It was quite a delicious meal, the service was nice and the ambiance was peaceful. Hope everyone has a nice time like I did.

First time trying Dao's Tai Pan and enjoyed my experience. Got sat very quickly and had quick service throughout our dining experience. My partner and I both enjoyed our meals!

I've been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. I wish this restaurant was on my side of town. I live 14 miles away in the Southwest area of Tucson. Unfortunately, there are no quality Asian restaurants in our area. Today I had the shrimp and pork spring rolls with a delicious peanut sauce as an appetizer. These spring rolls are to die for. They're super fresh and has a nice crunch to it. Best in town! I also had the chicken broccoli. This entrée had a very nice tasting brown sauce with tender pieces of chicken and perfectly semi cooked broccoli with a side of white rice. So good!! This restaurant has Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes and by far my favorite Asian restaurant in town.

Tiny amount of meat for the pho, all small pieces too

I frequent the Wilmot location and always order the same food. This time, I was in the area so I tried this location instead. First, my to go order was stacked top-heavy, with the soup on the bottom. If I drove away with it like that, as soon as I made a turn the top containers would fall over and take the soup with it. P.S. I asked for a 2nd bag to pack them separately. I ordered the pho with rare beef and vegetables and paid two buck extra to make it a large. When I got home and opened the package, it had less meat than the regular size portion. That's no good especially since I paid extra. We also has shrimp lo mein, which had only 5 very small shrimp. Plenty of noodles, but the shrimp were sad. I will continue to frequent the other location of Wilmot, but cannot recommend this location based on this experience.

Came here on a weeknight for a quick meal. Food was brought out very fast. It was not the most authentic or tasty food, but was filling and fresh. Wait staff was friendly and restaurant was clean. We asked for everything "very spicy" and felt that it was a bit bland. Prices were also on the higher side for the portions. If you like Americanized Asian food in a relaxing atmosphere, this spot is for you.

It's difficult to find decent Asian food in the Tucson area. Coming from Washington State I am an avid lover of Asian food and am always trying to find those restaurants here which have that level of quality. Dao's restaurant is one such place. They offer Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese food dishes. All of their food is on point and they serve their food with a smile on their face along with great customer service. I tried their Pho combo and my boyfriend had their beef pad thai. We also shared a plate of crab puffs, and had a Thai iced bubble tea and mango bubble tea. All around a great experience and I look forward to going back and trying what else they have to offer!

We were cautious considering the reviews but are fans of Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese food so we figured we would stop in. We were pleasantly surprised. We know people have talked about inconsistencies and we have only been here once but it was more than enough to convince us to return. First the service was excellent, Edgar was welcoming and attentive and very knowledgeable about the food. The murals on the walls were lovely and the overall decor was much nicer than we expect for a casual restaurant. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We ordered four dishes, and the price was very reasonable for both the quality and portion sizes. We got two meals out of each appetizer and main dish, which was very impressive. They had a selection of boba tea and hot tea, which we both loved. The food itself was impressive, again considered this is a casual dining establishment. The Vietnamese crepe was well seasoned and light. It did need the light sauce it came with, but it was very good overall. The spring rolls were excellent. The shrimp was succulent and dish was very light with the perfect amount of mint and scallion. The peanut sauce was not necessary, but enhanced the dish. Our entrees were the Pad Thai, and Garlic and Peppers Chicken in Clay Pot. The Pad Thai was solid; it needed a little brightness perhaps from basil, or the addition of a little vinegar (or more lime) but tasty nonetheless. The Clay Pot Chicken was the real star--it was perfectly balanced with a nice heat and bite that kept you wanting to eat more. Overall a very yummy dish that we would order again. The combination of good food, good price, and good service makes this place a pick. We plan to come back and try more of the variety of dishes available and will update our review.

I personally think this place is better than miss Saigon and the prices are lower but you get a bigger portion. I've never dined in but always get my pho and pork & shrimp roll for take out. I'd recommend this place if you like Vietnamese food

We are from out of town and wanted to try Vietnamese food while in Tucson. None of the restaurants were open for dine-In except for this one. We had to take a temperature test before sitting down. Customer service was great and very attentive. Food was just OK. Bun Bo Hue broth was good but the noodles was too soft. Pho broth was decent but noodles was hard and there was very little meat. The popcorn chicken is very bland and too breaded. Portion size is small so it wasn't fulfilling. Overall decent food but not worth the money. Great service though!

My favorite Vietnamese food in Tucson in terms of the food itself…read more My favorites here: #16 Seasoned Julienned taro root with vermicelli noodles, pickled daikon and the typical vietnamese herbs etc and sweet soy sauce. It comes with fried tofu typically but they let you exchange the tofu with a couple of their delicious vietnamese crispy rice paper egg rolls that are stuffed with deliciously seasoned tofu (#14 on the menu) and that's my favorite way to order it. Mixing all of it together is heaven. This is by far my favorite here! I find that I generally really like taro- all parts of the plant! The root as served in this restaurant and in Thai desserts, the leaves in filipino laing and the stalk (elephant ear stalk) in vietnamese Canh Chua soup. #20 Fried rice noodles dish (ask for the crispy option!) . This one became quite expensive recently but when I had it in the past it was delicious. Definitely get the crispy version! #14: Those vietnamese crispy rice paper egg rolls that are stuffed with deliciously seasoned tofu are so good. They let you get them a la carte but the full plate comes with the sauce and herbs. I get them as part of #16 as described above so it has the sauce and herbs in that dish as well. I really love that they have a vegetarian and vegan menu and that they have the vegan sweet soy sauce available in place of fish sauce for that menu. The restaurant is attached to Lee Lee international supermarket which is an absolute must visit in my opinion for international food lovers and people who want to learn about world cuisines. It's a great place to find international ingredients that are not easily found elsewhere. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

There are several different condiments, extra napkins, and utensils already on the table for your convenience. Our food arrived quickly and both items had such depth of flavor! The rice noodles with scallion oil came with onions wrapped in beef and grilled, something we had never tried before but were just as good as it sounds. The pho broth also clearly had been simmering for hours. It was dark and rich in flavor while the veggies were still crisp and fresh. For living in central Tucson, this place is definitely worth the 20 minute drive!

It's not going to be the best you ever had in your life, and if you've been to Southern China, you're not going to be blown away. HOWEVER, it is the homemade taste that makes it good. It doesn't feel like any other restaurant, it feels like you are at somebody's house. Here's the thing, I came in expecting the usual Chinese food affair, but I left genuinely surprised and impressed. This restaurants specializes in Southern Chinese food, which is different from other regions. I am so happy this restaurant and its chains helps the cuisine gain exposure and adds depth to Chinese food in general. Even better, the menu is laid out in a way that it is easy to understand: gluten-free options, allergies, and spice level. The service was great. All though it isn't a "full" sit-down restaurant, everybody there seemed to know the menu well and was happy to be there. As a Cantonese person, it was nice hearing my language being spoken in the kitchen. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean and very modern. We came during early dinner time so the parking lot was near empty and easy to park. Overall, if you've never had Southern Chinese food or are looking for something more authentic than classic Chinese takeaway, definitely check out this location. The cherry on top are the big portion sizes and the price.

Wow. New favorite sandwich shop!…read more The Lemongrass Beef sub was incredible. The beef was tender and full of bright flavor, and the mix of fresh herbs, crunchy veggies, and a little jalapeño heat made every bite pop. My husband and I split the sandwich and we both loved it. I also ordered the Honeydew Milk Tea with egg custard and boba. The tea and custard were perfect and refreshing. The boba was still good, but the texture felt like it had been sitting for a bit. We visited about an hour before their 3pm closing time on Monday, and the other days of the week have later closing times, so that could be why. I enjoy Capriottis, Firehouse, and Baggins, but Banhdicted is on a whole different level. The drinks are wonderful too. Being right next to Lee Lees makes it an easy stop, and it is close to the Tesla supercharger which is great for grabbing food to go. Customer service was friendly. Service was fast. They have an app for earning rewards. Seating is cozy inside with a couple of spots outside. It was comfortable for the two of us and not busy on a Monday afternoon. I got the BBQ Pork Banh Mi and my fiancee got the Lemongrass Beef Bahn Mi. Both sandwiches were fantastic: the bread is outstanding - soft yet a perfect crusty crunch - the meats were perfectly flavored and so tender, then wrap it up with the perfect flavor combinations of the fresh veggies & cilantro. The seat area is small & quaint, more of a takeout restaurant than a place you'd hang out. But if you choose to there are a few tables and it's a calm atmosphere. The staff was kind and got the food out ASAP. Overall I highly recommend and will be returning soon!
