I had the privilege of working with the manager Ms Ramiya. She had to juggle quite a few things including working with me to get my new phone started. Through it all she handled herself gracefully. She even encountered a very rude customer at the same time making me feel like she was still here with me. Having been a Manager myself I can tell you firsthand it's not easy. You need patience and if you want to be a good Manager you have to display kindness to your customers and staff. I have never dealt with a bigger group of liars in my life. Trying to get anyone to answer a phone call is a maze of nonsense. They have chats that work you around in circles for hours, promising you things and then not following through. We had this cable service for years, starting in State College for two years in 2018 and 2019, no problems then, but here in this area, nothing but lies, double talk, constantly avoiding following through. I would rather have no service, than to deal with this company ever again. read more

They will encourage you to set an appointment and then call you multiple times to try and have you do it over the phone with them because they fully know they are going to cancel or no show your appointment. For 3 straight months our xfinity bill has not been billed correctly- store representative keeps saying there is a major backlog and hopefully will be straightened out soon- but month after month getting the same song and dance I have no confidence this will be ever straightened out! it's sad that a company as big as Xfinity can offer all these promotions but can't actually give you the promotion!! Pretty good if you go during the week. During the week you are warmly greeted by whomever is close to the front door and you're assisted quickly and with ease. Saturdays are tough so I try to avoid if possible. Today Tuesday, I was able to pay my bill in about 90 seconds and pick up a remote to replace my Non-functioning one in about another two minutes. I went in to return some equipment and find out about switching from Verizon to Xfinity mobile. The saleswoman was extremely rude and standoffish to me. She told me since I was not a customer, she could not help me. I was there to become a customer, but insisted my wife, the former comcast account primary contact had to be present. We upgraded our comcast package the other day and transferred the account into my name to be able to make changes. I was appalled that I was there, trying to change my service and trade in my phone to become a new xfinity mobile customer. She said there was nothing she could do and i could sign up online. After this rude service I'm going to stay with Verizon or switch to Google FI. read more

The Havertown Pa store is impeccable and TAI, who assisted on top of her game. I had to go to the store because the day before while getting a new phone number, I was cut off. This left me totally stranded: no phone connection, no texting capability, no email (OTP was unavailable since it is delivered by text). Everyone knows that Xfinity customer service is useless but this was beyond the pale. Agent should take an oath to do no harm like doctors do. Before I got the agent on the phone, I was caught up for one hour and forty minutes with the automated menu, Xfinity asst, chat and two agents who put me on hold for over ten minutes both times. Xfinity TORTURES their customers. Avoid the customer service 800 # and go directly to the store. Ask for TAI ! read more

I was fully prepared to give zero stars assuming they would be as helpful here as the two people I spoke to on the phone but SHONDA was amazing. Here's the full story: I just moved here from DC and last week I signed up for xfiinity online and selected my installation appt for this past weekend. I got confirmation emails and my card was charged the initial $50 fee. Fast forward to this past weekend and it's 30min before the appt window ends so I decide to call. The woman on the phone says she has no record of my account. I have to start over and give her all my information. She proceeds to tell me installation will not be free (it was online) and they can't come until 6 days later. I take the first available appt and request that she makes installation free seeing as they messed up. 20min on hold and she says installation will be free. This morning I try using the free xfinity wifi in my building and it only allows me to use it for 1hr. This was not going to work for a week. For fear of having to talk on the phone for another hour I decided to go speak face to face with a real person. Shonda helped me figure out my best option which was to take the equipment home, try setting up myself and if I could not, keeping my appt for installation. She informed me whoever I spoke to did not make my installation free like promised. She carefully explained how to setup myself and also how to create my new (2nd) username which should alllow free xfinity wifi in my building in the meantime. She even helped me carry the items to my car. TLDR: Comcast on the phone sucks majorly and I will never deal with them again. Shonda is amazing, needs a raise, and is the only reason I am still a comcast customer right now (and also now have working wifi/cable). read more

Nov 13, 2021 - I went to the Havertown Xfinity store this morning b/c my emails were not updating daily on my Apple Iphone6S. After registering I was asked to see one of the consultants, William Jackson. He was so nice and patient as he tried to correct the problem. He made me feel comfortable as I am not iphone savy with how to do this or how to do that. He made my iphone life easier by placing OX Mail app on my phone so that I can go straight to my emails in lieu of Mailboxes on Iphone. He was very professional and kind. read more

I've never met an entire store of brain damaged people. On Saturday, I wanted to change address and sign up for a mobile plan. I was told that I needed to come back on Sunday. On Sunday I was told that there were no phones in stock, that it needed to be ordered and shipped. Then I was told that to be eligible for any discounts, that this needed to be completed on-line. "THEN WHY WAS I TOLD TO COME BACK." Today, on line, I was told that I was not eligible for a phone until AFTER they moved my service. The last experience I had at a Comcast service center was when it was located in Upper Darby which was pretty much horrible. The center in havertown is awesome.. So I spent a good amount of time here over the past two days and had a good amount of frustration trying to get my mobile accounts setup but ultimately it all worked out. First I set up my one phone yesterday and then today realized the iPhone promo they had going on. Oddly, the girl who setup my account w my SE yesterday didn't say ANYTHING about upgrading my phone or why I should. But I had to come back in today and add the other line so I asked to upgrade then (and I called xfinity and they said I'd still get the full offer) BUT It was less than 24 hours later and they were denying me the $250 prepaid visa offer! Which was absurd and infuriating since it wasn't even a full day later and the girl didn't tell me AND the wording online is different. And we were bringing over two lines AND buying two XRs. That's a good chunk of money over two years. Anyway I raised a fuss and the assistant manager came out after like ten minutes of talking with the associate and explained they had to escalate it through Corp. this process took her like literally an hour and I saw her make lots of calls and really try hard for us. So this review is really for the Assistant Store Manager, Jacinta, I was truly impressed with her customer service. I could really see the amount of effort she put in to get everything worked out and the entire time she was very pleasant and calm, and I was quite obviously frustrated so she is REALLY good at her job. I don't remember the other employees names but they were all nice as well. Anyway, a frustrating process but Jacinta gets five stars for her amazing customer service. read more

This location is relatively new in Havertown, Pa. It is located in the Quarry Shopping Center, surrounded by Giant Supermarket, Lowes and Vitamin Shoppe and Franklin Mint Credit Union. I believe this spot services a lot of customers that used to go to the location on Parkside Avenue. This also services customers who used to patronize the Comcast location in Drexel Hill, near the Acme Supermarket. I usually have a good experience here. Most of the employees are polite, always with a good morning or hello and may I help you? They occasionally will hold the door for you when you come in and when you leave. Sometimes they even offer you a bottle of water. I asked about a restroom and I was quite surprised when they said I could use it. I thought the bathrooms were only for employees. I come here to pay my mother's bill. I always use the kiosk. They have two of them. They are user-friendly. If you need assistance, a Comcast employee would be happy to assist. They usually have people on the front desk as soon as you walk in and towards the back near the kiosk. It is spacious and features all the latest equipment from Comcast/Xfinity. I wanted to spotlight Michael Williams - Xfinity Sales Professional. Our family had an issue with an adaptor box not owned by Comcast but by Zenith. I explained the issue to Mr. Williams and he assisted me once on Monday, August the 5th and once on Tuesday, August the 6th. He conducted himself in a professional manner and was cordial throughout our interaction. There have been other employees who deserved an honorable mention, but I feel Mr. Williams deserved to be showcased as a commendable employee. read more

Buyer beware: I purchased an iPhone X and an Otter Box at the Township Line Road location. Account setup was a slow, tedious process, as their system wouldn't let them proceed to the confirmation screen. When it finally (after over an hour!) went through, I added an Otter Box to my purchase and the Rep inserted the phone into it right there on the spot, and there it remained until, two days later, I removed the phone from the case in order to add a front screen protector. That's when I noticed a crack in the back lower right corner. Did the rep exert too much force when placing it in the case? She did seem to struggle with it a little. Did she drop it on the counter when fiddling about setting things up? After an hour standing around a counter waiting for the order to process I was simply too tired to notice. All I know for sure is that I didn't drop it. Took the phone back to the Havertown Xfinity store and of course they are not going to admit that it's possible that they broke the phone, and that, perhaps, the extra long nails of the clerk could have caused the damage. I was told that my only recourse was to take it to an Apple store and that maybe the would replace it. Not likely, but I did as they advised. Nope. Apple did inform me that they sell unlocked phones and that next time I should purchase from an Apple store and not Xfinity and that it's an abrasion, and that it shouldn't grow larger. So, brand new phone, already with a noticeable mark on the back. With the Otter Box I can't see the scratch, but after you spend over $1K on a phone you expect it to look good for more than a week! I bought an Otter Box specifically before leaving the store to prevent an issue like this from happening. Lessons learned: inspect, inspect, inspect! Never let the rep put on your case, and never leave the store without a complete inspection. Go early on a Saturday when you are well rested, not on an evening after work when you are tired and less likely to pay attention to the details. For now, the best I can do is jump ship to Verizon during their $250 gift card promo and switch to FIOS to recoup some of the expenses this ordeal has cost. read more

Val has been the most helpful person through Comcast I have ever dealt with! I have been having issues with my Comcast services for 6 months and Val has been the only one to ever actually try to help me resolve these issues. She even called me to make sure she had all of my information correct. Being able to go into the Xfinity store and actually meet with a real person is the only thing keeping me with Comcast at this point. It's a very nice looking store, but the staff is insanely unprofessional. I recently switched over from Xfinity Mobile to AT&T because two lines on Xfinity was running us between $200 and $220 a month. On two separate occasions I used online chat to verify there would be no disconnection fee or charge for my devices, so long as I either mailed them back OR dropped them off at any Xfinity store. So great, all good and easy enough, right? Pump the brakes and remember this is Comcast, so no. I very casually just mentioned to the representative there that I'm just here to drop off my phones and the actual response I got, no joke, was "psssshhh I don't know who told you that but you can't drop this crap off here". Um, were you hired from Wendy's? Know what's an acceptable response? Hear the customer out, inform them of policy, empathize, and do what you can for your customers beyond that. Excellent facility. There was a long line ahead of me, but they made it easy by having padded benches where you could sit and watch TV. The place had an overhead display to see where you were in line. I was 14th, but it only took maybe 15-20min. The service rep was very friendly. Great place, well worth the 20min it took to drive. This location was one of the best. I was immediately greeted at the door and told my expected wait time. I then sat down and was called within 5 minutes. Even though the representative did her best to try to help me I was unable to resolve my issue right then and there but the service that was given to me ensured me that Comcast actually cared.
