What a joke. I was charged for extra box for over a year. NO REFUND also when my service contract was up they charged me 200.00 for a plan barely any channels. I called an asked why this amount was taken out of my account and they said you renewed and was authorized this. LOL NO i did not. Now I canceled and and went with Verizon $20.00 for Internet istead of 80.00 and guess what They Took Another 100.00 out of my account and say its Justafyable. Location is great....but the customer service is pathetic! These people don't know or should I say don't want to think outside of their box! Who hired these people? My 12 year old niece knew more than these people. They didn't know what box I needed to work with my plan and tv. Horrible customer service even with management!!!! No solutions or remedies found for problems all they say is "I'm sorry". Technicians do not show up for appointments. You have to make multiple calls for issues to be addressed and even then it takes you talking to ten individuals to get one competent person to even know what you're talking about or how to help you. Find another internet/television provider if possible. This is just an expensive headache that's not worth the trouble. read more

Only gave their customer service center a 1 as I couldn't give a zero. Switched from Dish Network as their bragged they could give me a better package and price. Repair person also told me they had a promo for Dish Network new customers. Sales person told me I didn't qualify since I had Comcast internet. Called customer service the 1st night I had service with 2 tech questions. Both were answered wrong and found the correct answers on the web help page. Called the next day about DIY not offered in HD. Sales person told me I would be getting a better package then I had with Dish and it is not. Support tells me they do not have DIY in HD. Also asked why I couldn't get the Dish promo. She said she would find out and call me back. No return call all day. Called the next night and got one of the most obnoxious sales advisors I have ever talked to. Tried to talk over top me. Would not allow me to ask questions. We live in Scottsdale, Arizona and had to get a cable box changed out for my elder Mom. We called and Nathan was our Customer Service Advisor. Because I wasn't listed on my Mom's account, at first he wasn't going to be able to help. But he suggested I call my Mom and get her approval - I put her on Speaker phone and he asked her the required security question and, after all said and done, he got the appointment set up for her. He even found a way for me to pay for the installation tomorrow. Mom is 85 and gets quickly confused over setting up services, etc. and I can't thank Nathan enough for his assistance. I tried to leave a review with his Supervisor but got disconnected. I sure hope Comcast and, Nathan's Supervisor, reads this because he went "above and beyond" to help. Thank you Nathan! read more

Came home to find A Comcast guy in my backyard, broke through my fence, broke branches off my bushes and trees, threw his poles on my flowers and broke them, smashing my bushes, breaking tree limbs.I asked him what he was doing? He said he was a public utility and could do this. Don't get the run around like I have. Imagine moving and waiting 3 weeks for internet/ cable. I keep being told about how fast Comcast is by their reps but they can't seem to schedule an install.. First attempt the scheduled me under false information. Second attempt was scheduled for today.. no one came. I called, they said it was scheduled two weeks from now...HOW!? You know what would have fixed that, the confirmation email I was promised, I did however receive an email for a survey.. I ordered service on Sunday, self install. Technician comes out on Monday and states that he cannot connect the service outside until I receive the equipment. I receive the equipment install it and call of the Technician to come out again. I talked to five people and none of them listened to me when I told them I was calling to have the wire from the pole to my house connected, I opened the box to confirm the wire was not connected and I could see it was hanging at the pole. Three of them made me go through the process of them trying to active the equipment even though it was not connected outside. Each one told me they could send a Technician out 3 days later. The fourth person listens to my story and transferred me to the 5 person who said he could get someone out the next morning and I would not have to be home since it was and outside connection. I made an additional call to verify this and the sixth person told me they were going to bury the cable??? I told him it just needed to be connected. Then he tried to upsell me phone and cable service. If I am upset with your service, what makes you think I am going to buy anything else from you. I left a note on the door with the door hanger notice from the first technician. The next day I received a message that no one was home and I saw that they did not connect the line. I called and talked to someone who transferred me to someone who said they would get someone out asp, before 5pm. No one showed up. I called to cancel and again they wanted to send someone out ASAP. #%^& &*! How can an American Corporation with many shareholders operate so poorly. Their employees need to learn to actively listen to what the customers are saying. I manage a call center and I and my supervisor would never allow our customers to be treated so poorly. Iv been with comcast (xfininty) for over 10 years, dont get me wrong they have the best on demand and cable service out there, but now let me tell you the bad, once your a customer of there's they really can care less about you, there customer service is the worse iv ever seen, now this is the problem you sign up with them for the first year they give you a good bundle deal, Internet, cable, phone, $100 a month, then all the sudden you get a bill from $100 to $140, then you call them to complain and all they tell you is do you want to cancel our services because they dont want to work out another deal with you, so for the last 10 years what i would do is after 1 year cancel my service for about 3 days then call back and get service again for $100 a month, for another year and do this year after year, but about 2 months ago my Internet was acting up, which by the way has always gave me problems, so they send a tech over and they found out from weather conditions the lines needed to replaced from the poll to the house, so my next bill there was an xtra $120 charge for this, now the tech told me because the damage was outside my house not inside there will be no charge, so when i called customer service to explain they wouldn't do anything for me, they said because it was already billed its to late to do anything about it, so i paid it, then my bill went from $100 to $180 i called them and they told me since im not a new customer there is nothing they can do for me, so i told them im a 10 year customer to give me a good deal, usually this works but with Comcast they didnt care, so i told them ok i want to cancel and there like ok thats fine we will deliver boxes for you to box our cable and Internet boxs, so thats what they did i canceled my service and im with a different company now, i recommend you sign up with a different company, they know there the best out there so they play you, the crazy thing is no matter what you do that bill will always get higher and higher they will never stick to one price, they didnt want to work with me when i was a customer but now i keep getting letters in the mail for me to come back to Comcast and they will give me a deal, funny thing when i talk to customer service and i told them that i want to cancel they didnt even try to keep me as a customer, stay away there to high, read more

Horrible service from these people. Just got my first bill and I have a $90.00 charge for them having to run wires to 3 separate rooms. I call and they say "nothing we can do about that we don't own the wires now you do" I explained that this charge was not disclosed to me and I'm advised that they don't put anyone in collections for 3 month so I can spread out the payments to make it easier for me. Another thing, I wasn't even going to bring this up until I heard their responses but the installer that came out didn't even install the box in my daughter's room. He just laid the box next to the TV with the remote and left. Didn't even program the remote. I wasn't home so I didn't know about it until 2 days later that my daughter asked me to hook her box up. Real classy people. I called about this last Thursday and I was told that a "ticket" was put in to a supervisor to call me back so we can discuss the $90.00 charge, I called today cause I had not heard anything and I'm told that they don't do that and they don't do "tickets", so the rep I spoke to on Thursday lied to me?
