My building is supported for 100mbps, but I usually get around 200-300mbps download speeds, and at least 200mbps upload speed at all times. Sometimes my upload or download will peak around 500mbps. -Their support staff really knows their stuff. It's not like calling another ISP's support where you get tier1 support who asks you do to the basic troubleshooting. The support staff you get when you first call is likely the person who will truly be able to fix your issue. I work in IT, and absolutely appreciate this. THAT SAID, their hold times when calling for support are usually pretty terrible. I've been on hold before (including last night) for 1+ hours and then the call gets disconnected for whatever reason. Their email/online support is pretty lackluster. No way of updating or creating tickets online short of emailing them. In my current case, I've emailed them in response to a ticket and they seem to ignore the email altogether. I'm now trying to call them to get the issue resolved. Overall, I'd give them an A- as a grade. If they could up their support, it'd be the best ISP out there.

Unreliable, often down, especially at night. Fast when up but I'd prefer slow but reliable.read more

We initially signed a contract for internet and phone service, but continually struggled with issues on their phone apps that WOW! could not resolve. We managed to work around those problems until our office relocated in May. At that point, we discovered our new location was not serviced by WOW!. Instead of working with us fairly, they attempted to charge an exorbitant fee for not continuing with the contract--even though they did not provide service in our new area. We were told to return the company's phone equipment, which we did promptly. WOW! assured us that once the phones were received, a refund of the fee would be issued in the form of a Visa card. Although we requested a standard refund instead, they refused. Shortly thereafter, they charged our account again, this time claiming that more equipment had not been returned. At no time were we informed that additional equipment was required, and none of the items in our office were labeled with WOW! stickers to identify them. At that point, I was prepared to take the loss--but then another unexplained charge appeared on our account the following month. After five months of back-and-forth, I had no choice but to block WOW! on my business credit card to prevent further charges. This entire ordeal has been both time-consuming and frustrating. If you are considering WOW! for your business, I strongly advise against it. In my experience, the company has not acted honorably, and their practices have caused significant financial and operational headaches.

I call them and they confirmed they did receive the equipment and said I would not receive anymore emails about needing to return the equipment. I still was getting the same emails and called back a 2nd time in which they again confirmed they have the returned equipment and I asked that they forward this info on to whatever dept that doesn't know the equipment was retuned and was told I wasn't billed in which I replied that doesn't mean I won't be billed tomorrow. Well here it is in January and I was billed $220.00 for the equipment. I call for the 3rd time and they check to confirm they received the equipment and respond to my queries that there is nothing they can do or no other phone number/dept that I can call and that it will need to go thru two billing cycles for it to clear up. What a fing poor crap system they have and that I'm lied to the first two times I call and the third time I called was I waste of time. Pure harassment is what this is. I hope it ends. I will send them my bill for my time. Oh and did I mention that their internet Air sucks! What happened to AT&T?

I have screenshots and video recording of the live agent chat with Vijay (as you're not able to speak with live representatives). I have spent countless hours, over 6, cried and experienced immense frustration due to follow-up regarding this as my modem for my new plan was delivered but my bill did not reflect what was promised. When following up, a chat agent purposely disconnected the chat because they didn't care to speak to me. The next one kept repeating things that wasn't the concern at the time such as what I currently owe on my bill, how I can make a payment, etc to cause frustration and confusion to avoid reaching a solution regarding the matter. I have where it was repeated 5 times, before and after, the signed change in plan where it is promised my overcharges would be dismissed. They acknowledge this was said, stated they'd contact Vijay but that they can't uphold the agreement but would like to help me set up my new equipment for my plan. They acknowledged the distress this situation had caused me, how I was a valued customer of over 7+ years but that they could only offer me a 60 dollar remediation and asked me to agree. Due to numerous statements stating plural "overcharges" and confirmation of 60 and 80 dollars in total, I refused to agree to such an agreement. They directed me to call: 1-888-565-4329 to discuss things further as they only had so much they could within their limits. After calling and being redirected to over 4 different people at this number at 11p at night, they told me all they would be doing is the ticket#: ECM0018044776 and to call back in a few hours to see if they'd move forward with forgiving the other 80 dollar charge. They purposely told me they'd forgive the overcharges to secure the upsale of their products under false pretenses. I have reported this to the BBB. Blatantly fraudulent.

They run off of cell phone towers kind of like a hot spot but using a MoFi Router Antenna system. We had them for a year and a half and the service was great! We could stream whatever we wanted, the kids could play on their X-Box and when Covid hit I had two people working from home always on the computer. No problem... until recently they had to change our service, they took away our unlimited data and put us down to 300GB told us they were sending us a new SIM card plus they were going to charge us an additional $20/month. What the heck!?? But what other options did we have besides At&t (we heard it's horrible downloads speeds are at 5mb/s) and Satellite? NONE!. We are unable to get any type of hight speed cable/fiberoptic at our locations. So we installed the new SIM card and couldn't get a connection and tried several times! I called and left messages, they said they would call back and never did. I emailed and they sent out a big letter stating if you are still having problems with connectivity then you need to get another plan depending on what cell service you have. We have Verizon so to get that one it was going to cost us even more $. So we went from paying $89/month now up to $129/month an additional $40/month. Another SIM card was shipped out. I tried installing it. No connection, I tried calling the company multiple times, put on hold for over 40 min emailed and they told me that my card wouldn't be activated until that night which was on November 12th, 2021 so we waited and we tried again on the 13th and again on the 14th and no connectivity. So I emailed the company demanding a refund on service and equipment. They only refunded the service because of course the refund policy on the equipments only goes up to 14 days after purchase. Even thought this was their screw up changing service on us and not even calling to try and help us out. And I'm so tired of companies saying "Unlimited High Speed Internet, oh until you reach so many GB then we are going to reprioritized you and slow you WAY DOWN. That's a flat out lie, you can't say unlimited high speed if you are going to slow us down. Such crap!! I would not recommend this company to anyone at this time. I don't know if they changed ownership. Before this big switch in service I could call any time and get a hold of someone. It's unfortunate that companies don't treat their customers with respect. We are the one's making you money.
