Worst customer service ever!!! kept raising the price for God knows what reasons from 29.99$ to over 70$ in couple years. When I called to cancel they promised to leave the old services for the old price, but instead they have disconnected my services for 3 days. Spent hours and hours on the phone until my services came back and got another confirmation about the same price. After few days decided to check if the price was adjusted - turns out- NO! called billing department, customer solutions, been transferred back and forth, nobody "could" see promised old price, because it was not available !!?? Finally I have spoken to the supervisor, and was told in order for me to keep the bill a bit lower the only way- is to exchange the box (meaning wait in the office for a few hours+disconnect/connect the box, etc). After dealing with them so many times for the few last days and seeing the way they follow their word, I have decided not to waste my time and cancel the services. I still was fully billed even for the days I didn't have the services. They were surprised I was unhappy, because they have made promised changed, ONLY a day AFTER I've cancelled the services... They were talking to me as if I was lying about promised price changes, about how many times I've called and what issues I had... They didn't care, that I kept the service after the first time I called to cancel only because they promised better price and had it until found out that it will not happen for sure. They said - it was my choice to use their services therefor I have to pay in full for all this time. P.S. I had to return the cable box to the office, must say - all the ladies working over there were extremely nice and caring. But one young guy - it made me sick to my stomach every time I looked at him - his body language was so expressive to show that he doesn't care about any of us here, and he couldn't take any longer and move any slower while doing anything else, but helping customers.. it took him about 10 min to put 1 cable box to a plastic bag... I couldn't believe either - that takes some talent! Everyone I have spoken with or met from comcast besides ONE Internet call service tech have no idea what they are doing or talking about. Missed appts, random charges, horrible cable service (direct tv was better especially their customer service), and their high speed Internet is garbage that never adds up to what they say. The only reason they are so big is because they are the ONLY cable and high speed provider here. In the last 2 months I have spent at least 10 hours wasted on the phone w these idiots. Their tech disconnected my internet at the spiltter box and I had to figure it myself after they had no clue and couldn't get a tech out to fix what ThEY screwed up. Cable or multiple channels go out all the time, was leasing me a modem that was supposed to be recalled abd replaced over two years ago and just now decided to tell me about. Oh and their cable dvr box caught on FIRE and took out my 50 inch and ps3. They paid for the pa3 that's it. This is only the beginning. I thought monopolies were supposed to be illegal, yet Comcast seems to have one here in Savannah. I can't get anyone else here. No ATT. No Windstream. And my apartment complex won't allow satellite dishes. The internet is ok. Speeds are good and multiple devices can usually be run without jamming the system. However, the prices are outrageous and the cable service is atrocious. I have to pay 8.00 a month to rent a modem? No option to buy unless I get a third party one, which they plan to use as a scapegoat for any break in service...they actually tell you this (though they don't use the word "scapegoat). 80.00 for an install. Well, on the bill it's explained as 40 for the visit and another 40 for the install. Tell me, how does one install without visiting? And the double charge was NEVER related to me during my sign up conversation. Station guide always says "to be announced." Xfinity on Demand is limited and clunky to navigate. DVR prices are 3x what I paid with Dish!!! My first bill for my so called "budget" 69.00 package is 275 dollars. Utterly ridiculous. read more

I wish there was an option to give negative stars. I called the support center to inform them that my HD channels come in fuzzy, pixelated, and the audio cuts in and out. I called the service number to see if they can fix it and the "service tech" sounded like he'd rather be some place else. He kept telling me to replace the HDMI cable and that he'd reached the end of his trouble shooting procedures. When the automated system called to confirm the appointment, I selected confirm yet the message stated they will "try" to contact me again in 30 minutes to confirm and if I do not respond they will not come. Worst Internet service provider ever! They set up my account for me when I went into the office which was nice but I never received a bill in the mail or by email, and then I was charged late fees! When I called customer support the man said he couldn't do anything and that I had to pay the late fee. Very unhelpful and the man was rude. I will never again in my life use comcast for anything. I would rather not have internet than use comcast. I would rather walk to Starbucks to use their wifi than have to deal with all the bull**** that these people have put me through. They are ridiculously overpriced. Also, their customer service is horrible. I called to get help with changing my plan of service, and they hung up on me 4 times and never called back once. Terrible service. Ordered my service on line. It took 10 days to get a tech to the house. He could not get the cable working and told us the service was down and left. I called the office and got the run around. They told me a supervisor would call. He never did. I turned in the boxes that I picked up 10 days earlier. The best thing about COMBAST is that you have 30 days to turn in the equipment at no charge if you are not happy. read more

Comcast has the absolute worst internet and cable service in addition to customer service. My internet has been intermittent all day today despite multiple attempts to get it fixed. In previous circumstances Comcast has taken days to give our TV services correct. And it's impossible to get on and off the phone with customer service in less than 30 minutes. If you can avoid their service in any way possible I recommend you do it, even if that means paying extra to have service through someone else. read more

I would go for No-Stars as well. We tried to go with Dish but had too many trees so forced to use Comcast. HORRIBLE! They cancelled 2 appts without telling us and I had to argue the refund for both...always had someone overseas and just now after having the "joy" of their service for 6 months have been arguing the $200 card promised at sign up. Apparently they can't find the agreement for the mega package we have (triple play with all channels in HD). I had ONE good service call and they were out of TX...but informed me they normally do not get Eastcoast so had to transfer me..back to overseas!! Unreal. I have heard that Savannah wants them out of here and I will be looking to find out how to put my vote in that they go. Time Warner or some other company needs to come in! read more

So far I've had and still the worst experience with comcast. I've called them so many times to an issue with the service. That has been happening, since we started the new service with them. I also have a problem with the billing getting sent before its been a complete thirty days. I don't plan on keeping their service, for too much longer. This is ridiculous. Im paying too much for a package, I don't even get my complete service on. So I decided too record everything. My conversations with the customer service. Also my services and things i can't and don't get. That comes with my package. Also the early billing date they sent me. I had too record too. If the problem don't get fixed. Phone system is a nightmare. VM says "press zero" which then cuts you off. NExt try to use the spell feature to find someone and that will cut you off too. Multiple tries today and now I just give up. Dissappointed and no where to go. read more

My problem is with customer service. I got a regular box and a dvr. called to connect them when i got home and neither would connect. called customer service they sent me to technical support to trouble shoot. nothing. "give it a little while and see if it works and if it doesnt call us back." called again, same results. called a third time and told them i had a problem and to send a tech. they wanted to charge $40 service fee. I told them this was there problem and Im not paying service charges. SERVICE PROTECTION PLAN. tech came out and fixed the problems but since he reported he only just activated one of the boxes, I was charged. even tho with 3 tries, I couldnt get the boxes to activate but since he did it i had to pay service fees. read more

For the past three months I have been charged for 2 movies I did not order. Each month I have to chat with an agent to have them adjusted. They tell me that they do not have the ability to order the movies, so basically calling me a liar. I live alone and no one could access my remote but myself. When I requested to have my issue escalated, I was refused. The only thing they said they could do was set my credit to zero so that no movies can be ordered. They deserve negative stars. What was promised to have been a "seamless" transition move (from one block to another) took 4 days. Our internet isn't working. We've endured endless phone calls (one with a wait time of nearly an hour), several wait times with subsequent hang-ups --always good for the blood pressure -- a car journey to swap a modem that had been functioning perfectly well the day before the move, and a string of people who just didn't listen properly or ask relevant questions (last four digits of soc. sec. is not the victory lap). There have been some genuinely nice representatives along the way but it's a painful bore to have to hear them apologize all the time. A technician showed up at our old address (oops, someone goofed) and refused to even hear that the correct address was a block away nor did he have the courtesy to give the number to call so that the record could be corrected. He just hung up and it took another hour on the phone to get to the right person. If you are starting from scratch, might be advisable to try Dish first. read more

I called to downgrade from the bundle, but had a past due amount. I was told that in order to downgrade that I would need to pay the past due amount first. I understand about owing a debt, but for one, our television was an older model and broke on us. We didn't feel that we needed to have cable while deciding on when or if we will get another TV - it wouldn't be needed. Usually, a company would be happy to downgrade for you so that you don't incur more debt and be provided for services that you don't need. But, i have never heard of a company doing this. It seems to me, that Comcast wants the customer to stay in debt with them - doesn't sound good at all. We intend to pay this bill off and get a satellite TV with perhaps Dish or Direct TV. I have heard good things about Direct TV and their customer service. The customer service representative with Comcast was very nice. The policies and rules aren't created by the representatives, but by the company itself. It helps to be polite to them when you have an issue, whether they are rude or not. When people complain about Comcast, what they don't seem to realize is, the larger the company - the less it cares for it's customers. And Comcast has a huge monopoly to this area. They could care less about our gripes or issues - that is the higher ups, anyway. I would simply leave them and go with satellite TV or just give up cable all together. Eventually, another company may come to this area, but when this happens, it may be a very, very long while. This company his very deep pockets and can pay anyone off - just about. read more
