Xfinity by far has the worst customer service. You can never reach a supervisor regardless how many Times yoh request. Nothing is w er resolved. The reps talk all over you and interrupt you. Horrible experience. I was on the phone with Xfinity Customer Service for over 2 1/2 hours and they told me to come to this store 35 minutes from my house. COMPLETE waste of time. They were literally NO help AT ALL!!! Absolutely despicable. Between my two accounts I spend over $500/month for service. I am now cancelling both accounts. Tuesday, October 21st, I go online and register with the internet provider Comcast in order to start up service to my new address upon arrival. I select an appointment for Oct. 20th between 3pm-5pm. After submitting my credit card information I receive a registration confirmation email. Friday, October 20th. Move into new home at approximately 10am. Have someone continuously at the house between 2pm-9pm waiting for Comcast service provider. No one arrives and I receive no phone call. Saturday, October 21st. Call Comcast in the morning wondering why no one arrived. Comcast claims they have no record of my request. They do however admit to having all of my information in the system even though I am a new customer. Speak to representative on the phone for three hours attempting to get someone to arrive on the same day. Tech inserts information into computer and tells me she can attempt to send someone out but it will be faster to go Comcast myself and pick up equipment. She provides me with service account number and reassures me all I need is the modem to connect service. She gives me hours of operation for Comcast in my area and the address because I am unable to look it up without internet. Saturday, October 21st. The information the Technical Support agent provided me was wrong. After spending an hour searching for an incorrect address, I manage to find the correct address. Their hours are different than the hours I was provided over the phone and they are already closed. I call Comcast in the parking lot and explain this. The Tech over the phone reassures me he will get my service turned on either today or Sunday (tomorrow). After spending two hours on hold, he tells me he will call me back with the time of my service appointment. I wait all day, he never calls back. Sunday, October 22. My parents provide me with a modem and I call Comcast to connect it. The agent attempts to connect the modem however the equipment I have is not serviceable to Comcast. He provides me with a list of modems which Comcast will accept. He asks for my phone number and an approximate time for when I will get the modem. He tells me he will call me back and get me connected in four to five hours. Sunday, October 22. I call Comcast back after waiting for a few hours for the agent to call me back (he never does). I have purchased the modem I was advised to get and am requesting them to move my service to it so I can have internet. Comcast refuses because they have a Tech coming to my home on Wednesday according to their computer. I tell them that likely happened on the day the agent was attempting to get someone to come out the same day. I was told earlier, I simply need a modem. While I am waiting, I realize my modem allows me to activate online. As I am connecting the modem my internet service is disconnected. When the technical support agent returns I tell them to reconnect the service so I can have internet. They refuse stating they must have an agent arrive first and they will not have an agent out at any time earlier than Wednesday between 3pm-5pm. (please note, I just moved into this location and I need internet to switch over the water, gas, and electric before it is disconnected. Also, I work Monday-Friday so I cannot wait for an agent). Finally, I hang up on the supervisor who is refusing to remove the service order which was simply made for someone to arrive and give me a rental box (which is $60 plus an additional $10 every month) despite the fact that I already have a modem they highly recommended to me (which is hooked up appropriately and connected but unable to provide internet because they disconnected my internet.) I have never experienced such backwards ultimately horrific service in my entire life. To make matters worse, upon hanging up with Xfinity I realize they have a "hotspot" near my location. At the moment, in order to activate my utilities and make a complaint I am using Xfinity Hotspot for $18.95 for the week. Instead of saying there was absolutely nothing they could do but inconvenience me further for their own mistakes, they should have provided this to me free of charge during the interim until the tech who "MUST" arrive at my house could come. Instead they are billing me for disconnecting my service and making it impossible for me to take advantage of what I paid for. read more

Well its been almost two weeks now & I still do not have internet with proper speed I'm paying for. It all started with the initial install a week ago sunday when the tech cut my wiring to my home security system & cameras which was a cat5 cable (not coaxial) thinking it was the old AT&T line (well it was not) I have have had several attempts to resolve this including moving my modem to my garage & the signal trying to transmit through 2 concrete walls. Well that's not working. On 4/4/18 I finally spoke with mgmnt & was assured that on 4/5/18 it would be resolved. Well when my tech arrived he was not briefed & knew nothing of what had happened, so we started all over again, only this time he told me he could only move the modem but not the cat5 wires, so my security system was still going to be inop. He passed me to his supervisor who then told me it was not there job to fix the cat 5 cable, only the coaxial & move the modem & there was going to be a new charge!!! after they caused all this damaged to my cameras & alarm & still have not resolved due to the complex situation now they want me to repay again for the re install. Still awaiting a call from Corp to maybe resolve this without me retaining legal help. " It would be really nice if I could get someone to call me back about my issues" read more

Just a warning about Comcast. This is the most unscrupulous company I have ever dealt with. You will get a contract and you think your bill will be this but low and behold they will find another way to keep jacking up your price. The last increase was that I didn't sign up for paper billing. I did sign up for auto pay and that is what they told me to do to get the $5.00taken off. Now it is paperless billing. I am so over this company. Never again will I do business with them. I had been with them over 30 yrs. Always having to call to figure out what went up this month. On a monthly basis. Zero stars. Crooks.They will tell you one thing but then it changes. They told me they would refund my over payments then they say oh it was prorated so you don't get that much. Stay away from here. read more
