The improv actors were funny and creative. The story lines were interesting... even more so because they were based on audience suggestions. Several of the improv artists were strong singers which made certain songs especially entertaining. The second time we went was for the New Year's Eve Family show at 7 pm. We took our 12 year old granddaughter. Good family fun with lots of laughs. Nice job to all. Prices are affordable. The cookies from the snack "bar" were excellent and a nice treat to accompany the show.

On this particular night, they had the dance floor covered in chairs and tables, set up like a comedy club or a dinner show. I see on their website that they sometimes clear those tables to provide a generous dance floor space. The table set up is good for comedy or jazz, but many FM songs are made for dancing! Luckily there was plenty of room to dance on the right side of the room, but obviously along the wall there isn't the best sight or sound. I think it would have been better to put the tables in a U shape and provide more room for dancing, which would have really elevated the energy in the room. There are booths along the left, too, so TONS of seating and not much good dance space, but luckily this could be changed in the future. I never had to wait long for a drink and the bartenders didn't mind when I asked for refills of water. I think this space has a lot of potential and I hope to see more music or comedy there soon!

I would guess it holds around 300 people. Table and table service and a bar in the back. Drink prices and admission prices are very reasonable. As a plus sized woman, I find the seats to be very roomy and comfortable. The seats were very cushy and supportive and there was a ton of leg room. I'll go to more shows based on this alone. I think my issue is comparing this theatre to Proctors, which is a very different vibe. The Palace offers more lively shows with less of a strict seating policy. People are often up and down in their seats, there is often a lot of chatter in the crowd; and I think this threw me off my first visit, as I am used to being quiet and still in my seat until intermission. Parking is pretty easy with multiple options locally, as well as abundant street parking. Concessions were very pricy. The bathrooms are in the basement if you are on the main level, so that's a bit of a pain. I won't hesitate to book another show here!
