This just maybe the best record/album/vinyl store in the metropolitan Atlanta area. A vast stock of very clean, unblemished used albums that are remarkably quiet albums, without nar a scratch. How comeback vinyl gets SO many used records in such good shape is puzzling to me. Even the outer jackets are always in good condition and most of the used albums there - are not CUT OUTS. So if you are a collector of fine vinyl this is a shop you should definitely visit if you haven't already. They have wonderful staff, a listening station, sell online on Discogs and ebay, and also have more NEW vinyl in store for sell than any record store I've been in, whether it be from new artists or a new reissue of something from the past. Comeback is located right in the middle of plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the shop where you and your family members, you and your friends, or just yourself can shop and then go have a nice bite to eat, drink with plenty of variety of tastes for a foodie. And if you are an audiophile like myself, just 2 miles down the street from comeback is a master audiophile technician who buys, sells, and repairs every conceivable form of Hi-Fi equipment you can think of and is open during the week and Saturdays. Comeback Vinyl is one of my favorite independent record stores by far. I have never been to their actual store as I live four hours away in South Carolina but will visit next time I'm anywhere near Alpharetta. I have ordered from them multiple times and have never had any issues. I love to support independent stores but one thing I've noticed from doing mail order for records is that the majority of indie record stores still use those old square record mailers that offer little to no protection to the record. So the majority of the time the jacket to your record arrives with dented corners and seam splits. Not with this store. They do the absolute best job in packing vinyl using bubble wrap and stiffeners inside of a whiplash mailer. Everything I have received from them has arrived in amazing shape. They are literally one of two record stores in the US I can purchase from knowing the record will arrive safetly. Not only that, but they also except returns if you are not satisfied (for any reason). No other record store I know of does that. While traveling to another record store, I passed COMEBACK VINYL. Not intending to stop but with traffic horrific (surprise!) I chose to go in ... instead of fighting my way across town. I was tremondously surprised. With my job requiring a lot of travel I visit a number of record stores around the country. COMEBACK VINYL is in the top tier of all the stores I've been to. Excellent selection, quality products, clean, organized and friendly service. I noticed a previous review as "pricey" ... I would, with experience, disagree based on quality. Wow! Epic fail for "Double-Wide Vinyl", in Alpharetta, GA. Used to be a regular customer, but their "new & improved" website must have been constructed by some of the IT kids from Hillbilly Community College. If they paid more that $25 bucks for their new site, they got "tooken", (as they say in Georgia). - Only redeeming factor here is that you may be able to trade chickens for records, if that's your thing. - NEVER AGAIN. read more
