I feel like they are running scams here. I went in to upgrade my I-phone. Unfortunately, Cole assisted me and neglected to be upfront about the $40 activation fee. I had to grill him to get the necessary information. The icing on the cake, he handed me his tablet so I could sign a contract and probably hoped I wouldn't review the details. When I scrolled up, I saw the monthly payment was $15 more than quoted. I called him out on it and he had zero explanation as to why, so clearly he LIED. By the way, I was on with Verizon customer cellular service the other day and unfortunately, the same thing happened. Nobody is on the same page despite it being for a different concern. BEWARE !! Before heading to your local Verizon Dealer please be aware that this store in Tradition may look like Verizon still it is not an official Verizon Store instead it is an "Authorized Retailer". So if your wondering what that means it does not have to abide by Verizon on many promises or services, they do not have to honor agreements you made with Verizon and the Customer Service is not the same! Also the representatives make a commission so they are not willing to work with you on anything... Last November of 2020 I attempted to buy a new iPhone 12 from this Verizon Authorized Retailer. They told me that they would put me on a waiting list and contact me when they were available. At the time I did not know this store in Tradition was not an official Verizon store so when I arrived home I called Verizon to verify the waiting list and they had no knowledge of the list and simply ordered me the phone on the spot.. A few days later I received the phone by mail and had a few minor problems trying to set it up so I went back to the store in Tradition but when I explained to them my issue with set up they simply told me I'm not a customer and I have not purchased anything from the store.. The representative was rude and not helpful so I decided to go back home and call Verizon who walked me through and helped me set up the phone.. On November 22nd of this year I figured I would give this store another chance because it's very close to my house so against my better judgment I ordered a iPad from a Representative named Aaron who seemed polite and helpful at the time and he promised to be available when the iPad arrives in the store. He printed everything and even gave me his business card and told me to contact him with any question and he would be in touch when the item arrived. I never heard back but I received an email this week that the iPad was shipped to the store and it finally arrived yesterday. I tried several times to reach Aaron and finally I got him on his cell and he told me he was busy and he would call me back. I never heard back as he promised and today I called him again and he was not as nice and told me he was off today and to go directly to the store. So that is what I did.. Today I entered the Authorized Retailer and dealt with Fuad. He would not honor the agreement with Aaron and refused to waive any fees and explained that he makes commission and he would not honor Verizon or waive anything. I tried to explain to him that I was a good customer and I had been with Verizon since 12/9/2000 which is 21 years and he was not interested in any type of relationship I had with Verizon or the previous representative. He was rude, sarcastic, unprofessional and although the item I ordered was right in front of me I decided to leave without purchasing the device. When I left I tried to get in touch with Aaron but his mailbox was full on his cell and he is no longer returning my calls...Horrible Customer service and going forward after two separate negative experiences I would never enter this store again !! Not at all well. I don't feel like enough was don't at the store level retain me as a customer. At no point was it escalated to a manager/ no manager on site. Really? I twelve hours were invested into trying to resolve this and at the end of night my daughter goes home with a non working phone and all of her data lost for good. Your solution is to just wave the activation fee! To me that's an insult. Time is the one thing you can never get back along with all of her information. What you can do to get better make sure staff members working the floor are confident in their ability to do these functions. I was able to identify with in the first 5 min that the young man was polite but, not confident or empowered to perform what was asked of him. You have some good folks there but due to how this was handled I prefer to go the extra exit to St lucie west cooperate store for future business. read more

Waited a half hour to upgrade my phone. Sales person decided to let somebody else with a return to jump in front of my place in line. I told the sales person I was before her but he did not care. Update: Reading Vincent's review and going to an actual Verizon store on St Lucie Blvd, I am glad I dodged a bullet with this "Franchise" dealer and instead went to the real Verizon store. My contract was up with AT&T and decided to shop around. The Verizon store is close to my home so I stopped in. Hanh was the associate I dealt with and she was knowledgeable with the plans and the phones. She introduced me to their 55+ plan and I was sold. Very good discount and the iPhone was buy one get one half price. I checked on the Internet and this was the best deal anywhere. I highly recommend Veizen and if you stop in as for. Beware Walking into this store you believe it's a Verizon Corp store. Nothing said otherwise at least not on the building. The service was good and that's where it stops that's why it gets 1 star. We were never told they are only authorized Verizon dealer and there will be extra charges for all their services. I purchased a new iPhone XR and gave my older iPhone to my husband. So data had to be switched from phone to phone etc. This is something I can do and have done. The salesperson said oh don't worry I can take care of all that. Ok fine I said we are here why not. We finish up he says I should get the protection plan I have had a IPhone's for 10 years and never had any issues I'm OCD about my phone and careful with it. So I say no thank you. We signed on our sales agreement on a tablet so nothing showed it was Cellular sales. My paperwork was printed folded and given to me. I go home file it happy with my purchase. Then I get my first bill what's on it the protection plan and then I noticed the $30 upgrade fee thinking I paid for that the day of purchase. I called Verizon come to find out A) it wasn't a Corp store B) I didn't pay the upgrade fee but a $35 set up charge C) That was never ever discussed or revealed to us. Now it gets even better we call the store saying all this asking for a manager sorry none are on the premises. So we wait for a call back 15 min later we get a call from a guy saying who he was and that he would edit us back the $35 since it was not told to us. We wait the 10 days nothing we call Corp for cellular sales we get a woman saying so sorry for that I'll put it through apparently the guy that called us nominee knows who he is. Ok 12 days go by no credit we call Corp again. Now we get another supervisors who says that woman is no longer with them we explain the story the guy on the phone hangs up on us. Now Very Furious with Cellular Sales we call Verizon they too was furious and was going to put through a complaint for this store and we must do the same. Verizon the excellent company I think refunded the $30 upgrade fee for all this hassle. We have been with Verizon for 18 years with no major issues. Cellular Sales on the other hand are not as reputable! Moral to this very long story only go to Verizon Corp Store I did as suggested and called the corporate number they were as useless as the store. I'll stand by my review and add that Corp pretty much called us liars they said it's our word and the employee and they don't believe us. So there is nothing they would do. I would not go through all the hassles of all the phone calls and post reviews if I made up the whole thing.
