice for brunch in Vietnamese pho noodles... Place were clean enough and busy on the weekends..

I've tried this place once before and I was really happy the last time I got it ; there's one person taking care of all the tables and it's an older man. He's probably about 90 years old and still getting around, God bless him. But if you need something, you have to make sure that you say everything that you need otherwise you may not be visited at your table again. Their prices have REALLY risen, not too surprising with everything in our world going up in price. I always like to try several things so I jumped into the soft shrimp rolls, The peanut sauce it was served with was warm and just really tasty. Had a beautiful presentation. Lots of crushed peanuts on top, which i loved. After reading the reviews, everyone was raving about them, and I absolutely agree. They are fantastically flavorful! I love when you bite into the role how crunchy it is because the lettuce is so crisp! I think mine had a piece of a eggroll accidentally rolled into it because it had some crunch which I've never seen. I don't mind. It was just kind of a funny surprise. I ended up ordering the eggrolls also (which are also known as cha gio) I ordered two probably because I'm addicted to them, but I don't wanna eat them if they don't have all the veggies that come along side them, which includes Romaine, mint, and usually daikon or carrot with the most delicious fish sauce. Again, if it doesn't have fish sauce, I don't want it! After placing the order for only two I got them naked!! The rice paper they must use for the rolls is different from what I've seen in the past because they were really fried to a crisp. I ended up having to place an order for the entire quantity of five ( $11.99 )in order to get my vegetables and fish sauce. I guess it's worth it. I'll be eating it for the next couple days. I got my usual Com Tam Thit Nguog and it was DEVIIIIINNNNEEEE! The best was so soft, slightly sweet bbq, mildly seasoned to perfection! Then it came out somewhat usual, but there were some additional things on it. I think it's chicken. Oh, it's the shrimp bean paste! Mystery solved! Tasty mystery! They also give a side of soup, which if that is the base to any of the PHO soups, I highly recommend!!!! This was scrumptious!!! I definitely will be for pickup next time!

The spring rolls were great! Fried egg rolls w lettuce wraps was delish. We tried a 10 pc platter that had the most delish shrimp egg rolls. I went back again. Had more spring rolls. And ordered a seafood noodle stir fry (it was just ok). The owner is really nice. Sh stops you from ordering too much. She has a good heart.

I'm not sure how I never knew about this place. It's next to Lee Lee Market Orange Grove and La Cholla. Walking in, the place is well lit and looked clean. We were greeted immediately and seated. The greeter gave us menus, then came back about 5 minutes later with water and to take our order. We were no where ready to order (the menu is huge). Another server came back and took our order: spring rolls, shrimp Pho (for me) ad shrimp with vermicelli (for friend). The spring rolls were served with a peanut sauce and were huge and delicious. My Pho had a lot a shrimp in it and the side serving of bean sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeños was just the right amount. The Pho had the perfect ratio of broth to noodles and shrimp. Friend's shrimp (it's a cold salad) was delicious and was served with fish sauce. I'm looking forward to returning to Com Tam.

Stopped in for some quick pork fried egg rolls appetizer before dinner...shhhhh! Don't tell my kids;)

I have come here tons of times in the last 10 years and have never been let down! Absolutely the best Vietnamese food in the Tucson area. If you don't know what to try... Try the spring rolls, pork, fried egg rolls, or any of the vermicelli dishes

I had really high hopes for this restaurant because it's often very busy, has an authentic ambiance and smells good. Unfortunately my pho broth was so salty with little additional flavor. The way I judge the quality of pho is by first sipping the broth. It was so salty and not at all the classic depth and savory flavors I associate with pho. It was extremely disappointing. The rolls were delicious at least. There's a few Vietnamese places in town so I'm glad this exists for others but it's not one I plan to return to any time soon.

The food is pretty tasty, well seasoned, but maybe salty for the average American not used to a more authentic homestyle Pho dish. The fresh spring roll is quite big which is great and tasty but I didn't really like the peanut sauce. Overall I rated it 4 stars. The service was fast and servers were very friendly and attentive, the food portions are good

    #77 with beef

I've gone by this place so many times and finally went for lunch today. Service was great. The lady working was bubbly and friendly. The elderly gentleman that was serving amazed me at how much he was able to do, he looked at least 80. We started with #2, shrimp and pork spring rolls. The perfect summer food, very light and fresh. I had #77 with beef and it was the best bun I've ever had. The beef was tender and a tad sweet, very very flavorful. I loved the shrimp egg rolls that came with it. My friend had the pho and it was delicious. Every single table had at least one bowl of it. Keep scrolling past the negative reviews. This place is a gem. I can't wait to return.

Each of us got something different. We got Pho ($13.99), broken rice dish ($13.99) and clear noodle soup ($12.99). The pho broth was bland and very little meat. The clear noodle soup broth was decent and clean, had shrimp and meat. The broken rice dish is what they are known for but the bbq meat was really chewy and didn't have the char taste, it was rubbery. For the price, I can't complain but the quality was not there. I guess that's what attracted a lot of working people during lunch, saw mainly construction workers. Plenty of parking in this plaza. The restroom is inside the super market, walk through the double doors.

The name on the sign outside is not the same as shown here or anywhere else. The website looks very professional and delicious, yet the annoying advertising that plagues it is a 100% distraction. The food was authentic and good but I've had better. Usually the pho is served with plenty of fresh basil, lime etc but here I got a scant portion. Don't get me wrong it was good but not great. The depth of flavor was just shallow. I think we should return to try other traditional dishes before passing judgement. Right next door is Lee-Lee Market and I'll be shopping there soon. Standby for updates

I showed up shortly after 11am to place a take-out order. I think it took about 20 minutes for my order to be fulfilled. All the components to my bun were fresh and everything tasted as it should. The grilled meat was flavorful, but a little bit overcooked. I loved the fried spring rolls, I only wished they were bigger and more than two. My next visit, I'll place a side order. There was a slight language barrier, but nothing serious. They're nice people and try to be as accommodating as possible. The restaurant appeared clean. You can either enter from the parking lot or through Lee Lee's store.

Do they sell liquor ? If not, can you BYOB?

That broth they give you as a side when you order a com tam/rice plate, is there a way to get that in a big bowl?

Yes, this soup base is for a dish called "hu thieu" which is a noodle soup. You can order it as a soup entree.

Easily the most Vietnamese I've seen in a crowd at a restaurant in Tucson, which says a lot about the authenticity. I ordered the veggie pho and it absolutely hit the spot. Clean, flavorful broth, fresh toppings, and that comforting "pho therapy" vibe you just can't fake. The menu has great variety (hello boba options ), and everything felt casual, welcoming, and community-driven. If you're craving legit Vietnamese comfort food -- especially good pho with real flavor -- this one's worth the stop. I'll definitely be back.

I tend to read reviews prior to checking out a place, but I have had the pleasure of eating here…read more3x. My first experience was when my best friend door dashed me an order on my birthday when I was sick. Let me tell you the Phô hits the spot when you're not feeling well. I have stopped in two other times and both have been great experiences. The large Phô was more than enough to fill me up. (6'3", 250), added with a boba tea made my experience that much more enjoyable. Now, for those who are concerned about MSG, take the time to do a little research. It's about as rare as celiac disease.... Everyone claims to have it. Can it be an intolerance, sure as with anything, but our body uses sodium physiologically and the other part is an amino acid that naturally occurs as well. That amino acid is derived from vegetables. So I call BS, but whatever. Monosodium glutamate (MSG) and sodium chloride (NaCl, table salt) differ primarily in their chemical structure and sodium concentration. MSG is a salt of sodium and glutamic acid (an amino acid) containing ~12-14% sodium, while NaCl is a compound of sodium and chloride containing ~39-40% sodium. MSG provides umami taste, whereas NaCl provides saltiness.  Key Chemical Differences: Chemical Formula and Structure: NaCl: A simple ionic compound, with a cubic crystal structure. MSG: A salt of glutamic acid. (monosodium glutamate hydrate), which contains a sodium ion and a glutamate molecule. Sodium Content: MSG has roughly two-thirds less sodium by weight compared to table salt. Production/Source:NaCl: Obtained through mining or evaporation of seawater.MSG: Produced through the fermentation of starches, sugar beets, or sugarcane. Flavor Profile: NaCl provides a purely salty taste. MSG triggers the umami (savory) taste receptor, enhancing flavor without high sodium levels. Appearance: Both are white, crystalline, but MSG crystals are often longer/prismatic (like "mini snowflakes") while table salt is often granular or cubic.  Impact in Cooking:While both enhance flavor, they function differently. MSG adds savory depth (umami), while salt provides salinity. Due to lower sodium levels, MSG is sometimes used to reduce total sodium intake in food, providing savory flavor without excessive sodium.  So Newton Pho.... Keep serving up your yummy goodness. I appreciate it!!!

It's not going to be the best you ever had in your life, and if you've been to Southern China, you're not going to be blown away. HOWEVER, it is the homemade taste that makes it good. It doesn't feel like any other restaurant, it feels like you are at somebody's house. Here's the thing, I came in expecting the usual Chinese food affair, but I left genuinely surprised and impressed. This restaurants specializes in Southern Chinese food, which is different from other regions. I am so happy this restaurant and its chains helps the cuisine gain exposure and adds depth to Chinese food in general. Even better, the menu is laid out in a way that it is easy to understand: gluten-free options, allergies, and spice level. The service was great. All though it isn't a "full" sit-down restaurant, everybody there seemed to know the menu well and was happy to be there. As a Cantonese person, it was nice hearing my language being spoken in the kitchen. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean and very modern. We came during early dinner time so the parking lot was near empty and easy to park. Overall, if you've never had Southern Chinese food or are looking for something more authentic than classic Chinese takeaway, definitely check out this location. The cherry on top are the big portion sizes and the price.

I was craving Vietnamese food while out here, and am very glad I found Saigon Blossoms. I had the Bun Bo Hue (BBH) and it was absolutely delicious. The soup was a bit spicy from the chili oil but it was so good! It also doesn't come with its original variety of banana leaves on the side but they do give you some veggies and sauces (meant for pho) along with your dish. One thing I might add is, it is a very, VERY big bowl of soup/noodles. I really wish they had a bigger spoon because it felt like it took me forever to eat; I usually love to do a spoon full of noodles, soup, and a bit of the meat in every bite, but with the spoon here, it was quite an impossible feat. I asked for a different spoon, but it was just as small. I did end up taking most of it home to finish. My server was very nice! And was quite attentive. I would like to come again if I'm ever in the area.
