They have just turned off my cable TV when I just spent 2 hours on the phone with them on Friday trying to get them to turn it back on again. Now it's Sunday, and they disconnected me AGAIN! I have been a steady customer for over 25 years and am paid in full up to date. But they keep playing their stupid games and keep disconnecting me. At this point, I have hired an attorney and I'm going to have to take them to court and sue them. They are absolutely the worst and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They are stealing money from me and have been lying to me constantly. They don't even let you contact them on the phone and when and if I do get through, they hang up on my. The customer service- or lack there of it truly frightening. First of all- calling the 800# so if this is not part of the team they can advise. Noticed at 4a- no television on any sets. Called and was on hold for about an hour and 10 minutes. Talked with a representative that asked me the same questions (error codes, message, etc). She was unable to assist in any way. Told me she would escalate and I should get a call back in 2 hours- which would be closer to 8- but then said center opened at 9. Called again at 9:40- no call back. Talked to someone who was going to transfer me to Angel- again, useless and gave me an appointment that I found out did not exist. Called again- of course no live person- automated prompts to redo what I have been spending 5 hours doing. The agent informed me that I had no appointment today and now time slot for tomorrow was already filled bc someone erased it on their end. Wow!!!! I had an extremely frustrating experience with Xfinity Mobile that I feel obligated to warn others about. As part of my Xfinity internet plan, I was given a mobile line free for a year. After about a month or two, I found a better internet deal elsewhere and canceled both my Xfinity internet and the "free" mobile line in August 2025. Xfinity Internet accepted the cancellation immediately, but Xfinity Mobile did not. Even though the line was supposed to be free and canceled, they silently began charging my credit card. I only discovered this after the charges piled up. What followed was a nightmare. I made dozens of calls, and every representative gave me conflicting information, empty promises, and no real help. No matter what I did, the charges kept coming. I eventually had to take the drastic step of closing the credit card just to stop them. Yesterday (November 26, 2025), I finally reached someone who actually seemed competent and took the issue seriously. She claims the problem is now resolved, but honestly, after everything I've been through, I'm just crossing my fingers that it's truly over. My warning to everyone is to be extremely cautious about giving your credit card information to Xfinity Mobile agents, no matter how good the deal sounds. As of March 31st Xfinity no longer carries NBC and several other stations. They failed to negotiate a contract with EW Scripps. They say that it would raise our bills too much if they had. Seriously? Try googling how much "PROFIT" Xfinity made last year - it's in the billions!!!! Yes, that's right BILLIONS! They make tons of money from HOA developments that give customers "basic" nothingness and then customers have to pay additional money from $100 to $200 a month to get a DVR box, additional channels, etc and now we don't get NBC? Seriously. So many of the programs I love to watch are on NBC. I will be calling ATT today to get pricing from them and see how quickly I can switch. Don't be fooled by Xfinity saying it would be too costly to get NBC in the West Palm Beach coverage area. They make so much money they could absorb it without increasing rates. The Xfinity wifi service is fine..no problem with the product. But the pricing is unbelievable! They give you a promotion for a year and then raise you every year after that. My bill went up over 100% in just two,years. If you go to the Xfinity store to talk about lowering your bill, they actually send you home. They tell you they can't adjust bills in the store. You have to call the Retention Office. Ok...good luck getting past the robot lady to get a human being. They have it set up so that you just get so aggravated you pay the increase of $26 a month. To add insult to injury, my neighbors in my condo complex all pay varying amounts for their wifi. We're not talking cable tv...that is covered by the condo association. Just plain old wifi. Anywhere from $30 a month to $98. No differences in wifi speed or service. Anyway, the good news is my Association is getting cable and Internet from another provider starting in August. Hopefully, the cost to me will be lower and the product just as good. read more

Xfinity sucks, the should be called Ffinity. where do i start, well my system is down from speeds of 800-900 to a mere 30-90mbps. i called them and after fighting their autoanswer system i got to a person, that after 45min decided to schedule a tech to come out to the house. well they never showed up and to top it off, they cancel and reschedule the appointment to a day and time of their choosing. well is like and insult to the costumer, then of course i called and they told that they can not contact their dispatch because i don't have and appointment for the day. you follow this they actually did this on purpose, so they didn't have to explain why they didn't show. very crapy and let me tell u, i will walk as soon as i can get same speed somewhere else read more

Comcast/Xfinity really needs to get it together. With the amount of money that is being charged for services I expect much better than what I am getting. Called to see if there was a way to reduce my bill, pretty much told to shove off so I went ahead and decreased my services to the absolute lowest options for both TV and internet and STILL paying $175/month. The prices are ridiculous and then heaven forbid you need to get on the phone with customer service. Instead of trying to fix my problem they 1. make me run through the automated service 7 times before I finally reached a human and even that required me to do a whole system reboot and wait 10 minutes. 2. I am on the phone for nearly 2 hours while my internet is down (I work from home and it's the middle of the work week). I tell the person we need a tech out, they proceed to give the wrong information about what was wrong with my service, told me they were overnighting a router (it's been 2.5 weeks and still haven't received it btw) and told me they would increase my internet speed to "fix the problem" until I got the new router with no charge. Well, of course, I get my bill and what is on there?!? Charges for the increased internet speed for the past 3 weeks since I never got the router that I was supposed to get. Call back to customer service to get a resolution on the bill - have to go back through the automated messaging 3 times before I talk to someone in billing. From there he puts me on hold and somehow I am routed to the automated system for technical support where it says I need to restart my whole system - there is nothing wrong with the system at this time, I am simply calling about my bill being messed up. Finally reach a human in tech support again that doesnt even hear what I am trying to say regarding how my bill got to where it is. Instead she sends me to the retention group who again, doesnt hear what I am saying. I didnt ask for the increased internet, it was done to solve a problem and I repeatedly asked that I was not going to be charged and was told no repeatedly. Again, instead of trying to fix the problem they try upselling me on the charges, which are already ridiculously high. I finally get firm about the situation and she comes back saying they are going to do me a favor a prorate the amount for the remainder of the month. She tried sliding this into the conversation, hoping I would miss the prorated statement. Absolutely not. From there she talks to someone and comes back and says they can give me a credit for $50 of the $77 I am being charged, again absolutely not. I then request to speak to a manager after being on the phone for 1 hour 4 min. She essentially threatened that I would be on the phone for another indetermined amount of time if I proceeded to request a manager and didnt "allow her to try to help". Mind you I have been "allowing her to try to help" for the past hour of my day and we are getting nowhere. She does not understand the situation although she keeps repeatedly saying she does. If you really understood the situation you would not ask me to accept a prorated amount for something you messed up on. I didnt want anything other than Xfinity to uphold their end of the agreement we had. After NOT being routed to a manager, suddenly she was able to apply the $77 credit to my account to end the call. I am a VERY reasonable person - all I wanted was my internet to be reliable and the company to uphold their end of an agreement without conning me out of more money. This turned into something way bigger than it needed to be and in total took 3.5 hours to resolve. It is INSANE the way you are treated with Comcast/Xifinity. They overcharge, dont listen, have zero interest in trying to actually help you and insist on pushing additional charges on you. If you are not paying attention they will slide information into the conversation so they can legally con you out of money. I have been a customer for 3 years with my current account and probably 10 years in total through the years but I am done with them at this point. read more

Comcast has been a nightmare. Moved to Florida and spent 25 hours on the phone and 7 trips to local service centers. Was given wrong information by people in service centers and the phone assistance is nothing short of atrocious. Outsourced to China or India. On the phone for 45 minutes to get a live person, who then speaks broken English, gives you false information and takes an hour to give you that. I fought a fraud case from 2016 that was an absolute nightmare for service that they allowed service to be installed in New Jersey to some dirt bag that stole my identity. Ok here is the real deal about Xfinity, both Internet and mobile. IYou sign an agreement for two years, but the only one bound by that agreement is you, not XFINITY. I was told how much everything would cost and was told I would receive a $200.00 gift card because I had bundled TV, Internet and mobile. After the first two months my TV bill went up by $25.00. After speaking with a live associate the issue was resolved. This has happened 3 times the first year. After the first year Xfinity notified me that my bill would be increasing $70 + a month. They wanted $220.00 a month for the total bundle package. After going into the Xfinity store and attempting to cancel I was informed that they would reduce my price. But I had already switched service and8 bought a new phone. Fast forward 1 month. I am still being billed to my auto pay account after not using the Mobil service. I tried to cancel auto pay but the online website won't allow me to do so. Xfinity is a great service if you want to pay their prices, which increase even before the agreement expires. Xfinity please... I'm not asking for the gift card that I was promised and never received, but at least refund me the $61.00 and change you billed me a month after I left your service. My wifi is constantly going offline and the only way to fix it is to unplug and restart the modem. Well i travel alot, i cant transport back home for me to do all that. Now i cant use my cameras and watch and protect my home. They should be able to press a button from their computer to reset it. After signing up for service at the Xfininty store, I could not log into my account. Called the Comcast Xfinity customer service number only to be bounced from one department to another, each time put on hold for no less than twenty minutes, for no less than six separate transferred calls. Went back to the local Xfinity store where they could not print out any information about my account because their printers don't work with their computers, nor would they send any information to my email address. Worst service provider ever! I've had six technicians out to my house since November 2019, for new routers put in, a new line buried, the bucket truck out to my house twice. I still get spotty service, I pay for a gigabyte of speed, but I'm getting kilobytes up to 90 MBps, and they were totally unwilling to refund me for the lost time. They were argumentative and unhelpful. I had a supervising technician come out to my house and bridge my Netgear nighthawk, which I then spent 13 hours repairing because it was not compatible. They should not have supervising technicians that are unqualified going out to the field and servicing people. I would never recommend this company. They are absolutely the worst. I could go on and on and on. There are so many problems I've had with them but I don't want to make this review too long, because I've already spent enough time of my life wasted with this company. Avoid them... Update: so I've decided to start a petition for Verizon FiOS fiber optic to be able to be installed, at least in this county, the state is blocking their ability to do so. politicians are taking kickbacks from Comcast. I'm going to be going around collecting signatures and working with Verizon to create some actual competition around here. AT&T basically uses the same lines (cable not fiber optic) as Comcast/Xfinity. To me this sounds like a monopoly. I am a long-time customer of comcast.as of last night I was on the phone for over 2 hours with their tv cable tec people about the problems for the last 3 day as too all of a sudden, the sound would switch over to Spanish and would not reset after going through all of the settings. I First called on Sunday and the tec person said that I needed to do this and that and that would fix it I told her that I had already done this at least 4 times and it would not reset she said that she would do it on the phone that did not work either she said that she would have someone else call me.Still waiting on that call. I believe it is time for a CLASS ACTION SUIT against Comcast. Yes, I know that their contract says that we cannot do that. I am trying to find the legal team that sued ATT Wireless a few years ago and won a multi-million-dollar settlement. The FCC will not do anything thing, so my next step is going to research out to the Comsumer Protection Laws. And hopefully find out the legal team that will take this on. Do not waste your time on contacting Mr. Tom Karinshak with Comcast as all you will get from him is form email from one of his assistants. Some of the worst customer service ever. Sucks that they have a monopoly here. Their high speed Internet serveice has not been working ever since it was installed (drops every 2-3 minutes), they are just taking advantage of my parents that are old and don't know better. Called to set up an appointment, they scheduled it and they never showed up. Try 1: Called back, waited for 10 minutes to speak with someone that said they would annotate our conversation and have dispatch office call us within 45 minutes and have a technician show up the same day guarantee. NEVER HAPPENED! Try 2. They want to set up for next week, that was their earliest available appointment. Fairly certain the idiots will not show again. Comcast installer showed up 7 hours late with a bad attitude. Left a huge tangled wire mess, nothing worked, returned it all the next morning. They said I own nothing. Then tried to say I didn't return equipment, then I proved that I did and they found it but did not apologize. They then billed me. I took bill to office and they said ignore it, computer kicks them out. Then they turned me over to a collection agency!!! Took 6 months to get it resolved. NEVER AGAIN! Not only is their service terrible Boasting high speed Internet service with rates which constantly climb higher and higher but rest assure you will be in good hands with customer service representatives who if you can understand them ( they outsource to reduce staffing and payroll) do absolutely nothing to help resolve your problem. However there is good news you can save $10 off your bill if you enroll in paperless billing and direct pay. Just be prepared for a shocker when they bill you incorrectly and they take more from you than they should have because they won't send it back they will give you a credit on your next bill. The worst internet service by far. DO NOT use even if they are the only one available in your area. Personal experience, we had problems almost every month with the wifi not working or even being directly connected to the router. Which they have no problem still charging you a rediculous amount because they were the only service available. Also double charged me one month so I would be a month ahead, fine okay. Nothing worse than this company of liars. They claimed they sent a cable box to my condo and they never did. They insisted I had to pay for something I never received. They refused to cancel my cable account until they got this supposed cable box back. When I asked for the tracking number of the package--- Comcast/X-finity lied and gave me a fake UPS number. (I called up UPS--- they confirmed that the tracking number given was fake). (I also spoke to a few police officers due to this incident and they confirmed that Comcast is basically the worst company to exist.) We had a problem with the DVR. They sent a bunch of techs out. Finally a supervisor and a line tech. The figured out my backyard neighbor was stealing cable. They took it off, and the DVR doesn't skip any more. The mobile app used to let you record a show from your phone. They took that away. Said it was some kind of patent problem. They also took away BEIN sports channel, and of course there is no reduction in the bill. We down graded out cable service. They insisted phone service (that we don't want or need) go with it. They added another 2 years to our contract for doing that. Ugh. At&t is just as bad. We fired them years ago. Satellite is useless in the heavy rain we get. So we're stuck. read more

With our new Samsung TV, I was astonished not to be able to record programs remotely. I tried call Comcast Xfinity from Hutchinson Island. It took 4 calls to 4 different locations to find anyone who could speak to me about how to do this. I was cut off twice, misunderstood, and then, held on, gave up, tried again, and then, waited for 45 minutes or more. Finally, I was told that I had to go to a Comcast store and buy an updated, special cable box. Another grumpy, annoyed REP told me that there was a local shop. Drove 12 miles to the shop which was empty. Called Comcast again and it took 15 minutes for the REP to look for a nearby shop, which, he assured me, was open. Drove for 30 minutes to that store which was closed for the until January 1! (It was December 26th) Now, having unplugged all the wires from the old box, I must replug all those pesky little colored wires, maybe 10, to get any TV service back and start all over in January. I thought our service in Connecticut was bad, but this takes the cake. I still don't know know the cost, or if the recording service, which would seem to be part of the package, can be cancelled when we leave Florida. read more

What we have in Port St Lucie with Comcast / Xfinity is Third World internet at Beverly Hills prices. I have actually lived in the Third World in several different places and the internet there was more reliable and half the price than here in PSL. Outages occur weekly for more than two years. Most times it will be out for 6-7 hours. On days when it doesn't go out it flickers and one has to reset modem or the service is intermittent. For this toilet service internet we are charged exorbitant prices. So we get it-- Comcast is not able to provide reliable internet to Port St Lucie--it is unreliable-- intermittent at best and too unreliable for anyone who does business, trades the markets or needs to depend on their internet being there. SO CHARGE HALF PRICE THEN IF YOU CAN'T DELIVER THE GOODS! DOES THIS COMPANY MAKE A PROFIT? There should not be one penny of profit going to share holders or executives as long as you are playing this bait and switch game with consumers. And in exchange for this dismal toilet service offered by Xfinity, you get EXTREMELY high prices and nickle and dime upcharges for every little thing and forcing people to rent boxes by the month and all that rip-off mafia bullsh*t. As far as internet service is concerned, Port St. Lucie, FL is worse than Ethiopia or Mexico. Do not move here if you expect to have reliable internet service. read more

I've always disliked Comcast but had no choice to go with them when I moved to PSL, the complex I live in has Comcast . The service is awful, wifi goes out all the time and it's very expensive for what you get. Completely dissatisfied!!!! Then recently they have all kinds of commercials in Spanish ...ugh. This is America and I'm watching English speaking channels!!!!! This is outrageous . I'm tired of paying to listen to commercials in a language I don't speak. If i wanted my tv in Spanish I would tune into those stations ...but I don't!!!! We have HAD IT with Comcast service. I NEVER had a problem with Comcast when I lived in NJ and since I have moved to FL all it has been is problems!!! We have had technicians out here four times. and during this process for hours on end we have no cable. I have been on the phone with COMCAST almost every day. When it was working again, the rep told me he didn't know what a technician would do if it was working so I cancelled our appointment because it was working for a day or two again. I have been on hold for endless amounts of time, have asked for a supervisor and when they put us on hold for a supervisor, it disconnected us!!! The service is HORRIBLE!! As soon as there is another cable company available to us we are switching!!! Half the time we are talking to the Philippians and we can hardly understand what they are saying or they don't understand us. What is wrong with comcast????
