Need an option for zero stars. All I wanted to do was return their modem. Waited 45 mins while they proceeded to assist ppl that signed in after me. Walked over to tell one of the employees that happened to be talking with a couple the entire time I waited and said I had to go, here is your modem and he smiles and says would you like me to set up an appointment? I am an Xfinity user. My costly package includes a subscription to MAX. For some reason, our Max subscription stopped working about 1.5 weeks ago. We have been online with a rep via chat but have been unable to restore our MAX. When we attempt to speak to a live person, we are unable to get through. We were told to call billing, and then we could speak to a live rep. NOTHING. We have an appointment with a Tech to come to our house, but that is going to cost us money. One could surmise that Xfinity doesn't want you to speak to a live person. They want you to become frustrated with Menu hell and pay for what should be free!! Almost 3+ hours on the phone and a visit to your Exton, Pa. store and still nothing re what we are paying for and not receiving!! One star and if I could rate it a minus star I would. XFINITY PHONE AND COMCAST CABLE ARE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE LIARS AND THEIVES sept 2022 we switched to Xfinity cell phone. they led me to believe i could use wifi (their router) for calls & text. they gave me a "free" phone. every month my data was used up before the end of the cycle, their phone was not using wifi calling or wifi texting. i called them several time. they tried to sell me more data. i want to use wifi since i am home all day. every month same problem. July 7 2023 I switched to a cheaper & better CELL phone carrier AND requested xfinity to unlock my "free" xfinity phone. they would not unlock my phone. 7/12 i paid off their inferior "free" (not free) phone, xfinity replied when i contacted them: 24 hours it would be unlocked. 7/13 xfinity replied when I contacted them: 48-72 hours xfinity would unlock my phone. 7/14 xfinity replied when i contacted them: 5-7 days to unlock my phone. bunch of liars & theives. how do they get away with this? read more

Employees and manager here are extremely rude . I have had this service in past and I know I can pick up my equipment to avoid install fee. Rep on phone said so. They ( Pottstown) are not allowing me to do so after corporate said yes. The point of picking up is to avoid fee! The female manager was extreamly rude for no reason the teller kept trying to tell me im stuck paying a install fee. First, Comcast is OK for cable service. It does not go down often and the picture is good. The service department has always been helpful to me. But today, I needed to change the credit card number that they auto -bill me. I don't think I was speaking to someone in the United States, maybe India. My credit card was compromised, I had updated four other accounts with no problem. The other companies said it would take a few days for the update to kick in. But not Comcast, this poor girl had the job of telling me that it would take 45 Business Days for my account to update. And we all know that 45 business days means almost 9 weeks. She told me over and over again how I could pay my bill in the mean time. This was not her fault but Comcast will never win my vote for being customer oriented. read more

I've had it with Comcast raising prices. Our monthly bill is a car payment and I'm tired of having to call in to find out why prices have increased so dramatically. We have internet, tv and phone. Who even uses landline in 2016? Comcast doesn't seem to care about losing existing customers, so this guy is going to be leaving and not looking back. I need to find an internet provider and I'll probably go Amazon Prime and Netflix with Roku or some other service for my TV needs. read more

We fired them for routine Internet failure. I'm geek enough to have proven despite paying for 50 mbps we received mosly 2-3 or we were just down. They came out twice to 'fix' it and both times it worked for about a day. In the end they had me unplugging both power and the cable from the cable modem routinely to restore service. So, bought out the security contract and Verizon delivers flawless 100 Mbps today. Just one question though, which Comcast will not answer: if the security system needs an Internet connection, and the Comcast service isn't working, why am I paying for monitoring again? read more

Ridiculously poor service. A couple of our X1 boxes fail continuously and the last time I had someone here to repair it, they said that Comcast is now starting to charge their clients $30 for service calls. I spent 40 minutes on the phone trying to get someone at a xfinity store to answer questions about the pods but could not get a human being. When I did get a person they wanted the last 4 of my social security to give me any information. When I drove to the store I had the pods in my hand but was told I would need to make an appointment with a sales representative to purchase the pods. I'm a local manager with Windstream Communications and when my techs go to re-install our service from Comcast, they discover our wires have been cut and need to place new wiring. In some cases, the ground wire has been cut and removed creating a liability. This practice needs to cease immediately. I failed to mention this is happening in the greater Boyertown, Pa.19512 area. "As you know, whenever we go to a Winback service order, we always have to piece things back together and make repairs to the inside wires, NID, BSW, etc., due to Comcast cutting off our connection. On Tuesday I had a G-bond at 26 S Chestnut Street in Boyertown. The customer had Comcast installed for TV. The Comcast tech/contractor cut our ground wire off at the base of the NID and moved it over to their coax splitter. Cutting off a connection going into the house is one thing, but cutting off a ground wire creates a liability for us. This needs to be addressed. It would be in their best interest to take a good hard look at this." read more

Comcast is the absolute worst. You pay so much for your service and half the time it doesn't work. Channels freeze all the time. Half the time the dvr feature didn't work. I paid for a landline for several months and it didn't work.i called to have that fixed and spent hours on the phone with several employees and they couldn't understand why it wasn't working. Half the time I hung up because they wouldnt respond on their end and I thought the call was lost. They tried fixing issues that weren't the issue. I can't make phone calls out I can only receive them. They said let me try to call you and so they did.... and then they said your problem is fixed. I said that's not the problem I can receive calls.... I can't dial out. Then they wanted to send someone out right away. I canceled my service and scheduled to take my equipment back to the store and they sent someone out while I wasn't home to collect it. Then I called and they had no idea why someone was sent out. I will never get Comcast again and I won't refer them to anyone. If I could give them 0 stars I would. read more
